7100 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046, United States, North Hollywood
Shopping center featuring modern architecture & many large retailers, services & eateries.
I always love coming here so many options. It’s a great place to hang out target and Ulta right at the top. A whole bunch of food options at the bottom. There’s also to Starbucks located at this mall. Lots of homeless people stay around this area so it’s best to just go through the parking structure and upstairs through there. Parking is free for an hour which is awesome because the errands you are running never take that long anyway.
These days the the area between Vine and La Brea, south of Hollywood Blvd and North of Melrose have gone from oddly lonely to pretty threatening very quickly. This particular corner has gone through a renovation about 10 years ago, and may be in the process of being vacated. Starbucks is gone. This whole area in fact all if Los Angeles could benefit from friendly community policing. Something about seeing a familiar face helps us all keep up appearances. We are like the trees off the dusty unclean streets. Healthy except the one thing we need. I will edit this posting if things change but right now this is what people need to know about right now.
Lots of shops in the same area with underground parking which is free for the first 2 hours. You have everything from Target to BevMo too lots of restaurants all in the same underground parking.
Needs to be updated. It was great 10 years ago but its exactly the same.
The outdoor spaces are open to the street. We had a coffee and watched a guy shoot up. There is an element of crime and dispair that has rubbed some of its luster off the outdoor mall. The Stores are still nice.
I sometimes do my grocery shopping here. The prices are a little better than some of the larger supermarkets. But you can buy all sorts of things here. From groceries to mens and womens clothes ETC...Theyre usually pretty busy but they have underground parking and lots of staff people to assist. So although its big, you never feel lost. Its a nice all-purpose one stop shop 🙂
Actually went to the Formosa Cafe next door to the parking entrance.
This place was great and I met a cool chick named Kathleen:)
In L.A. parking is a hassle. Theres plenty of parking here. Good place for some quick shopping. Grab a bite while youre at it!
Even though this mini-mall is tucked in the heart of Hollywood, it has one of the best views of the hills and Hollywood sign!
Its fine not lots of people because of extremely hot
Its West Hollywood lots of stores Gray parking easy to get in and out of free parking for an hour.Target in Best buys and other stores.
needed a laptop. in- store was ,$200. online then pic up in the store was $89. compelling.and thats good cuz this target...its shoppers.....are...a little...crazy
Centrally located for ease of getting to pretty much any part of the LA Metro area. Plenty of eat in/out fast food restaurants. Target and Starbucks are the anchor stores. Lots of outdoor seating some shaded/ some not. Very clean.
Ok its a good little spot. You can post up, eat, shop, chill, but dont expect people to be pleasant or anything, dont let it trip you up, lots of "disco" type. You just be you, child.
If you ever need a T shirt to replace right away This is a good place find something cheaper
Usually here to go to Target as this larger store has certain items the smaller quaint one up the block doesnt have. Busy but easy to get in and out. Usually never wait on self service checkout.
Has Target, Best Buy and a lot of other stores.. Has parking garage..
Good eats and shopping. Cool little patio area with tables to sit at and enjoy a break while grabbing a Starbucks.
Target and Best Buy are the default place to go here. But busy but you get ample parking space. First hour is free so if you are getting something quick, you dont need to pay any parking fees
Great variety of stores but the parking fees are a little steep.
Always good shopping, what with a Best Buy and Target right near each other.
I remember this used to be an old dark poorly maintained car wash.and across the street was a csrls jr next to a small gay bar called the beachwood next to the chrome platting shop.. boy they had some hot mechanics in that place. Now it just another generic stripp mall thank god the formosa cafe is still there. Not sure if vince and his family still own it.. one more block past Michigan st was another gay bar called the shamrock.. i liked it better before west hollywood became a city instead of just county
There is a little hideaway with great shops right on Santa Monica Blvd. There is a great Target with everything you might need. A BevMo that is stocked with all types of liquors and even food. A Supercuts when you need a trim. There is also a sushi place and some cafe’s for a pick me up. This place is a gem that I will continue to go to.
I was at another Target in Eagle Rock and their service was so terrible that I left without buying anything and drove to this Targrt in West Hollywood. Keep up the good work !!!!
ULTA, Target, Sbux, Bevmo & Best Buy all in one place w/ places to eat & more Great! Im glad I dont see the security guy who harassed the unsheltetered disabled ppl anymore. 😒
Parking in structure 1st hour free Target does not validate so I felt rushed. Employees do not acknowledge you, seems like they avoid customers some of them . Cashier was okay.
I was surprised how nice and clean they have maintained this since its inception (especially due to the location)! I also noticed a lot of new construction so looks like they are expanding !
Pretty decent stick but best part people take initiative to help you if you look lost I found someone noticed and asked if I needed help and you can pay almost anywhere in line self check out and someone with a device...Cool
I live just down the street from the West Hollywood Gateway. I have to confess that it has become my least favorite place to visit. I absolutely hate the parking structure. My last visit, I pulled up to the automatic ticket issuer, pushed the button, and no ticket came out. I pushed the button again, and still no ticket came out. I look in my rear view mirror; there is a growing line of people behind me,making it impossible to back up. Several cars behind me start honking their horns. Several more jump into this annoying situation. I push the attendant button, but there was no response. This goes on for about 5 minutes when suddenly a parking attendant appears out of nowhere. The attendant says to me "didnt you hear me on the speaker"? I say "no I heard nothing" The attendant says "Im sorry about that" the attendant then puts a key into the ticket machine and out pops a ticket.Like I said... I hate anytime I visit this place!
West Hollywood Gateway is the name of an outdoor medium sized shopping mall. It has two anchor stores. A Best Buy on the ground level at the south end and a Target on the second level at the north end. There is also a large Ultra Beauty store on the second level next to Target. The smaller stores are a mix of various but unique fast food restaurants, hair stylist, cell phone store etc... There are two levels of underground parking and the first hour is free. Just remember to take your parking ticket with you because you will need to run it through their automated system before returning to your car and leaving.
Usually the name West Hollywood brings about images in my mind of things that are; clean and fun, tacky and tasteful, neat and graceful. On the other hand, the name “the West Hollywood Gateway” brings about images that are; dull and tired, gross and dismal, messy and uninspired. It’s the place you’re forced to walk through in order to get to target, GameStop, Best Buy and in between get a mocha latte from Starbucks. The shops are fine, just nothing imaginative. All corporate entities. For some reason this area attracts lots of crazy people, vagrants and homeless, which is fine I guess but it gets to be a little much.
Went to Best Buy to pick up some cables. Have shopped at the Target at this location too. Plenty of underground parking with elevator access the main shopping area. Lots of different shops so if you qualify as a shopaholic, youre in luck. No high end places that I am aware of.
Stores are empty. Couple doing construction, but not adequately stocked. Not the best time to raise prices....understand, and gouging? Do your part in being positive and show you care about customers over $. Theyll appreciate it when this is over or remember it
The ticket system to get in and out the place makes it one of the easiest places to shop. There are a few descent stores in the plaza; Target, Best Buy, Starbucks and Crawfish and BevMo. Easy in and out to get what you need makes this 5 stars!!
This place is awesome. Free parking for an hour, but no parking validation. 1 stop shop at Target, get your BevMo, or Best Buy shopping done, or get some great Sushi, Crawfish, or build your own pizza!
I really like the setup of this mall. We had dinner that night at the juicy crab, it was the least expensive meal I had in California.
Good experience today. Ive been there before. Today a young man unlocked the basket n helped me out with my bag to catch my uber. I think his name was Marco. Work inside target store. I was very appreciative to the kind young man to walk outside with me and help me to my uber.😚
We go Gateway is more a convenient shopping area than an exciting or dazzling shopping mall. One anchor store is a large, well-stacked Target. This branch carries clothing, household items, scooters and bicycles, some electronics and storage containers--as well as a large pharmacy, aisles of health+beauty products and a good sized grocery section with a***good selection of fresh bottled juices, not to mention an extensive selection of frozen foods, including your standard frozen pizza on to frozen turkey dinners, exotic packagedesserts***and a variety of ethnic foodsWith a very helpful, friendly sales staff and cashiers who can ring items up as fast as, you can carry them out.Target really has "something" for everyone. thanks,
The biggest shopping mall Ive ever been to. There were so many people and it was crowded yet everyone had enough space to walk and sit. My only regret is not eating at their huge food court. There are a lot of different stores in this mall, you literally can find anything here. Macarons, silly putty, jewelry, tea, anything! Pleasant shopping experience when I visited the West Coast.
This is a very well organized shopping mall, and I like the way management arranged things! The good thing about this mall is that they have a section exclusively for dining. I love their outdoor section. There was a nice view of their garden with fountains. I strongly recommend this shopping mall!
It was a breeze to park underground with the ticket system they have in place. Made getting around the area much easier. Lots of restaurants open to eat in the courtyard and Target was easy to navigate from parking to the elevators.
There are many good places here to shop and take out food. 2 Starbucks, one one the bottom of the mall and one inside Target. There is an Ulta, a Best Buy and more! Trader Joes a bit down the street. Really a great pace to visit and pretty much anything you want in that mall and a couple minutes walking from it. Too many to name here!
I love shopping here! They have very reasonable prices, a good product selection, quite a few organic choices, and try to keep clean ingredient food products. Also, have great weekly sales and good quality stuff. The shops are clean, and the employees are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this grocery shop for all your needs!
Good location. Plenty of parking within the single level structure. A bit of heavy traffic during peak hours (11am-4pm), expect short delays with commute times. Surrounded by plenty of stores to fulfill most of your shopping needs. Foot traffic is mostly minimal due to Covid-19, as youre probably aware already. All in all, pleasant experience, 4 Stars.
Its a good Mall and very easy to get to, parking is good but always busy. I really love the little community seating area on street level with umbrellas ☔ and tables and chairs. COVID safe and most people are great about that. Its a little haven to have a coffee ☕ or lunch. I like it.
Did a marketing rep coverage for Target. It’s a nice Target. I like the location.
Went to saved by the max, appetizers were grear, entrees were okay, but thr atmosphere is amazing. Cut straight out of saved by the bell!!!
We came here for Saved by the Max & man did we have a blast!! This popup is amazing. My family & I wish they would turn this into a permanent fixture chain restaurant. We all dressed up & enjoyed the food & all around nostalgia & feel of it. Totally worth the cost, wait & everything else.
Nice open space...I only wish that no paying parking will be the key to bring more people too
