Awesome fun for kids of all ages, whether they want to get wet or stay dry!

First time & will definitely come back again. Had so much fun!

Water world is snow world during the water months (till mid August). Every sessions is 45mins with 15mins break before the next session. There are 3 slides which one is only for toddlers, a speedy tube and the main slide that can fit 2 to 3 people.My kids had fun, but 1 session was more than enough as the place isnt all that big.Theres also an outdoor jungle gym.

A feast for the children. Even the snow was a wonderful experience for everybody. Brilliant engineering. Save environment and very caring staff. Parents must remember that they are responsible for their own children and we cannot expect the staff to do our jobs. If we go there we have to deal with our own children. This is an entertaining area and not a crèche where we put all the responsibilities on the staff. They are excellent as it is already. Lovely atmosphere and well organized and excellently maintained. Thank you.

We actually stopped like just beforeclosing time just to check the place out and come back a next time as we were exploring Strand.... Well to our surprise, the owner or manager meet and greet us and he have the loviest aura of goodness surrounding him. He invited us to actually come and take a slide for free... Man oh man... It was so much fun and shouting... So yes its a great placefor kids and adults and its beautiful. The people assisting, oh its just a continuation of a love service from Manager right down to those he oversee....Prices I think varies from R20- maybe 40/50 rands, but so affordable...

Snow expo not very well facilitated. Had a few girls together to celebrate and no details were explained when we arrived. 2 of the 5 girls totally missed their "allotted" times as we dis not know what to expect

Not that great. We went for the snow which was very underwhelming. Two slides and thats about it. Not worth the drive at all.

We visited the beach beside Waterworld. The water is always a nice bearable temperature. No shelter though. So bring you own parasol/sun umbrella

A fun place for kids and adults. Awesome waterslides and great venue for parties. There is also a great outdoor play area. We visited during winter as the water slides were turned into snow slides. Brilliant concept and fun times. There is free parking outside but is prime at peak times. There is a great tuck shop selling hot food and refreshments.

Snowworld is also now part of Waterworld in Strand Beach Rd. Amazing place for the children and parents, especially during the school holidays! Snowworld will be open till 14 Aug. 2022. Take your grandchildren and children to experience the fun!

They created a new Snow world adventure park. Great fun, nice ice slides and snow.The kids enjoyed it so much there

We loved it - especially my kids, They had their birthday party there and would love having it there every year.

Lovely place for the kids in a safe and secure outdoor venue...kids had a blast...besides the water slides, the place offers other activities and amenities to keep the kids busy, like an obstacle course and soccer pitch

Nice place, but a little pricey. Unfortunately we were there kn a cloudy day and missed the cool playground. But I am not quite sure if we would pay the entry a second time

Great place for families to have fun while being safe.The owner and staff are extremely welcoming and look after their clients.

Well maintained, clean and child safe. The staff are focused on safety (ie not distracted by phones or small talk). Rides are aimed at kids, so if you are after an adrenilin rush, this is not for you.

My kids love this place, the can go on the slides, and play on the obstacle course, in relative safety. Lifeguards on site and on duty all the time. Basic meals, drink and snacks available, and pretty decent coffee as well for mom and dad. Shaded sitting areas, with tables and benches. Good spot for kids parties, but I would recommend booking if you plan on having a party there, they seem to be pretty busy.

I still love this place. My boys spent the morning with the homeschoolers and all had a blast!

Been taking my daughter and her friends for a number of years now. They always have fun both in and out of the water.There is a designated swim area for younger children and then of course the bigger slides for the more adventurous ones. They also have a big jungle gym and play area for the kids to play on/in.Plenty of seating available or picnic on the grass. Nice shady areas under trees🌳. You can bring your own food and drinks but there are certain items not allowed which you can view on their website. Basically glass bottles, alcohol, fireworks... Anything that is or can be dangerous or harmful.The restaurant does not have a major variety of food available but then... You are coming to have fun in the sun🌞 and water🌊 not dine out. We quite enjoy their fries, pizza, toasted samies and lets not forget SLUSH PUPPIES! 😁😋🍕🍟🌭🥪🍦☕🧃🍔🍬🥤They also cater for kids birthday parties. 🥳🎂🤡 Information available on their website or just ask about it when you are there.If you are looking for a fun outing with the kids, then this is most definitely an option. Mom can relax with a book (catch up on that tan)while dad acts like one of the kids!I have always found the owner and his staff very friendly and helpful. We really enjoy visiting.

Wow,wow,wow! Very very nice place for your kids even for adults. Lifesavers on duty very aware of their surroundings and always keeping an eye on your kids. Place is neatly kept and enough shade for those extra warm days. This is gonna be my new hang-out spot for after-school things with the kids😉😊.... Well done guys! Keep up the good work.

Very fun day and great fun was had. Unfortunately there will always be a bad apple in the bunch and management did not deal with the situation very well. Would of been a 5 star.Maybe next time.

Great place to spend time outdoors and have fun with the kids for a few hours, half day or all day! Facilities caters for all ages, we enjoyed the slides and the kids had a blast. Splash pools are kiddy sized depth. Jungle gyms and jumping castles are on site when you need a break. You can bring along your own food or buy some snacks, cold or hot beverages on site. Reasonable price rates

We had an excellent time with family at Waterworld Strand! Entrance fee extremely reasonable. Lots for kids to do! They enjoyed the kids play area, the waterslides and the pools. We had a lovely lazy rest on the loungers. Lots of green grass and trees available for picnics.

Still open and still great value for money. There is something for every age group. The attendants and lifesavers are friendly and look afrer the welfare of the kids.Great coffee for the adults and the fare fir the kids is decent.You might as well do the 2hour entrance. The kids just keep going.

An awesome place for friends and family to relax, unwind, while having the thrills of multiple water slides, as well as an obstacle course, climbing wall and sand pit for playing ball games. Food, ice cream and coffee to order. An ideal place for birthday parties, that you can cater or use their menu options. Toilet facilities available. Multiple water facility life guards and staff keeping an eye on safe play and rules are followed. Have a wonderful, water filled day or part there of.... with life jackets for the little ones... Safety First.

There are slides and pools for any age and the staff never take their eyes off the children. It really it a great place to spend with the family.

A big yes for the kids!Positives : the soccer field, the slides, the jungle gym, the price and the stretchers provided at the waterpark. I love that you can take your own food. As well.Not so cool : The restaurant at the venue is expensive and not tasty at all so try take your own food. The toilets are hmm, very basic and slightly dirty. The jacuzzi for adults is small and not moving water (eek).It costs R90 for an observer which is a little pricey for just sitting there.The kids still have a great time and will love you for spending the day there.

So much fun for the whole family! Kids have a choice of waterslides or dry play area. Small restaurant available for food and drinks. Reasonably priced for a whole day of fun

Expensive, but well managed. Good choice for a full day outing if you have kids.

We spent the whole day at Water World but it felt like an hour. Great for kids and adults alike. No alcohol is allowed. There are loads of seating from picnic tables to a bar like bench at the kiosk and even grass to catch a tan. There is a lovely beach just around the corner if you would like to take a break. You can go in and out the whole day if you purchase a day pass. There are also 2 hour passes as an option if you dont want to spend the whole day. There are clean wendy house toilets where you and the kids can change into something dry and a range of activities from zip line to volleyball on the same premises. It is very safe for all children as the lifeguards are extremely safety cautious. Very friendly staff and great food choices at the kiosk for everyone.

Spent the whole day at Water World in Strand today. Water slides were running well and non potable water was used. It was clean. There were lifeguards in attendance and they spervised the crowd efficiently. Well organised. Five water slides catered for all ages as well as adults. Set in a cove like setting with trees and enough tables in the shade for everyone. No need for umbrellas. Outdoor Playplace, mini soccer in soft sand and a mini zipline for children. Clean toilets which used borehole water. Refreshments on sale at the well stocked cafe. Pizzas available and freshly made. Food was not Halaal but easily solved as there is a KFC and Burger King nearby or bring your own food. Tea and coffee on sale. A Jacuzzi for adults only. You can come in and go out as you please if you purchase a day pass which was reasonable. If you are tired of the waterslides then you can safely leave all your non valuables on your table and walk about 5 minutes to the beach. Strand beach has the most lovely powdery soft sand. No reserved parking but the seems to be plenty in the side streets. Just respect private parking spaces of residentials. Although wheel chair friendly entrance going to the toilets might be a problem. Please confirm with management.

Great fun for the kids, they always love it. Buying snacks and cool drinks is very expensive though and you cant bring in your own, otherwise it would be 5 stars.
