Funky beer brewery built atop a well serving pizza plus burgers & steaks with signature sauces.
Went for trivia night and had a good time. The sprouts are great and it was a good atmosphere for a night of trivia. Will go again.
Truly a 5 star brewhouse. They surpassed every detail. Everything about this place is amazing. Even the tribute to Oly beer around the place.
Food was good? Ordered the chicken Sandwich. Tasted great but took no risks. It looked kinda fake, like Airline food - but was actually really tasty. No sides? Honestly, was confused when the food came out. When you order a sandwich, its all youre going to get.Not a regular? Too bad; service staff will not notice you, and when they are helping you, they get distracted easily by the regulars and forget they were in the middle of a transaction with you.House Beer is ok. Nothing special.
A bit noisy but good food and a good beer selection. Nice to have a place like this downtown.
Moderate service. Nice people but not real attentive. Took a while to get my order in then took longer to get it. Got it after the guy next to me got his pizza first which takes longer to cook than a chicken sandwich and he came in way after me. Needs improvement but food is good.
This brewery truly makes classic Olympia Beer. They use actual Artesian water and actual original Oly recipes from 1800s through the 1970s all with the guidance of an actual Olympia Brewing Co. brewer. It doesnt stop there, though, they also make more traditional and contemporary styles like barrel-aged beers, hazy IPAs, sours, Hefeweizen, and more. Great events, too like scavenger hunts, karaoke, trivia, cribbage tournaments, and others. Good food, too. Try their flash-fried Brussels sprouts.
Great food and awesome atmosphere. Theres kind of a 1980s theme. The burgers were great, but they were out of the ahi tuna. 😕Definitely try brussels sprouts from the appetizer menu!
Good food, drinks, and the AC was a plus.. The service wasnt great. We asked for water and never got any.. it was a 90 degree+ day. The waiter didnt write our order down and messed up. We were only checked up on once the whole time we were there and I could see our waiter chit chatting with one table for over 5 minutes.
They brew everything on their daily brew menu on site. We all enjoyed a different type of lager at the table. Great atmosphere!
Must go! Waited until I’ve been there twice to leave a review. Highly recommend! Drinks are good, service is good and the burgers and tots are amazing! Finally found my go to burger place!
Love the interior and my server was so accommodating and kind. The food was wonderful: Caesar salad and tater tots with incredible aiolis. The beer is nothing to write home about, but its still good.
Terrific, the parking could be better, not sure what you folks can do about that. Food, price, service superb. The beer, magnificent.
Best place in Olympia downtown to hangout with friends/family and colleagues.Best part:- Bear options and its really good- Their IPAs are really good- Friendly staff- They conduct few games during dinner times and also distribute gifts for winners. This is amazing...- Flash-Fried Brussels Sprouts - This is amazing... i strongly recommend this try and this is one of my best appetizer- Very decent food menu and very nice place
Simple, classic burgers done incredibly well. The drive in burger with a beyond patty was so good Im already thinking about when I can return for another. It paired perfectly with hand cut fries, and as someone who loves buffalo sauce for dipping, the fact that they have house made buffalo sauce was icing on the cake. With the only exception being a certain burger chain in CA that will always have a special place in my heart, I have not had a better burger.
So we have now had a few bad experiences at this restaurant. And I will now stop supporting this restaurant. My wife walked in with a Starbucks coffee, and some staff member ran over to her and stopped her before she could even greet our table and say hello. He then began to stand there until she got rid of the coffee cup and going on about health laws. Then proceed to follow my wife to the garbage can to make sure she threw it away. No apologies, no thank you, no can I get you another drink. Done, save your money and stop supporting horrible customer service!!!!
We searched Google for a brew house .. and found Well 80 . Was such a Great experience !The space itself is amazing , architecture and decor very appealing ! Food and beer delicious!Sonny was our server .. personable .. and friendly .. we don’t visit the city often .. but he made our experience .. we will recommend this place and visit again .
Excellence in all areas; food service, beer, and atmosphere. Came across Well 50 by chance, looking for a brewery close to I-5. Will definitely be back! They have a diverse selection of beer. I had both IPA which were great. The 80 lbs was may favorite. The Olympia clone is pretty good also. Love the homage to Olympia Beer along the way to the restrooms.
Really good food. Nice atmosphere. The pizza was good. I loved the habenaro chicken bites. The pulled pork was a little bland, but great with the habenaro pineapple sauce.
Great food and service! Nice open casual setting. Had the sprouts and tots appetizer and a salad. Was full and still have a salad with some sprouts for lunch tomorrow. Pizza and burgers looked great too.
Atmosphere was really great. Music was old school, which was awesome. Service was good based upon how busy they got. So if your looking for a place to relax and enjoy a local brewed beer with some great food and old school music this place is it. Loved it and definitely would be back. Pictures I could get before the family destroyed it lol. This was the pork sandwich and the kids size pizza which definitely isn’t a personal pan. Cheers and enjoy!
This brewpub in Olympia downtown has both amazing food and tasty craft beer. Great service. Kid-friendly. We had Brewhouse Sprouts appetizer and this dish is incredible. Definitely check out this place again.
Good beer selection and food. Had the habanero chicken appetizer that was amazing. The burger and fries were also good.
Lovely lively brewhouse in Olympia. Stopped by on a Tuesday for dinner and the place was buzzing with a lot of folks. Seems like they were having a trivia night and everyone was having lots of fun. We ordered the coffee chocolate beer and also the Amber and I loved both the beers alot. Their brussel sprouts are the BEST. Tater tots with truffle tasted delicious and so did the chicken bites with nashville sauce. Service was great and all in all we had a fun time here. Highly recommend.
We go to well 80 all the time. The food is consistently good and their waitstaff if the best! I like the cider and I like that I can taste it first because some can be too sweet. The drive in tots are so good but come hungry. We often get to full because we get the tots and a meal. It’s great if you share the tots. I think they have membership once a year that you can get discounts. We should have done it because we go there so often so the discount would have paid for itself.
What a great place with an even better happy hour. Lots of food options for family or adults. Big screens telling you whats on tap and good food. WAS a mighty gem in down town Olympia.Im a bit disappointed in the direction their food is going, they could use some work.
Pretty much our favorite restaurant in Olympia! We go here about once a month. The burgers are awesome! The fries and tots are the absolute best! With a wide beer menu, they’ve got something for everyone. Oh, and the wait staff are always great.
Great local spot! Have some must trys from this place. 1.Better get the brussel sprouts. 2.Son of a Beach CocktailI couldnt imagine the taste of the drink by the description, so I had to try it. Liquor and beer together... Some how, some way... It was really good! I would go back for these two things alone. Great spot and loved the ambiance and energy. Would recommend to others and will be returning.
We had a great experience this evening! We started with the Oly Fries. They fries were cooked perfectly, the onions were sweet, and the special fry sauce was amazing! We ordered the Black & Bleu Burger, Paris Bistro Steak and the kids Grilled Cheese as our entrees. Everything came quickly and tasted excellent. The steak came with a sauce on the side that kind of has a woodsy/pine taste. Not personally my favorite but very interesting! They have a fireplace and games that you can sit and chill at but just know that kids arent allowed in that area! They have a TV in the bathroom which is kind of fun!
I do many 5 star ratings but these places deserve my rating. I just discovered Well 80 and am impressed. A good selection of their own beers and a couple I really like. An IPA drinker, I like their Graveyard IPA. A red IPA. Tasty. They also have popcorn, a big draw for me. I haven’t eaten but the menu has many good looking items. Figure I will head down for lunch in the next couple of weeks. I’ll update after dining. Oh, great staff too. I sat at the bar and talked to the bar tender. Each of them knew their beers and were helpful and friendly.
We did a farewell luncheon at Well 80. It is our second time visiting this location, the first time being in April of this year. Most of my colleagues opted for burgers/soups. I tend to stick to the brussell sprout appetizer and the chicken and waffle entrée. I tried the Ocktoberfest meal this time that came with sauerkraut and a pretzel. Though the bratwurst from DelMonico’s (love themwas delicious, I left the rest mostly untouched. The staff is friendly and helpful but very busy. This place gets a decent amount of traffic, and it is for good reason.
Fabulous food. The contrasting flavors in the chicken and waffles was outstanding. Excellent friendly service. Choice of indoor and outdoor dining.
Atmosphere was exceptional. What a cool place. However, I was expecting something phenomenal for $15. For a burger. JUST the burger. Fries, tots, salad, etc is extra. Definitely not worth the money. And it was the ultimate drive in burger. Did I mention $15? See photo. You get more for $7 at Wendys. The Brussels sprouts were really great though.
Very unique Mac n Cheese. Great beer. Fun location. Marseille tots are the best
Such a cool brewery and space. Probably the best in Olympia. I really appreciate when a brewery not only has solid beer, but has great food. Well 80 has both! I recommend the chicken sandwich, and definitely get the brussel sprout appetizer - unique and delish. Thank you Well 80!!
Tipsy McStagger, Tubular Targasm and their infamous Sprouts and Tots! Highly recommend Well 80 Brewhouse for great tasting brews and food, and really good service.
Quickly seated by friendly staff. Food was incredible!!! If youre looking for a quick bite at a bar for lunch, this place is perfect! Thanks for an awesome dining experience!!!
Fried chicken was ok nothing special, the fries were really good and seasoned well. They have a nice setup to maintain social distance and a heater at each section which keeps you warm. Good for a date since the space limited. Good beer selection if you into IPA. Great for a happy hour stop
Yeah, Well 80 is pretty dang good. I had a few pints of the Lager and ended up taking a few pints home with me. Food was pretty good as well. No complaints here.
Good beer. Had the brussel sprouts appetizer which was surprisingly delicious!!! Standard pub style food. Everything we had was good!
Industrial modern decor with warm welcoming vibe. A bit loud when crowded hard to hear the people your with. Beer was good tried a few and decided on an IPA. Some local guest taps available as well. Food was ok with a variety of options. Good location in the downtown area of Olympia.
This place serves some amazingly well made beers. I enjoy the simple 64 lager when I am here. It is a perfect example of the style. I came in on Saturday for lunch. I sat at the bar top. Service was friendly, but seemed a bit slow. I had the Smashville Chicken with fries. The fries were done to perfection. The temperature of the chicken was not quite piping hot. The chicken was quite tasty, and enjoyable. This place does a great job, and service in on par for Olympia. I really enjoy coming here when I am in Olympia, and I will be back.
Great selection of beers from both their own taproom and around the area! Staff is friendly! Trivia on Tuesdays is also very fun. Popcorn is cheap (sometimes freeand great to snack on while having a brew.
Service was spot on and the food was well worth the price. The flavor was excellent and the hostess Carly was out of this world and was ontop of the service. Keep up the amazing work! Come during happy hour 3 - 6 everyday! Tip Carly Well! :D
The beer selection is fantastic and the food is unique and delicious. It has been packed every time Ive gone but the staff seem to manage very well. The interior looks to have been designed very well.
Delicious beer and food here. My personal favorites to get are the pretzels and tots with the in house IPA. Id highly recommend giving Well 80 a try if youre in down town Oly.
Good burgers and beers with great fries! The caramelized wasabi Brussels sprouts are very popular. We went for lunch and it was busy, but not packed. We were told the kitchen was running slow, but we only waited about 15 minutes. We didnt order the sprouts but they look great & its a very ample serving. The "standard" Great American drive in burger is very good as is the All-Out burger (like a cheeseburger & BLT together.. Great service in a clean spacious atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating. If you found this post to be helpful please consider a thumbs-up.
This place is rad. They have a wide selection of amazing in house craft beer. Then they have a menu filled with delicious food. Plus the have the impossible burger made entirely from plants. Addtionally this is also a family friendly location.
Tuesday 8/28/18 7:30pVery nice, down-to-earth addition to the downtown Olympia experience. Well 80 is a laid back establishment that exudes style and refinement while the staff make you feel comfortable and right at home.First and foremost, Well 80 is a brewpub offering a full selection of craft beer brewed on site. I am a hefeweizen connoisseur and Well 80s rendition is one of the best Ive sampled in a long while. The menu goes beyond typical *bar* food offerings with choices of artisan pizza, gourmet burgers, salad, and soup. Our favorite find was the beer battered chicken bites. Large chunks of all white chicken breast, lightly battered, cooked to perfection, and served with your choice of gourmet sauce.Well 80 pays homage to the local brewing history with a large billboard of *Olympia beer - Its the water." If food quality and service level stay at the top of their game, Well 80 will become a fixture in the downtown landscape for years to come. Well done!A rare true 5 star rating!
I keep hearing their service sucks but I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was great, service was good and fast, and the place is big, trendy and clean. They also brew their own beer here. A bit too many IPA options but still fun.
We went tried the pizza, mac and cheese, and grilled cheese and soup. They were all very good, especially the pizza. I also got a porter which was excellent. The staff is still a little green, but nice and hard working. It has a good atmosphere and I like the historic videos that play in bathrooms. Id go back for more beer and pizza
