Contemporary bar & restaurant with patio seating serving New American fare & craft cocktails.
Great food and service! Were from Castroville TX for my mother in laws 90TH BIRTHDAY BASH! It was awesome!
Absolutely delicious. The short rib poutine should be illegal! The Elk chops were wonderful, short rib dinner is meat candy, and all the veg was cooked perfectly. We will back.
Service was great. Drinks were very good.Loved my Bison Steak. Menu has some options you cant get just anywhere. Highly recommend.
Our group of 5 came in between 4:45 & 6:46 pm on a Tuesday. Service was slow and food was mediocre. We even had to get our own napkins and silverware because food was brought before table service. Waitress got the side veggie wrong and we got hot peppers instead of squash… (?!)
Food and drunk is very good. Especially, Peach signature drunk on menu and the jumbo shrimp or tri tip sandwich. The restaurant has NO decor at all, just tables and chairs. Maybe that is the theme? Staff friendly, clean.
Fantastic venison patty melt with crunchy waffle fries. I had a side of the rib which they cleverly added to the melt to make it unforgettable 😋
Really enjoyed the food here. Appreciated their “healthy” options were inspired and varied (keto bowls, protein bowls), while also having some quality comfort dishes with an upscale flare.
Staff. Price. Location (around the corner from the coop). Quality of food. This place is stellar. Indoor//Outdoor seating. Best Post Burning man meal I’ve ever experienced. The poutine is to die for. Gastronomique perfection.
Went for apps and a drink. The server we had was very nice but the service itself was slow. We got the pork belly egg rolls, the charcuterie board for 4, waffle fries, and the Irish nachos. The pork belly egg rolls were delicious. The Irish nachos werent anything to write home about. Could have gone to Chick Fil-a, ordered some waffle fries, added melted cheese, bacon, and sour cream and it would be the same thing. The charcuterie board was a joke. The best items were the pickled vegetables and of those there were a couple each of a slice of carrot, cauliflower, and onion. There was a cat food consistency spread that tasted of spicy smarties or spicy fruit punch Kool aid. We couldnt decide which specifically it tasted like. It was apparently some type of meat product. There was a fourth of a peach sliced thinly, grain mustard, well charred sliced baguette, a few slices of salami, and three kinds of cheese. For four people it was small and overpriced. Total bill for the four food items and a beer was almost $70 before tip. Will not be coming here again.
I was able to get a reservation online. We were promptly seated and served. The curried lettuce wraps had great flavor and the washoe burger was big enough to split with the salad, which was light and fresh. The tacos were spicy but plain, and tortillas were cold. The service slowed after the food was delivered. I would return.
The folks at Washoe fit our bachelor party in for dinner even though we ran 20 minutes late on our reservation and it was the last hour of their operations that evening. I was stressed planning this weekend for my brother and Im grateful that I chose Washoe for our dinner before a night walking the river and gaming. Try the Short Rib Poutine and Charcuterie Board appetizers!
First time here, What a nice place , amazing service. Even with short staff they had only two server to take care of the whole restaurant. Maria was able to keeps us happy. We had Short rib sandwiche, Grilled chicken sandwiche. And Thai chicken wings.
Last year we discovered this fabulous gem of a dining experience! We had to come back and it is still a culinary delight. Most go to place!
Happy hour is definitely worth it. Costco sells the gift cards for this place which gives you $100 for $75 charge. We were lucky and got them for $60 during the plandemic. Come here at least once a month and the service is always great.
Food was mediocre at best. Ill give a 3.89 at best. I rounded up for good faith. Service was great. Atmosphere was very very very basic.
The food here was bomb. Our waitress gave great recommendations and was very attentive. I went with a group of my friends and everything was perfect for us to enjoy our time and food together.
Burger was good, but dry. Oyster po boy was more like a tomato po boy, there were only 3 in the whole sandwich, and they were completely overcooked. Im not even sure they were actually oysters.
Stopped in for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. Got the warm beet salad, wild boar schnitzel and a cocktail. All three were delicious. Was in town trying all the restaurants that had been on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives- this was by far my favorite.
Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, especially in my 8 years in Reno. Our server was Ryan and he took excellent care of us. We had the Irish nachos, tomahawk pork chop and double elk chops. Each dish was beautifully plated and couldn’t have tasted better. We were celebrating our anniversary, so we received a complimentary dessert, in which we chose the lemon cake and it was probably the best I’d ever had. Couldn’t recommend more!
Sat on patio, lots of seating inside and out, with friendly staff. Small plates were great, salad only so-so, but the desserts were phenomenal! Cheesecake not sweet and goey, and homemade graham cookie ice cream sandwich was big enough for two with roasted marshmallow!!!Kid friendly too, even has coloring page menu.
Delicious food, very high quality, made with local organic ingredients, healthy meat options. Service was a little slow, but possibly due to everyone being under staffed post pandemic. Smallish portion on the Salmon over rice left me still a bit hungry.
Delicious food, nice atmosphere, good service and a must try! Outside patio looked nice as well.
We had 16 Guys in our group. Service was outstanding. Everyone talked about how great the food was the next day. Wild boar schnitzel was great. The pork chops also.
Great happy hour. We love that Mac and cheese. They have tons of amazing local beers to choose from, half off. We went for dining week, and the mahi tostada dish was delicious. Ive never seen shaved asparagus on a tostada. Creative and fresh. Im always impressed with this place. Excellent service too.
An excellent location for an upscale casual meal, with an excellent menu and great care taken to the dishes. I took a date there and we had the happy hour menu, that was 6 dollar small plates. It was a wonderful meal, with each dish utterly delightful and nearly perfect in every way.I will be coming here again at some point to experience more. I look forward to my next visit.
Neat little spot. Food was tasty. LARGE portions. We ordered appetizers (Irish fries with pork bellyPork belly egg rolls, The tempura prawns for appetizers. And the venison patty melt ( can not use my opinion I do not eat gamey meat. He said it was good. And the Rock Candy Ribs grilled cheese. The house salad was a bed of mixed greens, spectacular strawberries and thin sliced almonds with their lemon vinegarette. Very very good. And we brought home a lot of leftovers! Service was great also. They have happy hour cocktail prices and small plates of some menu items as well. Recommended for sure. Sorry about the melt and grilled cheese pics. Realized we had not taken a photo after we were enjoying the meal 😬
My husband and I ate here last Saturday. We had the Irish Nachos and the Wings. Both scrumptious!!The Pork Belly Egg Rolls and Ba Mi Sandwich was aweful. Very disappointed. But....The staff and place are nice. Have beautiful local art work to look at and purchase.
Far better than I was expecting!Unique food creations and tastfully crafted cocktails with amazing service. You wont regret visiting!
Went on a busy Saturday night. Our server had a table of at least 12 kids going to prom and our service was still great. Food took a little longer than I had hoped and it took a while to get seated. Other than that I had the catch of the day which was swordfish. The fish was perfectly cooked and the sauce that was on the plate was delicious. Great overall experience I will be back.
We came for a birthday dinner. Our server was Kayla and her service was very polite and highly attentive. All the food was excellent. I had the warm beat salad with salmon which was exceptional. Also, the Irish nachos are not to be missed
What a special find. We scheduled a work lunch and had no idea of the Asian fusion food items. It was a really enjoyable time. Great appetizers especially the chicken wings. The burgers are huge.
We really enjoyed the food. The house pasta special was wonderful, as was the mac and cheese. The egg rolls and prawn tempura were perhaps a bit too oily, but the flavors themselves were great. And the flourless chocolate cake was superb! All in all, a really enjoyable dining experience.
Omg, this place is great. Im not sure how we havent been here before, but I think we may have to go back! The lemon drop cocktail with lavender and Earl gray syrup was amazing. And the creme brulee was lovely, I liked the orange zest in it. The boar schnitzel was inspired. Absolutely great. Thanks! The service was awesome. And to the table next to us who were upset that the gift cards they bought at Costco were causing problems, all the while complaining about the tax rebate on their Tesla, screw you. You cant use your phone as a babysitter then complain that your kids arent putting the phone down.
AMAZING!!!!!!!This restaurant has the best Duck i have ever had. It was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Pork belly with kimchi egg rolls. We also had ye Lamb special. The cream sauce they put on the Lamb was the best thing i have ever had.10-10.
This place was incredibly good. Staff was friendly and was spot on with their recommendations. Got our food out to us very quickly as well.
Everything was great! I love that they serve their beverages in blue glasses! We went there hungry and ordered a lot. We ordered Tempura Shrimp,a Venison Melt, Pork Ribs Poutine, Pork Belly Egg Rolls with kimchee, Charcuterie. It was all delicious! Service is awesome! We will be back!
Service was a little slow at first, but once our waitess came over, it was fantastic. She was attentive and very polite, and the food was excellent. We ordered a bunch of starters and relaxed.
Great food, super friendly and helpful staff. Menu has lots of interesting choices. The ribs poutine is amazing! Starting with the sweet potato waffle fries, topped with delicious gravy, lots of cheese curds, and the rib meat is tender and tasty. The house salad is excellent as well.
Irish Nachos, Jalapeño-Cheddar Fritters, Sticky Thai Chicken Wings... these are a few of my favorite things (at Washoe Public House). Great atmosphere, friendly service, really good food!!
Everything was great and the plates were really nicely balanced. Portions were the right size and all the flavors work together in a really nice way.Irish Nachos are huge and you may or may not need the pork belly. Three cheese sauce always a good thing.
Everyone I was with, half of them liked the cocktails, the other half did not like them and left their drinks at $12.00 each. The food looked delicious but was just ok from what everyone was saying.I probably wouldnt go back and our waitress told us she was leaving before we were finished.
Good was delicious. Tried the boar schnitzel, elk, and pasta. The appetizers were yummy.. prawns and wings. Beet salad was a favorite too. Service was lacking; didnt return to check on us regularly and didnt remove dishes. Otherwise it was a great meal.. we will be back to try other things
Great selection of food. The range goes from sinful savory to light and healthy. A great variety for all palates!
Had a wonderful birthday dinner here! We tried the Tiger Prawns, Pork Belly Egg Rolls, and of course the Wild Boar Schnitzel! The flavors were out of this world amazing and the portions were large! Cant wait to come back and try more on the menu!
This is an amazing place if your looking for what I would say is glamorous comfort food. Appetizers seem a good variety so everyone can get something, and the entrees are good and hardy. Tho vs from burgers, lamb, and I had the boar and it was delicious. If your looking for something different but more then a standard burger or steak this would be the go to place. I will definitely visit this place again while in Reno.
Great service and plenty of outdoor seating available! All servers wore masks and customers wore masks outside of eating at our table. We ordered the Washoe Burger with waffle fries, shishito peppers and the caprese salad with burrata. So delicious! Total bill was around $30 -- great prices for a yummy filling meal! Lots of street parking out front as well.
The food was amazing. Probably my new favorite restaurant in town. Everything was so fresh, and presented beautifully. I already cant wait to go back and try some more food. For an appetizer we got the Irish nachos, my meal was the mac n cheese, my husband got a washoe burger, and for desert we had the smore. Everything was a god damn delight.
We came for dinner and ordered the mac and cheese and the Irish nachos with pork belly. It was probably the best pork belly Ive ever had. Its a pretty pricey place, but its worth it for what you get. We ate outside, but the inside looked really cool with the blue neon lighting too. Overall, we loved it and would definitely come again!
Great place for lunch, near the court house in downtown Reno--frequented by lawyers. Solid selection on the menu, one if the places serving the Impossible Burger. Vegetarian friendly place. Cross cut fries were the best in town. They make their own sauces, huge points from me as it both distinguishes them from other restaurants and improves their distinct quality.
Great location on the staff are very nice. We arrived after happy hour, and had a few problems getting items on the menu as they did not have a pasta special like the menu stated and they were out of the prawns. We instead got the pork belly egg rolls and the Ahi salad, both of which were really good. The drinks were absolutely fantastic but very very expensive. We will be coming back next week for happy hour, for sure.
