Beautiful people beautiful beach
Great prices, for best booking and great experience book with elate holidays Watamu. They offer great services.
MoreThe boat ride around mid creek 💯. Lunch at waka waka island and the girima dance? 150% !!!
MoreThe place is awesome alot of corals reef, nice sand beaches, beautiful diving sites, verities of ocean sports, a dhow trip at the creek also available and you can witness sundowner, the park has varieties of local food and above all security is always at high level cause the park is guarded by Kenya Wildlife Service marines Rangers to ensure safety and security measures for the visitors for that worry not. Watamu Marine National Park and Reserve is the place to visit 😍💕
MoreThe Park is not well taken care of, the controls are not efficient. In the evening the tides can get very high and pose a challenge to safety. Before boarding or making payments for the boat ride be sure you have contacted the right person as you can be easily be mislead.Otherwise the scenic view is great, the glass boat ride to Wakawaka Island, the seafood and traditional dance at the Island gave us a memorable experience. Captain Ali was our guide and he was excellent.
MoreAwesome loved every minute
The best marine Park in East Africa.
Had a good experience snorkelling. Unfortunately I didnt get to see the dolphins... Wasini / Kisite Mpunguti marine park is way better and thrilling
MoreService was good at the Marine Park Offices. However, if you are planning on going on a boat ride ensure you talk with the captains directly. Beware of brokers
MoreGot to see baby sharks close to the shore. Got to see dolphins! Clean of plastic. I especially love that the people who are at the park are serious about keeping it plastic-free and actually protecting the coral. Water is in recyclable bottles. Not expensive, about Ksh. 200 or so for entry into the park (For Kenyansand boat rides offered for a half or full day (Id advice you take the full day, its quite an experiencefrom around Ksh. 2,500 full day which includes lunch (full dayThis meal was EVERYTHING! Served on an island, Prepared by the local community. Sea food in plenty, you can opt for chicken if seafood doesnt float your boat. Fruits and soft drinks as well. Totally worth it. To top it all off, you can go on a canoe ride into the mangrove filled channels for about Ksh. 500 and theres a special Giriama dance for all. Awesome, awesome experience.PS: This info is from a visit on the last week of March, 2022.
MoreWe had a lovely boat ride with the Hemmingways Dhow. There was drinks and snacks as we watched the sunset. I would have loved a bit of music 🎶
MoreYou will love the white sandy beaches, the people here are sooo warm, and very welcoming. Loved the dolphins and snorkeling
MoreGood experience. Fantastic view.
The customer service is of high quality, meals are very delicious 😋 👌, the environment welcoming and alot of adventures....
MoreSeeing dolphins is not guaranteed. We did not see them despite being assured 80% probability.
MoreSeeing the dolphins do their thing was, to me, the major highlight! Other highlights were getting to see and learn about eels, colorful fish, other sea creatures and of course walking on the pristine white sandy beaches. Great place for a full-day tour.
MoreMagnificent place to be,just peaceful, the waters are wow, the people are friendly and snorkeling is good
MoreThis would be a dream destination. The snorkeling is amazing, a whole different world in the sea.Dolphins is a sight you would never want to miss.
MoreRare fish, great ride, great barbeque...missed the dolphines though..
Best experience ever, the view of the dolphin 🐬 😍 👌 , snorkeling, a swim 🏊♀️ 😀 and walk on the reef was amazing 👏. The rate was only ksh 1,500 for the 5hrs activities. I would recommend this anytime you visit watamu . Its a walking distance from Turtle Bay villas, turtle Bay resort and hemmingways watamu. There are more villas around where you can get very nice accommodation as well as AirBnBs.
MoreThe experience was out of this world❤️Seeing the difference types of fish swimming right below you was phenomenal! The corals are simply breathtaking ⚡🤍There are Dolphins too!!!! ( Discalaimer, you have to get to the park early so that you can catch a glimpse of the dolphins, if its after twelve, dont let the boat guys talk you into going claiming that youll see the dolphins cause theyd be lying to you!Be there as early as 8am for the ultimate experience!!!⚡Out of all the places I have visited... This was the most beautiful!
MoreOne thing that stands out most certainly in watamu is the pristine white sandy beaches and crystal clear sea water changing from blue to emerald green. No wonder it attracts so many foreigners and locals too. There is also the reef and creek and the occasional sightings of dolphins as well
MoreYou get to see the dolphins, watch the coloured coral reef , snolkelling and enjoy the clean sunny beach

MoreWas established in around 1968.It is located about 140 km north of Mombasa, Kenyas second largest city. Its coral gardens are merely 300 metres from the shore and are home to approximately 600 species of fish, 110 species of stony coral and countless invertebrates, crustaceans and molluscs. From research the Water temperature varies from 20 degrees Celsius around June to November to 30 degrees Celsius around December to May. The park was designated as a biosphere reserve in 1979. It one among the best. 😍😍😍😍. I must revisit the place again
MoreIt is one of Kenya’s best marine park that has a rich and diverse birdlife, fish, turtles, dugongs, the lizard buzzard and other marine animals. It is a perfect place to enjoy the sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean, snorkelling, water skiing, windsurfing and glass-bottomed boat tours.
MoreIf you dont have a full day to spend in the marine park, its well worth spending an hour on a canoe exploring the mangroves.
MoreNice coral reefs for photo shoots and best oceanic breeze while swimming
Went for a boat ride, swam with the dolphins, snorkeling the zebra fish 🐠😁😁😁, we went round and it was like a whole day experience... Made a stop over at garoda before proceeding to Sudi Island where we had sumptuous meals.... We had a very good experience... You have to go there to experience it
MoreEnjoyed swimming with dolphins, garado beach to the lunch...
Beautiful coast of Kenya, full of nature, clear crystal water with sandy beaches. Snorkeling is a must to see corals and swim with all the colourful fish surrounded with dolphins.
MoreNice place to vizit and has variety of hotels along the beach.
Great spot for snokelling. There is lots of fish to be seen. Plcross fingers for the water to be clear though😏There are plenty of boats that will take you for a ride for about $25 per person.
MoreWhite sandy beach, friendly locals and pocket friendly. If you want a dedicated guide, try the Sorpresso boats. You will never regret. For a full day pay (3k), you get to see the dolphins, snorkeling (they provide gears), if youre lucky youll see small sharks. Them youll have sea food for lunch then back at the park. A full day is from 9am to 4pm. Very worth it!
