Wasabi Sushi in Helsinki

All dried food in the line, and price 15,90. Any public authority to complain against them?

I dont really recommend eating here. We tried the stir-fried mussel and it was horrible. You know the smell of a rotten fish, that was it. From the moment we opened the cover, that pungent smell hit our sense right away. I dont understand why the staff/chef could have them on the conveyor belt anyway. The sushis and other hot food were ok, but the mussel was awful. It made me thinking about the freshness of the ingredients.

This is probably one of the best sushi places in the city. The rolling line is constantly filled and the ingredients are very fresh all the time.

Wasabi Sushi is the best Asian restaurant in Eastern Helsinki though it is inexpensive. Food is tasty offering variation and quality. There is no reason to go to Helsinki city center and even less to go to Espoo which is all in all total waste of time when it comes to eating.

Great menu

The food was tasteless and hot food items were served cold. Specifically requested for vegetarian items but food with eggs was served. Very rude and unfriendly staff was hovering over our head all the time, could not eat in peace. Worst restaurant experience.

Do not waste your money here. The food is of low quality.Everything was either cold, dry, or too salty.My friend told me once she dined here and found hair on her food. Truly disgusting.

You have a small buffet with very good asian style food for a normal dinner buffe price.For some euro more you get to also pick as many as you want plates from their rolling hot and cold tube instead which has alot more alternatives and the quality is very high. If you like asian food, this will propably satisfy your need.The only reason i cant give it a 5 star is that i feel a place with this standard should always offer free cola or pepsi, fanta and sprite at least but they dont have that kind of machine there yet. Maybe it will come.They always have something sweet lemonade and coffee and water. And you can order beer also.But when I eat buffe style, I basically always want my cocacola or pepsi or fanta with the food or at least bubblewater.So there for I cant give it a 5 star yet. But maybe in the future

In short: low quality food and poor service and therefore overpriced.I had dinner buffet here. The price was 14.90€. The choices were quite limited even compared to what they serve at lunch time for 10.90€. At lunch, their buffet includes a buffet table containing sushi and warm food. For an additional 2€, one can take food from the conveyor belt. At dinner, they did not have any buffet tables only the conveyer belt which contained only limited variety of sushi and food. The food didn’t seem very fresh. Fried calamari was quite dry and hard to bite, for example. Warm dishes seemed like they were leftovers from their lunch. We arrived around 19:15 and they were supposed to be open till 21:00, but they stopped putting new food on the conveyor belt around 19:40-45 and the staff started eating their dinner. We still waited for them to make more sushi but it became clear that they are done for the night over an hour before their closing time. This was my worst sushi experience in Helsinki. I won’t recommend this buffet and will never return.

Wonderfully nice and welcoming owner, good sushi with lots of options. You can either order from the list or take your food from the conveyor belt.

Nice system of food service was hot but no quality of food look waste tried chicken it was to salty . Very expensive wont pay 16 Euro again for such food.

Good variety of dishes, but the quality is not great, average at best. Prawns were not fresh. I would not pay 16 euros to eat the same food again.

Paid 32 € for 2 person. Really ordinary food, after waiting 1 hour, didnt get any dessert in the moving line. Restaurant manager promised, they have enough food in the line including fried prawn but actually it was a big lie. Total waste of money and time. Never recommend that place

10€ full buffet lounch on week days was great value for money. Enought selection and quality of sushi this time was ok.

It was good place but last visit was very bad, no fried prawns , no mussels, no cakes, fruits only watermelon, sushi changed very slowly,not much choice of sushi and this is for 17 euro. No recommended

This restaurant is so cool with the Rolling dishes from where you can catch your next treat. Big recommendation!

Good food and nice personnell.

Great selection of dishes, super delicious, not only Japanese, also Thai-and other Asian foods. Only the drink selection them need to get a bit better or the way how they offer the soda.

I was there for the first time and oh boy! The sushi was really good but the bad side is that the rice had lots of thickness in it but it wasnt that bad at all. The customer service was good. The price was decent but the sushi had good quality taste. If you really like buffet sushi restaurant and want decent price then this is the place to go!

Fresh sushi in the buffee but I doubt the freshness on the line because no one was eating from there. The soup was a great addition. The noodles were really delicious.But it is a bit weird that in the sushi place the noodles and the chocolate ice cream were the best part.

If youre ever hungry for some sushi or chinese food, then this the place you go.ive gone there 6 times and every time its as wonderful as it was the first time

I love this place. Their service is top notch. The variety of food is another level. Theres amazing sushi, different types of food, ice cream and drinks. The staff are very friendly and keep serving no matter how long you stay there. Definitely my favorite place in Helsinki.
