Nice way to learn a bit about the history of Waterford and Dungarvan.
Volunteer run museum, open Monday to Friday. Nicely laid out exhibition, free admission. This museums strong point is the local knowledge and access to local historians it affords. They are happy to help with genealogical queries. If they havent an answer, theyll point you in the direction of someone who does.

If you are interested in local history this is the museum for you. Of particular interest to people whose ancestors emigrated from West Waterford. The friendly, knowledgeable staff are more than happy to help with genealogical queries.
