West End Pub & Pool in Wichita Falls

Great little place, rooms are really nice, staff are great and the food is amazing !We stayed here while visiting Wentworth golf club location was great for that !

Food was lovely and hot. Tasted great too. Very friendly service and hope to drop n again.

Great service but it appeared to me that very little food was freshly prepared. Also meat would only be cooked "well done". There was no other option e.g Medium or Medium Rare.

We went for brunch, great veggie and gluten free choices. Food was delicious and great service.

Had a great dinner there for my husbands 40th bday, staff were incredibly friendly and chatty, food was good, service even better.

Very disappointing having been recommended to go there. I was ordering for myself and 2 guests, so 3 starters and 3 main courses; after each the waitress said "amazing", "awesome" "wonderful" or made some equally ridiculous comment. After each request throughout the evening we then got "no worries" or " no problem", again totally stupid and unnecessary remarks. Some of the food was acceptable but nothing was outstanding. We waited 15 minutes for one large glass of wine including 2 reminders. A lot of staff training is required here.

Wonderful little charmy hotel. Wide and well decorated rooms and comfortable beds.Excellent personel attention.Good breakfast.Good beer and a lovely courtyard.I spend there three days while attending the Farnborough International Airshow June 2022.Fresh rooms even during a heat wave of 40° C.

Food and service was excellent. We did get a table designed for much taller people as we sank down into the chairs which made me have to really sit up just to eat...maybe we were just too short.

Great stay, first time as well. Enjoyed the food and a good varied menu, prices fine. Lovely settings at the back garden and everything really well kept such as the hanging baskets and great to see a real pride in your business. Rooms were great and had everything i needed both to work and rest. Breakfasf was amazing too and so much choice. Staff great, very friendly and excellent service with a smile from everyone. Keep up the good work, highly recommended.

Went too the restaurant side of the of the Inn the service from the staff is first-class the food is top notch its a place to visit I will return all the way from London again. Spot on

Very good breakfast. Good choice of options.A bit lacking in atmosphere in the restaurant, and service was not outstanding, although it was fine.Between us we had a range of options. The eggs Benedict are well made (also the Florentine and royale), will packed and runny. Very generous portion of hollandaise sauce too.Full English looked was good, but felt a touch "cooked to a budget". Would be better with fewer items and more generous portions

Excellent beer garden which is a suntrap. The pubs location is handily opposite the bus stop to get back to Woking.Good food and beer and staff are very attentive and friendly. Id definitely go back.

Nine of us went there to celebrate a birthday and had a great time. The service was so warm and friendly and the food was plentiful, hot and delicious. We would definitely recommend it and will be visiting again.

Great little spot in Woking, fantastic and i genuinely say this service, food and hotel room. Really glad i broke free from the norm of a chain hotel.

Loved it!We called in for lunch while travelling.The staff were welcoming , showed us to a table and gave us menus. A charming young lady took our drinks order whilst we made our food choices. Our food order was taken and it soon arrived. I had a BLT panini with a portion of chips. It was delicious.The pub itself was lovely, decorated to a very high standard with a beautiful garden.We will definitely call in again when in the area.

I was one of the mums who visited on Friday for a coffee morning. There were at least 20 adults individually ordering food and drink. The staff were brilliant and kept up the great service. The only thing that I have to mention is maybe some of the staff need to be mindful of how they serve the drinks. On at least 3 occasions a staff member passed coffee over my 4month olds pram as she slept. Even when we highlighted to her there was a baby in the pram she didnt acknowledge the danger. Other than that, thank you for a lovely morning!

A friendly greeting upon our first visit. Good and varied menu, we had curried salmon followed by salted caramel choc pot both really nice. Friendly and efficient service from the start.Well be back!

Stayed here on a Saturday night. The room was lovely with a comfy bed and a walk-in shower. The pub is pleasant too and the food is good. Breakfast was really tasty and the choice was varied. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again. Recommended.

Had a lovely stay recently. The room was clean and comfortable, the service was excellent, the staff were welcoming and attentive but they also didnt hover which I liked. I had a delicious West end burger and a great night sleep. Would definitely recommend 👌

Had Christmas lunch here yesterday. Just wanted to say thank you to ALL the staff involved who gave up their Christmas Day to make sure that all the customers had a good time and enjoyed a delicious meal. From the happy and warm welcome to them packing our cheese course up to take home because we were too full (! Happy New Year to all of you.

First visit here after about 8 years and it has changed hands/onership. It is one of the Barons group of restaurants and pubs, and from the booked tables today, clearly very popular and busy. A group of 4 of us booked for lunch in the lead up to Christmas. We were placed in a side room, away from a large, noisy office group. Very grateful for the separation as covid fears accelerate! We followed guidelines re masks etc. Meal was first class, and service pleasing and courteous. Menus change quite frequently, I understand, though today the lamb shank was A1! Will definitely book again and look forward to trying other specialities of the chef.

Very reasonably priced. Clean and tidy room, comfy bed with crisp sheets. Only very minor point is that the carpet looked a bit shaded and was due a shampoo.Breakfast had a great choice of food and the full English was very tasty. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Special mention to Laszlo at front desk and our waitress, Katherine. Will definitely stay here again.

This restaurant previously was a wonderful place to eat. No more, now taken over by barons pubs the food is average to poor. We went for Sunday lunch. The meat was so dry and overcooked we had to send it back. Just very very poor food. My daughter had fish and chips and that she eat and enjoyed. But my wife had the same as a second attempt at something different and she said it very average.Just don’t go on the current ratings it’s a 3.5 at best. Nice staff and very pleasant, just back to the old days of poor pub food on this one

We visit this restaurant regular and the pass two times we have been with friends and then family has been disappointing due to the food. Which is such a ahame. The service is great and the staff are friendly, attentive to your needs and wait time is reasonable. The food, all our vegetable were hard way under cooked not as hot as you would expect and not as enjoyable. What a shame really dont want to try somewhere else but we might think next time.

Good location, lovely interior, great bedrooms. If only the food was better...Used to offer fantastic food but Id say its now just about average since its takeover by Barons Pubs. The beer is also so-so these days.Overall, its okay but definitely not one for foodies or beer aficionados.

Very good food and service, prices are quite high, eg a burger is £17, although I havent tried it and its probably very good.I didnt check the price of beer and I hope they arent overcharging as some pubs are taking advantage by hiking unreasonably. Overall, nice little oasis in West End.
