วัดพิกุลทองวัดหลวงพ่อแพ ศรัทธาแห่งเมือง สิงห์บุรีวัดพิกุลทอง ชาวบ้านมักเรียกว่า วัดหลวงพ่อแพ (พระเทพสิงหบุราจารย์ เจ้าคณะจังหวัดสิงห์บุรี ที่วัดนี้มีพระพุทธรูปปางประทานพร องค์ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศไทย คือ พระพุทธสุวรรณมงคลมหามุนี ขนาดหน้าตักกว้าง 11 วา 2 ศอก 7 นิ้ว สูง 21 วา 1 คืบ 3 นิ้ว ภายในเป็นคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กประดับด้วยโมเสกทองคำธรรมชาติชนิด 24 เค เป็นวัดที่ชาวบ้านศรัทธาเลื่อมใสมากเพราะหลวงพ่อแพ อดีตเจ้าอาวาส เป็นพระที่ชาวบ้านเคารพรักมาก ท่านได้ทำประโยชน์ แก่พุทธศาสนาไว้มากมายเป็นวัดที่สวยตั้งแต่ถนนที่วิ่งเข้าวัดแล้ว บริเวณวัดยังมีสวนธรรมะ ที่สวยงาม มีต้นไม้ใบหญ้าเขียวขจีสบายตา แวดล้อมด้วยบรรยากาศสงบร่มรื่น เย็นสบาย สะอาด วัดได้รับการดูแลรักษาอย่างดี สภาพสมบูรณ์น่าเที่ยว และมีบ่อน้ำที่มีปลาชุกชุมให้อาหารได้ที่บริเวณด้านทางเข้าหน้าวัด

This is a temple I must visit whenever I am in Ayutthaya.The temple ground is divided into two parts by a road. One part is the Ubosot where the main Buddha is enshrined. There is also a place for us to pay respect to Luang Phu Pae.The other part of the temple ground is the big Buddha image, big Sangkazai and a Pikanet. You can see a big image of LP Pae in the wiharn next to the big Buddha.

you can really see that they have invested so much into this temple with their landmark as a large bhuda statue. there is also a viewing point that overlooks the whole scenery.

Very beautiful temple with an impressive entrance. The temple understands that families visit temples together in Thailand, and there designated selfie spots for you to take photos, including props like straw hats. I really enjoyed strolling around the pretty temple grounds and yes, taking a couple of selfies.

Well maintained temple. Lots of activities here from homage to fig feeding. This temple is quite famous from one beloved monk.

Lovely temple between Singburi and Ang Thong. Very well looked after and spacious layout. Best temple for many miles and well worth a visit. Has large lake and pick nick areas plus play areas for children. Good food stands offer good cheap food plus a variety of shops selling all you would want. A lovely temple and awesome Big Buddha. Well worth a half day visit.

A beautiful setting with a large golden Buddha. The avenue leading to the temple is quite majestic. There are flower gardens offering plenty of photo opportunities in the right seasons.

We visited this place yesterday.Its Songkran time so we had free drinks and food that made us enjoy the day.We also had a chance to see the one of the biggest Buddha in Thailand.

Stunning temple grounds. Big and beautiful. But! I didnt see anything to do with Pikul Thong. Thats my favorite Thai fairy tale!

Singburi s own Royal Temple. Two great buddaha in Thai and Chinese style. Many merit making opportunity including a long walk with Buddha history, feeding the fishes
