Wąwóz Korzeniowy Dół - Tourist attraction in Lublin, Poland
Great little hike
You pay 3zł per person. to walk up a hill in between tree roots, and thats after paying 5 zł to park. If you really want to see tree roots go to the forest. they are free to look at. it took 5 minutes to walk to the top. Impressed, only with then people who charge you for such a waste of time. Not sure what people saw in it 🤔.
Super.
Quite disliked having to pay to see 100m of a woodland path, at least it would have been nice if they provided a toilet, but not, that was also payable separately, £1 per person, 5xtimes uk price!!
Beautiful gorge!
Must see.
Nice place to visit, you can spend around 30 minutes there, parking nearby costs 5zl per hour
A bit overrated in my view. On weekend expect that the place is crowded. I would like not to pay 5 PLN for the entry, such places should be admittance free.
Was a nice walk costs 2 zlotysWas really good spooky seeing the trees how they growWorth a visit
Cool gorge. Only need to spend about 10 minutes here.
Some most incredible nature experience I saw in Poland, Kazimierz Dolny. It can be 3D map and implement in video games or virtual reality.I can strongly recommend to see it during East Poland trip.
Short and muggy, nice to see indeed, but no idea why its paid.
One of many small canyons in Kazimierz area. It gets deeper every year. The exposed tree roots have amazing forms. Really worth visiting!
Perfect place for a photoshoot and to spend time nicely! 😁✨
Interesting place with easy access and small walk. Children suitable and rare, as its not easy to find other places like this one
Great place! Worth to visit :also the whole town, Kazimierz Dolny
If you use Google maps make sure you go to the RIGHT side of the food place. Do NOT go to the left side like we did. Wasted 30 min
Good place to visit, but really only for 30 minutes. Restaurant at the bottom seems solid, tables are placed in cool spots, bit did not eat there. They had good ice cream for the kids.
The place is a little reminiscent of the kind of scene you would find in the move Lord of the Rings. Its a little bit like being outside of the real world. Its a pleasant walk up a gentle slope, of less than 10 minutes, but there are diversions on the right which lead to beautiful fields, and also as you exit there are great walks directly ahead. The path is shaded and cool while inside the ravine, but can be hot once you leave, so have some water on hand. There is also a lovely walk from the main square to the ravine, especially if you go left after the school and through the residential area and not on the main road. It takes about 30 minutes to get there. Take the time to explore the area beyond the exit, its worth it. Always worth visiting if youre in the area for its charm.
I love that place because it has amazing landscape which is unforgettable.
The highlight of Kazimierz - regardless of the weather. And theres a place you can eat - good!
Amazing additionaly there is one more crevice nearby worth visiting
Great little place to check-out if you have 10 minutes and are in the area.
Beautiful as usual. Try to visit in early morning as less people and gorgeous light.
Beautiful walk, just for 15 present minutes
A great place, I recommend that you protect yourself against mosquitoes. There are tons of them.
It is a nice place but slightly overrated.
During weekends too many people .Crowded place . In ordinary day nice walk close to Kazimierz.
Great place to hike.
Maybe interesting in summer, but, then again, reading other reviews place swarms with tourists. At the time of my visit, late December, rain made it impossible to visit, its half a meter of mud and dead leaves. The entire area is very difficult to walk and overall the "eerie beauty" of the place seems to not worth it. You could maybe take a few pictures and walk about for a quarter of an hour on a good day. This is an overrated tourist attraction in a tourist trap of a town with very little to offer
A natural gorge, created by continuous erosion of loess rocks and soil. It is around 700 m long, but something like 2 m wide. Due to erosion, the roots of the trees are exposed, making it a natural sculpture or art installation. The depth is around 3 m. The gorge is like a snake. Therefore, it is a pleasant walking trail. It is of course difficult to walk during rainy day.
Place is absolutely fantastic. Never mind the crowds ;)Exposed roots forms fantastic natural sculptures & lot of photo opportunitiesBut still better to come here during the weekAvoid in rains - it gets slippery and immensely muddy
A place to visit with your family, a 3 meter deep u-shaped trail, Car recommended
Its pretty but we went on a normal Monday morning around 10.30am and it was totally overcrowded with school groups and tourists. It had just rained and the ground turned to mud with all the visitors. I hope the authorities take measures to control access so that everyone can enjoy the special atmosphere without competing for oxygen!
Beautiful place. Important remark: there are two ways on both sides of the tavern. Proper way is the one near information board.
If you are near go and have a look!
I love this place. Lot of walking, so if you dont like be active its not for you
Very interesting place, its very unusual to see trees roots on the ground. Also the atmosphere here is just perfect for chilling out, far away from city
If you visit Kazimierz Dolny, you have to take a walk through! At the end you can drink amazing coffee in Quo Vadis Cafe!
Incredible place. Havent seen anything like it. Doesnt take long to walk through but definitely worth it. We took a horse and buggy ride here from Kazimierz Dolny, so fun!
An interesting site and about 20 min of walk both ways. Id recommend to avoid it in a bad weather.
Beautiful but a bit crowded. Be prepared for little chance to get your perfect pic unless you come early or late.
it may be a little bit off the main trail where the ruins and three crosses are; but its worth it. Cool trail where the old roots of trees are exposed.
Its a part of an excursion to Kazimierz Dolny. A small walk, about 700 m. in a stroller path among huge tree roots.Wonderful...
it is a narrow george like pathway covered by trees on both sides. the roots of the trees are exposed. that gives the pleasure of seeing and hiking through the pathway. it is created through natural erosion of soil. only difficult time is during heavy raining when the ground becomes muddy.
Great natural gorge that was created in loess soil. It looks like a moment ago there was a running water as the walls are vertical and each tree shows most of its roots. Worth to see.
I had a great walk with my aunt, nice place to shoot a pics
Beautiful views and atmosphere
Very nice place, small and very easy to take a walk as its very small place, if you got the time go and check the place I recommed if you want 1 day trip
Definitely worth to visit. I will go here one more time for sure. Just do not forget proper foot wear 😊
