Water Apartamentos in Granada
Description
A well located apartment away from the main streets which makes for a great quiet place for a stay. We stayed 4 nights and found it comfortable and sufficient for that period. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need when you don’t feel like dining out (coffee shops and bars aren’t a far walk). The bathrooms are of good size and the showers are a good pressure. The wifi at times was a bit slow or dropped out.
MoreGreat stay for the price we received, wifi was not up to standard. Great selection of kitchen utensils and full fridge/freezer. We extended a night for the comfort.
MoreStaff is friendly, room is clean and big but without washing machine installed.
We had a problem with the room key as there was no one at the reception, we had to call the emergency phone number and the contact person, in addition to not being in the city, spoke to us in a very unpleasant way and told us all the time that we were being recorded by the cameras. The treatment of the contact person towards us was very unpleasant. We will not repeat experience in these facilities as we are very upset. Due to the management of this person, not only was the problem not solved, but we annoyed other hotel users by not receiving the appropriate information about the key.
MoreAna at the reception said early check-in was not possible and asked us to come at 3PM. Fine. Thus we decided to have lunch in a restaurant. Then she asked us to come immediately at 2.20 PM. We wanted to finish having lunch but she refused and said if we were not there at 2.30 PM she would be gone. Fortunately, the restaurant was close enough to rush to the hotel. The two other times we went to the reception, including checkout, we felt we were disturbing Ana (hand signal not to enter the reception, we just had to wait with no information). Ana is obviously both busy and rude.
MoreThe location is spectacular. The room had been recently refurbished to the highest standard. Our apartment was extremely comfortable and contained all the amenities we needed. The service we received from Ana, from making the booking, during our stay and until we checked out, was stupendous: she was friendly, helpful and available whenever we needed her, she really helped make our stay special. She took the time to engage with our children which made them feel welcome. We loved the apartment and wished we had stayed longer! Protocols were all in place to deal with Covid and the kids were proud to be the first users of the new pool!
MoreBed Bugs ! And I had hair on my sheet ...Omg stay away! I woke up with a rash, well I thought it’s an allergy but it was bed bugs and the staff knows about it because the room definitely smelled like chemicals.... they shouldn’t be spreading bed bugs but need to shut down the hostel until they get rid of them for good... they are just spreading them all other the world since so many people stay here, very irresponsible of the management
MoreAll of the staff make this a good place. . Very friendly and helpful. . Kitchen is well stocked with Pans etc big fridge. . Beds are really comfortable. .
MoreGreat hostel . Good location and staff. Very clean. Nice courtyard to hangout in. Kitchen had everything you needed. great Stay!
More2 nights at granada backpackers was satisfying. It allowed me to enjoy granada to its fullest, being at an excellent location and having helpful staffs. The beds were clean, the breakfast provided were good.
MoreWe had an amazing time the family really enjoyed their stay. The team are friendly helpful and serve you well. The court yard is perfect for big families spacious clean, lovely . Anna , Emanuel, and Marta have been wonderful 5 stars.
MoreWe had our own rooms for this hostel so we didn’t share with anybody else which was nice. We had two rooms, 6 bunk beds, one bathroom and a kitchen. It might feel a little crowded but it worked out. The staff is amazing which is available 24/7. You get key cards to go in and out of the establishment. We needed our bus passes to be printed out and they were kind enough to help us buy them and print them for us. Breakfast is included in the morning for free. There’s a community area where people can just talk and socialize which is nice.
MoreAmazing room for the price. Comfortable beds. We stayed in a double room which was HUGE. It was equipped with a kitchenette and a fridge. Loved the service of the staff as well. Highly recommended. Its close to all the attractions and the bus stop.
MoreVery nice rooms with AC. There could be a bit more space in the fridges, but theyve got the best breakfast in Granada!
MoreSuper! Rooms and social areas clean. The entire structure of the hostel is very good! Thanks Daniel and Javier for helping always so friendly.
MoreOnly just worth the money for this hostel. Not much atmosphere. Kitchen is quite nice but rarely kept clean. Fridges were disgusting and there was obviously food from weeks ago still in the fridge. Rooms were set out terribly as I booked a 10 person room, when I arrived there were 6 people in one room and a door opened into a joined room with 4 people and the bathroom. It felt as if the 4 person room had the bathroom all to themselves and I was often not let into the bathroom by the people in the 4 person room. Breakfast is free so can’t expect much but would be nice to at least have enough plates/bowls/cups for everyone. There was also a men’s football group and several families with small children. This is probably not the best hostel for solo travel. Two people in my room checked out and 2 days later, their beds still weren’t made and cleaned by housekeeping. Apart from that, it’s not the worst hostel but I won’t stay again.
MoreI liked this hostel. There are many positive aspects I can give. For instance, lovely personnel, good location, clean place and very cool garden. The only problem is that If you are staying on the top floor of the bunk bed, you cannot hold the phone near you while charging. In addition, breakfast is included in your stay but you do not expect too much for breakfast :)
MoreVery clean quietanza and Central hostel.Used by young traveller and lonely travellersRooms are great as well as people at the reception desk. Breakfast i normal and includ d in the price. There are many many interesting activities proposed by the hostel and the patio ti meet people is woundeful. I forum sure will stay here if i come back aroung Granada.
MoreThe Hostel looks great, but thats it at all. We checked in as a group with 8 people in this hostel. As first they couldnt give us 8 Keys for a 8 Bedroom because they had not enough ( rent an 8 bed room but dont have 8 keys? Housekeeping didnt changed the towels and let us the old Handtowels from the guests before. The the night watchman is very unfriendly, was complaining about the noises of eating chips. All in all i will never visit this Hostel again and for sure i would never recomand this Hostel. Your employees need to be more flexible, more friendly and better trained!!!!!
MoreThe hostel was nice, but everything else was terrible. First, they secretly try to charge you €5 to check in unless you put your information a few more times on some half working website. Second, I tried to extend and the receptionist told me there were plenty of beds, but wouldnt let me extend. Told me I had to wait til the morning. In the morning, they were full. Thanks to it being holiday weekend, had heaps of trouble trying to find a bed the same day.
MoreBeds were comfortable, but bathroom situation was less than ideal as one bathroom (ie one lock with both the single sink, toilet, and shower insideper eight beds led to some tension at night and in the mornings. Check in process is a bit slow.
MoreThe place is really nice and located in de Center. The Hostel is really big and you can meet a Lot of people. They also offer some tours and organize reunion with other people from the Hostel to Drink Sangria, so you will not stay alone for a long time if u dont want to...I gave 4 Stars because theres a minus for cleanness. The bathroom was always flooded with water because the shower is not dense and the Toilette, sink and shower was Not really clean. But I stayed in a 12 people dorms, so its clear that many people use it and cleanness depends also on teir behaviour. From the Hostel the bathroom was cleaned every morning.Ine thing more bothered me a Bit, the Hostel is big and sometimes its really loud. They also give shelter to schoolclassses, stag parties (they only started in the Hostel but celebrated outside of courseand big groups in general like Musik Orchesters. Simetimes they Made a Lot of noise, but only for a while then they went outside. It was Not too much Party in the Hostel inside. All in all I had a grate week and met many nice people, the City is stunning and I felt very comfortable in the Hostel however it was a 12er dorm. I would cone back!!!
MoreNice place... I would recommend it to everyone. The beds are comfy and the staff are really kind and always glad to help. I definitely will stay there again.
MoreReally good Hostel. The breakfast is not bad but it is included so it is apprciated. The beds are comfy and the facilities were clean and spacious.
MoreGreat option for budget spenders. Clean, safe, and friendly. Breakfast is included but options are pretty limited if you have allergies. Nearby access to a few express food marts can solve that, though. Overall, a good experience.
MoreAn overall slightly-better-than-average hostel. The free breakfast is only toast, coffee, and tea. Its close to the center but just off one of the main streets in an alley. Quiet location (I dont know if thats because its the off-season or the location). The offer some nice tours of the historic center, flamenco, and the communities of Albaicin and Sacromonte (I took and liked the Albaicin/Sacromonte one). The facilities are a little dirty, however. People dont clean up after themselves in the kitchen so it gets a messy and greasy. They only clean it once a day but they really should clean it more often.
MoreStayed in February. Small common area, the Great court yard was still too cold at night. Bathroom was fine tho my room wasnt full. Very easy to find and walk to all the attractions
MoreBest hostel Ive stayed at by far. Incredibly clean, friendly staff, breakfast included, nice courtyard to spend time in. Staying in January my friend and I got a whole 8 bed dorm to ourselves with fridge, stove, and en suite bathroom.
MoreGreat place! The shower was disgusting because it couldn’t drain, therefore flooding the bathroom. Other than that, it was a great experience. Beds were very comfy, staff was kind of rude.
MoreProbably one of the most unconfortable hostel Ive been. The courtyard is amazing and the hostel is well maintained. Unfortunately there are not enough toilets for the number of guests and we always had to queue or going downstairs in the toilet of the kitchen. Moreover the staff was not very helpful when some drunk guests started to disturb the dormitory in the middle of the night. What a pity because the building is nice
MoreThe hostel is very quiet, what many guests will like (i didnt, so if you wanna make party go somewhere else), the price was good, a had a nice room with a comfortable bed and just 3 roommates. if you wanna talk or get to know other people its really annoying that the receptionist closes living room and the citchen at 23:00, so dont have possibilty to stay somewhere exept your room (i was there in winter, when it too cold to sit outsideIn total a nice stay for quiet people :D
MoreBest value for money hostel! I had free upgrade because I had the reservation directly through their web site! Elisa at the reception she welcomes you with a beautiful "French" smile 😊Very nice breakfast
Morethis hostel is probably nice, the location is perfect for the Alhambra, the supermarket, the walking tours...but I had a problem with my not refundable reservation, I was told there was no availability and forced to book another place more expensive and much worse. I cancelled the reservation, this hostel sold again two of the three nights that I have booked, but they refused to refund me a single cent. they didnt offer me to host me for the nights when there was availability, they kept all money even if they sold the same bed twice. they just want money without giving any service
MoreThe location is good, the rooms are nice, and the beds are comfortable, but when interacting with the staff I always felt like I was inconveniencing them, which didn’t make me feel really welcomed or want to interact with anyone else because the tone was already set. There’s much to be said about hostels that go above an beyond making guests feel welcomed with simple gestures like recommendations not where to eat, etc. It far outweighs the quality of the rooms, location, and beds.
MoreHad a wonderful time!Granada Inn has a very nice staff, an amazing patio, comfortable beds and the location is perfect to fully enjoy the city.Thank you so much for making me feel welcome!
MoreGreat location, very clean at the beginning of my stay but cleanliness wasnt great by the end of the week. Central courtyard is lovely, hostel has a great layout and the larger dorm rooms are separated into smaller rooms which is good.
MoreIt’s better than most hostels in term of space. Even though we chose the 10 bed mixed dorm, it didn’t feel cramped. The location close to the city center is a good one. I would say that the breakfast was a disappointment with only bread and cereal.
MoreCheap hostel (august 17€ for one night), free breakfast in the morning from 8 to 10. Many different types of offers for the evening, like infinite sangria for 5€. Not too much crowded and juvenile. Large beds.Bad things to report: low hygene, the room was not so clean, even after the work of the operators.Shared bathrooms, but in a strange way. To reach the bathroom from one room you have to pass trought another room with other beds. So it feels like entering a room of someone else. Not regulable conditioned air.Very distant from the alhambra (25 minutes walk or 6€ by taxi), but not so far from the centre. There is not a near free car park. The nearest car park has a price for a day of 22,80€.
MoreCons: No hot water in female dorm shower, breakfast is just bread and cold cereal. It would be nice if there were shelves and lights for each of the beds (standard in most hostels). Only one shower and toilet per room.PROS: Good location. Staff were very friendly. Kitchen is big. AC is strong but there is no remote in the room so you have to ask the staff to change settings. Near grocery stores and buses. The place was very quiet at night which was great. Very affordable.
MoreCould very easily be a 5 star place, but they are missing out on the social vibe. The hostel is a great building with fantastic amenities, but the staff dont really do much to make it a lively place.
MoreWe met some amazing people from Argentina! the breakfast place and the kitchen is extremely homely and comfortable. Staff is very welcoming! Definitely recommend the place!
MoreAir conditioned rooms with excellent bathrooms; beautiful courtyard where you can relax and meet people until 2300; great location for access to downtown and the Arab Quarter; a reasonable walk to Alhambra; a very enjoyable experience!
MoreGranada Inn is a great hostel, with friendly staff and comfortable facilities. It is located near the city center and you call get to lots of sightseeings within minutes.Light breakfast is included in the price. The place is very quiet, they pay special attention to the quietude of the neighborhood. There is a lovely patio in the middle with always running water.
MoreThe place is clean and the location is pretty good and near the tourist sites. But it lacks the social component of hostels. No happy hours, the lounge is too big and people dont really interact with each other.
MoreI stayed in the Inn for two nights. I stayed in the female deluxe rooms, because I was travelling alone and felt more comfortable only sharing the room with other girls. I dont think this is necessary and I am planing on going for mixed rooms the next time. You can look the bathroom door separately and all the people I came across in the Inn were extremly nice.I can only say good things about my stay in the Inn. It is located in a quiet street, but it only takes abozt five minutes per foot to reach the city center. It is just of one of teh bigger streets in Granada and that makes it super easy to find. I am not good with directions, but was still able to find the Inn without Google maps from pretty much everywhere in the city. Because it was not on a main street, I could not hear any street noise in my room. The noiselevel is also super nice otherwise. Night rest is at 11 pm and it was usally quiet at 15 past the latest. Even before that it was quiet enough in my room to sleep even though I was on ground level right next to the meeting area. The rooms were clean and spacious. You have to share the bathroom with six others so that can be a little tricky but if you are a bit flexible it is completely doable. The rooms and the rest of the Inn are very nicley decorated and I especially enjoyed the outdoor area that could be covered. Unfortunately it was a little cold for that in February, but there also was a heated common room/kitchen where you could be.Servicewise we had a little kitchen in our room with a sink and a small stove as well as all the dishes you need to cook and eat simple meals. However the stove in our room didnt work. There is also a common kitchen where everyone can cook and that one was working perfectly and had all the things you would need.In the bathroom we had one little towel but the big ones you have to bring yourself as well as shampoo, shower gel ect. I far as I recall there also wasnt a hairdryer available but I could be wrong about that as I didnt really look for one. Warm water works perfectly. There were enough outlets for six persons but not every bed had access to one. The lookers in the room were big enough for a handbag and some important thing but my carry on suitcase did not fit in there. Also make sure to bring your own lock if you want to look up your stuff. The staff was very nice and helpful. There were different activities going on everyday. The offered dinner for 5 € and a all you can drink offer as well as a pub crawl. I did not parttake in any of those so I cant rate them. I did however participate in the walking tour which the promote at the hostel and would highly recommend them to anyone. All in all I loved tbe Inn and would come back. If you are looking for accommodation in Granada I would defiantly recommended the Granada Inn (or Backpackers Inn Granada).
MoreThe hostel has a lovely courtyard which makes for a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Location is great and rooms are clean.
MoreAs others have already mentioned, the hostel is clean, the outside patio area is nice - very chilled vibe - and the rooms had lockers (not sure if they rent out padlocks as I brought my own), the free breakfast is a definite plus.It felt more like a b&b than a hostel but that could be because I only stayed 2 nights and didnt get the chance to socialise as much. They only have 2 public shower rooms which could be an issue if youre sharing the room with a lot of people.
MoreExcellent hostel in a great location. Rooms and bathrooms are the cleanest ive ever stayed in at a hostel. Big open courtyard where lots of guests hang out, its very easy to meet new people. Staff is very friendly and the activities offfered are great and fairly priced!
MoreThis is a great hostel. The staff are friendly, warm and informative. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. They provide a locker free of charge as well. They provide free walking tours everyday. I would highly recommend it to backpackers traveling alone or in groups- they have these cool apartments you can book!
MoreI am currently staying at the Granada Inn Backpackers for my second night. This is without a doubt the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. There is a beautiful open courtyard with tables for people to hang out. A great kitchen with nice computers and free Internet. I highly recommend you book the private double room. It is an attic apartment (literally could be an apartmentwith a terrace overlooking to courtyard and a brand new, very fancy bathroom. The price and location also cant be beat, we walked to the very top of the Alhambra ticket office this morning in about 30 minutes. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well!
