MoreThis must see in Warwick. Its a beautiful museum built around a magnificent sandstone home and housing a unique and rare collection of historical items from a range of interest areas. The library is something you wont see anywhere else in Australia. The volunteers are amazing, working tirelessly to keep it all presentable. I absolutely loved the whole visit. I will be back with more time one day.
More$10 per person, make sure you bring cash as there is no ATM nearby. Really enjoyed this immersive experience. Lots of history about Warwick and plenty of history in general. You can go inside the buildings, theres more than one. You can explore the whole main house. The volunteers are very helpful, very kind and very knowledgeable.
MoreLoved how they lived back then.
Well done spot, very interesting, worth a look.
Wonderful unexpected visit there. Interesting variety of items and knowledgeable volunteers.
MoreWhat wonderful, friendly, polite and dedicated staff. Despite having a working bee the day we arrived to get ready for a weekend show every single volunteer came to say hello with a wonderful 82 year old gentleman sharing his history of growing up in the area. Although we aren’t locals we were very proud of the hard work you have all put in. The museum was spotless, informative and everything was labelled and we were even given demonstrations and a personal guide to other interesting items. We would 100% return again. Thank you for such a wonderful day and insight to some amazing history
MoreVolunteers were fantastic so full of information and willing to help. Museum was chockablock with interesting item. $10 per Adult entry fee sorry cannot remember childrens fee and cash only. Check their Facebook page for opening hours as I found the website out of date

South of the CBD, Warwick’s town museum is in a historical village complex around the heritage sandstone Pringle Cottage.Set in its original location, this two-storey dwelling dates as far back as the 1860s and was constructed by the Scottish stonemason John McCulloch.Over the next decades McCulloch worked on a host of sandstone buildings around Warwick. The cottage is furnished with all kinds of interesting pieces donated by early settler families, and since the 1970s has been accompanied by historic buildings and agricultural machinery from the town and the surrounding districts. One anchor is the timber-built Overseers Cottage (c. 1890), housing artefacts from saddles to hotel and office furniture, while the old-timey Emporium was erected in 1982 as a reception and display area. You can check out the development of printing equipment at the Printery and picture yourself out in the wilderness at the primitive Old Shepherd’s Hut.
MoreAll the volunteer enthusiasts were friendly, helpful, utterly knowledgeable, particular and all smiles, presenting a step back in time only to show off these wonderful, historic treasures.Loved it, thanks

A very well done museum. A must if in Warwick
Pringle Cottage takes learning experience to a whole new level .
I didnt actually stop and visit it but as I drove past it looked like a very interesting place
MoreDecided to make a quick stop at a museum in Warwick, saw this on the web and decided to check it out. Entry was $7, but well worth it. We spent over an hour while rushing. We could have easily done 2. The museum staff was very nice and quite knowledgeable. He basically gave us full personal tour, showing us how some of the older machines worked. Well worth the time and great value (their collection is very extensive). It might not be great for very young kids as there is a lot they could get their hands on and damage, but if they are older (maybe grade 3 and upthey shouldnt have a problem and could learn a lot of the local history.
MoreOk if ur into the old stuff. Not my seen though. It does cost to enter
Really enjoyed visiting. Amazing collection, with a wide variety of exhibits. Well maintained. Unfortunately I was told quite bluntly photos are not allowed, so I cant share the joy.
