Warsa Restaurant - Eritrean restaurant in Cornaredo, Italy
Very yummy food, the owner is the kindest person on earth 🤍
Such authenticity in the middle of Porta Venezia. The beauty of the space is hidden inside with beautiful cultural decorations. The food is amazing and very much, we ordered for 4 and struggled to finish all with the meat, the sauces and the complementary snacks, and it’s all with hands! Lovely atmosphere, the problem would be the lack of service inside, when we got in, we weren’t guided in the most helpful way and it took us a while to order, but they were polite. The price is definitely worth the size and the taste but its weird that everyone needs to pay for one so you can’t share the price. I would recommend for a change of culture.
Super
Beautiful African restaurant in the best district of Milan. It was my first time eating Eritrean food, and this was amazingly tasty plus I love that you share it and eat it with hands. Two things are that it was a little bit pricier than I thought, and the guy got confused with the starters so I got a meat one while Im a vegetarian. But really good overall, Id come back.
Really different experience! Delicious african food, with a very good service! It is a cultural experience more than just culinary! You eat with your hands and taste everything very deeply!
it is a tiny restaurant and do not go there without a reservation. the wine and the food was really good ... oh my🤩 I may overeaten
If you want to get out of your comfort zone and experience something different in Milan, eat in this restaurant. Too bad, we feel so full right away coz the dish is so big. Good recommendation to just get 1 dish for 2.
I had the best experience at this restaurant yesterday. The food was very tasty, rich of flavors, huge portions at reasonable prices. The waiters are really nice and friendly. The interior is cozy. To be repeated when I am back to Milan.
Fully-deserved 5-star restaurant and definitely the best Eritrean cuisine in Milan. Portions are huge and prices more than reasonable. Good South African wine at 20 euros a bottle or 4 euros a glass. The place is nicely decorated and staff are kind and professional.
Delicious food and beautiful interior
Very nice people! beautiful ambiente! and incredibly tasty and beautiful food ♡~♡
Best In Milan 😍
The interior was really nice when we entered. I went there with my Turkish mom and dad who are used to really good food with meat. They give a 2 course meal (zighinithe first one is vegetables with meat and the second one is chicken and eggs. It is 18 eurous each portion and since we were 3 they gave us the 3 portion together as seen in the pictures. In my opinion it wasn’t worth it because we didn’t find the food tasty and the portions were too small for 18 euros so we left still not completely full. This might be because we just simply didn’t like the eritrean food and did not understand how it was supposed to be. The staff was gentlebut overall we didn’t find it worthy.
Good food but really expensive. We went for dinner, 2 people, sharing a main, two appetisers, a bottle of water and a glass of wine for over 50eu.
Great spot for delicious food including unlimited injeera. Lovely ambiance. On the pricier side.
Waited for twenty minutes at the door front even though we had reservations. Then after an hour and a half they brought our food. We were two people ordering one plate but they said it’s not possible and we have to order two. Also they charged us for an appetizer we didn’t order, and you have to be careful at the end they don’t charge you for things you didn’t order. Just one person could somewhat speak English.Generally not satisfied.
It took half an hour to get the table even though we had reservation. They dont speak English so dont go there unless you speak a little Italian.Waited more than one hour for food and in the end we were charged for things that we didnt ordered.Terrible place to spend your money and time.Just go somewhere else.
WOWWhat an amazing restaurant! The staff is absolutely lovely, the oriental decorations are absolutely beautiful! The smell inside of spices is so so good! And the food, OMG their traditional enjera is so amazing! You eat only with your hands and its absolutely amazing. And the prices are really cheap compare to the amount of food (they renew the dishes until you cant eat no more)I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!Cant wait to go back again and again. If you are interested in oriental food and a different dining experience, do yourself a favor and take yourself to this restaurant NOW!
If you like ethnic spicy food, do yourself a favor and go eating here.Great flavor, nice internal design, good service, good value for your money.
The best food ever!
The service was friendly and very welcoming. On the other hands food was very average and expensive for what it is.
Food was not as expected, latterly expensive!
Spectacular. Delicious food, generous portions at unbeatable price and friendly service. Food was savory and we left feeling full. Try the samosas as an entrée. We had beef and chicken as main course, note that they come served as two separate meals so dont stuff yourself in the first round! Dont eat too much bread, which fills you up quickly. Definitely recommend if youre in for a different dining experience or if you simply want to impress your taste buds.
If you are reading this, you are obviously hungry and looking for a good place eat. Well Im here to tell you to look no further. Warsa Restaurant is a MUST if you are looking for something different and unique. The atmosphere is great, and the staff was VERY friendly and spoke English really well. They were more than happy to demonstrate how to eat their food the traditional way using your hands. My wife and I loved the food so much that we finished the single meat platter within a few minutes. This rating will not due this restaurant justice. YOU MUST TRY IT FOR YOURSELF.
Excellent! 👍
Really nice food with cool experience! Will recommend to locals and people interested in African food.
Great restaurant! Beautiful interior and hospitable staff. Definitely will return next time in Milan!
Delicious food! The ambience is great and so is the service. There are some dishes that you need to order the day before, so make sure you check the menu. It can get quite busy, so do make a reservation.
It is a local restaurant along warsa piti village in Mariri town of samaru, Saminaka. To get to this location, you will pass through kaduna to Kachia, to Zongwa, to Samaru from samaru to Mariri and from Mariri to warsa piti. They sell food for breakfast, lunch and dinner to the residents of that area. It is situated deep inside the village of warsa piti, close to LGEA primary school warsa piti. It has a wheelchair accessible entrance, a wheelchair accessible parking. It will take about 20minutes drive by car to get there and by foot almost 1hour or more.Nevertheless, this road also leads to states like Kano, Zaria, Jos, Gombe, Bauchi etc. People visit here mostly traders of sugarcane to purchase sugarcane. The land is one of the fertile land for growing sugarcane, rice and beans.
It takes time to find the things you want.
Would give more stars if i could! Food was fantastic and service was good! We had table at the window, so the only negative was the bar across the road which was full, and people kept sitting on the floor right by our window and kept hitting the window with their backs and talking loud, which i found really rude. Otherwise fantastic restaurant👍👍
Intimate atmosphere, good and filling food at a reasonable price.
Good place and good service! Nice experience... Fair price/quality ratio
Amazing food and very quick and friendly service.
This 5/5 is totally warranted. The food was an absolute delight. Coupled with an incredibly warm and almost familial service, it reminded me of my grandmas home. A veritable delicious feast, thats extremely reasonably priced, served in a very warm and homely atmosphere.
Top place. Highly recommended
Great Food...Great Hospitality
Amazing warm friendly service. Great food. Different experience all together. Tasty and wholesome.
Great food, relaxed atmosphere, will return for sure!
One of the last genuine and non-commercial place to eat ethnical dishes in Milano. Real Eritrean cousine by real Eritrean people. The atmosphere is perfect with soft warm lighting. They will bring you 1 main dish and you have to eat it with your hands and/or their special bread. Portions are abundant and once you finish it a second one is gonna come. Personal is super nice and kind.Recommended for a romantic, unusual african dinner.
Very nice food, cozy atmosphere. Large portion
Awesome!!!
Be prepared! This is a very authentic African restaurant. All your food arrives on a platter and you are expected to eat it with pieces of flat bread. The food was delicious but I didnt really like the bread. It was like a rice bread, unbaked and a bit soggy. Unfortunately both means my wife got upset stomachs. Might be our hands werent clean enough for this experience, so wash really thoroughly if you go for this place!
The place is really cute and cozy, eating with your hands and sitting almost on the floor give you a sense of exotic (although you can choose the regular chairs and tables if you prefer). The food is tasty and filling and the price is reasonable. Shame for the service, which is super lazy and slow / when almost non existent.
Disclaimer: I was quite drunk during this dinner. This is one of the top two places (out of maybe 20where I ate during my stay in Milan. Furthermore, the atmosphere is very nice. I was there alone but this group of girls invited me to join their table. We ordered chicken, beef, etc. all of which comes in that bread which reminds me of Indian bread called dosa. Very flavorful and everything went very well together (except for some random couscous). Decent wine and grappa too. Although by the end of that last one my judgment was quite hindered.
Amazing! a must in Milan. mixed bag of flavors, Spanish, Mediterranean, Persian. all a good surprise of flavorsmy only thing... eating with your hands is a nice ethnic experience, but after he second or third bite I was so looking for utensils... I dont enjoy wiping/washing my hands that frequently
Great interior and welcoming staff, this Eritrean restaurant is of a very high quality and if you are looking for a change from Italian this is a great experience. Portions are huge and you do not need the appetizer. You eat with your hands (supposed to just use your right handso be prepared for a little mess as you get the hang of scooping with the injera (flat pancake). Prices are a bit high though I think appropriate for what you receive, food seems to be of high quality. Tea was good and tasted of cinnamon although very sweet. Injera was made with regular flour though instead of teff so the flavor was a little different from what I was expecting.
Recommended in every way!
Amazing food, very authentic, great hospitality. Would definitely return.
Best somali restaurant in milan. Have the zighini, delicious and affordable. Nice and cozy. A must.
