Compact green space with a riverside promenade & an amphitheater for concerts & other events.
Lovely view along the River. We took a bike ride along this stretch of park benches with beautiful brick pathway overlooking the water.
Phenomenal place for outdoor concerts
Bridge The Gap !Good Food !
Went to see Rick springfield there. Bathroom was good. Kinda confusing where to sit if handicapped. All of handicapped seats at far over that you couldnt see any thing.
Nice venue on the River, seen the band five for fighting there and it was a really cool evening. Took a couple pics with the drummer Mr. Randy Cooke, super great guy! Id enjoy seeing another show here, parking was good and the atmosphere was very nice👍🏼
Very nice park but should be putting up a place to use the bathroom if having to wait to get into park.not fair to allow wheelchair riders to get the best seats first.
Great place to see a great concert and lots of room for sitting as well as dancing. Ive enjoyed most of the bands Ive seen there
Usually a great place to relax, the Sunsets are nice and sometimes you can catch a freighter going through, which is a unique experience for those not from the area
Loved it. Great place for concerts.
Free band concerts on Wednesdays, bring an umbrella, there are food trucks but limited varieties, there is also concessions with hotdogs, pop an popcorn, always a good time
The appledore going out on the bay was a great experience. it was phenomenal and gorgeous.
A great park by the river. A nice place to wall after eating downtown. Really convenient location.
Love the "Shell". Its a beautiful park and there are so many activities that happen in the summer. Plus, its right on the river, so beautiful views dont hurt either.
Wednesday night concert series seldom disappoints. Poor planing however, The City of Bay City has only 6 designated Handicap parking spaces for a venue that holds over 5,000 people for a Wednesday night concert.
Beautiful setting downtown with many free and low cost events. Modern concession stand and bathrooms with a pavilion, playground, stage and boat docks.
Didnt think Phil Dirt And The Dozers were that good this Year. They were missing their Lead Singer this Year. Tony Alfono missed him....
Beautiful little park for events. Perfectly located for food and drinks in town as well.
Lots of space and the atmosphere near the river is awesome! Easy to relax and enjoy yourself!
My friend from high schools band played here tonight. RIOT 5. Great job! Still sounds good as ever if not even better...
Nice gathering spot for the town. Bathrooms, wheelchair accessibility, paced walkways in front of and viewing spots for the river, benches and occassional vendors will be immediately in the area. If that is not your taste fare then there are several other pubs bars and restaurants in the immediate area to satiate your food desires. Oh yeah and theres a big band shell and a bit of cocer bench area to enjoy also!
The Bay City fireworks festival never disappoints! Downtown also has various shops, stores and places to check out during the day- this is a good place for a day trip.
Pretty low key park but there always seems to be something going on every weekend in the summer.
Always nice experiences at Wenonah Park. This time we were here for Great Lakes Bay Pride Festival. Last time I was down here was for the Tall Ships. Bay City can be a very backward and parochial place, but the riverfront and downtown is super awesome. So many great coffee houses, the antique mall, shopping places, the Delta Planetarium.
Very good park for animals and children. On the water has cool waterfalls. Great location for all.
If you visit Bay City this is definitely a must. Its right by down town which has a lot to do and is rich with history. The shell is kind of like a unofficial community center. Everyone who lives in Bay City has been there at least once.
Walked through the Riverside Art Fair down here. Lots to see and purchase. Enjoy attending this event every year. The park is well maintained and beautifully landscaped. If you time your trip you might even enjoy seeing a passing ship.
Great place to go and sit by the water and enjoy the day. Great for people watching
Beautiful river walk. Lovely view of Bay City. Great restaurants. Nice fishing area. Tall ships are spectacular. Relaxing seating area.
Clean nice park!
Great park in Bay City along the Saginaw River.
Nice place to walk and admire the town. Festivals/concerts during summer.
I love the Wednesdays in the Park! Usually very clean and within walking distance to many unique stores in downtown bay city. Also has places to tie your boat on the river.
Cute little park. The riverfront is beautiful. So peaceful and calm. I can’t wait to visit Bay City again.
One of the best fireworks for July 3rd in the entire USA. It lasts around 30 min and this park is the best place to watch.
Went to Cheap Trick concert. Had the best time ever. The park was clean, all the workers at their stand were very respectful ( you dont get that to much now adays). I had a blast.
Great place for music between a river walk and a very walkable town. Cheap Trick was playing when I walked around the park.
Watched the fireworks here. Got the VIP seating, as it was a fundraiser for the fireworks. Great view and entertainment during the 4th of July.
A very family friendly place with good social distancing options in the nice part of the town
Very nice riverfront area. There was an area under construction by the bridge but no issues. This is also just steps away from the downtown area. The ship that was docked gives tours but due to covid they were not touring.
I find this Park outstanding... The photogenic #Sunsets, #Sunrize and marina type views, is nothing short of spectacular. River Walk, Constructing Music Shell, Marina type scenery, historical buildings, multiple-mini Parks....coooool.
I lived in bay city growing up and always loved the water. I came here to visit my dad who was having heart surgery and came here to relax
Watched boat races from here. Very nice. Clean, recently built, right in front of the DoubleTree. Would come back again
Great space for an outdoor concert or show. Being on the river keeps the air cool while attending events with a lot of people. The park is nice, clean and big
2019 Bay City Country Music Festival was a great time! Ken Shelton and promotional team brought in some awesome country musicians. This will be an annual trip up to Bay City for sure!
On the right nights the sunset is definitely worth the wait. Guaranteed to leave in a better mood after appreciating the sounds of the Saginaw river gently hugging the docks. Good places to go and reflect. Not very private but its a public park so thats kind of a thing we a share and appreciate. Pack a snack if your like they have picnic tables with sun/ rain umbrellas. Its wise to bring a small hand towel to dry the benches off if it recently rained. Best enjoyed with company, I find it a good place to go and relax, reflect and enjoy youre favorite tunes. Please enjoy it, its our tax dollars at work for a good cause.
Great little park downtown on the river. Gorgeous views of the river and Bay City, especially at night during the summer. They have free and pay concerts. Summer movies and performers for the kids. Ice skating in the winter under the new pavilion.
Nice and clean smallpark, the views were very nice but not much more than that to do but look at the river.
Beautiful place to take a walk, watch a band play, go ice skating, fishing or just sit and relax.
This place has gotten a lot nicer over the years. They have great festivals, concerts, and events each year. Also, the park is a ni e place to walk along the river and enjoy the views of Bay City.
