What the building lacks in character, it more than makes up for it with its pleasant young staff, very good pub style meals and the happy banter of the many local customers. The $3.00 house red during happy hour was a steal! Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. ( Just passing through)

Have not been for awhile. Was quite surprized. Staff came and took orders from tables. A very old fashioned way going back many years. Meals very reasonably priced. Large bistro.Plenty of close by parking. Very user friendly. Highly recommended.

Food wasnt too bad. BUT, as a guest of the Lions Club, (which has a regular booking for meals with a preset menuthought it was pretty bad that meals were delayed over an hour to give preference to people who had made bookings that day.Meals are usually served 6-45pm. Didnt get served until well after 8pm

Nice small cozy bistro. Fish n chips were really nice and garlic prawns were great too. Not huge servings but enough. Service was very fast and very friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Went here for lunch. The food was great, only a short wait as well. The iced chocolates were great, enjoyed by the kids and adults alike. Very reasonable priced lunch menu.

Someone took my credits out of pokies machine,at start they were no helpful until I threatened to ring police,and then they helped,besides that great meal

We were part of a private function. The club catered for 150, two mains (beef or chicken& two desserts (sticky date or pav). Two piece band & the bar was kept busy. Great night. Twinkle toes (pic)

Lovely, Friendly small club with lovely Staff. New TAB facility, Sports TV, pokies & Keno. Very popular restaurant.

Food was ok for the price. Shame with all the local breweries around the only beer sold is internationally owned generic beers.

Food was pretty damn good. Had seafood platter. For a club, I thought a bottle of local/regional "average-taste" wine for $25 was a bit overpriced. "We only sell local wine". Id go back for the food, not the atmosphere or beverages.

A hidden gem of Wangaratta.The bistro, in my opinion, is the best Chinese/Thai food in town. Take away is also available and really quick too! You must try the salt and pepper chicken.Try it out and see for yourself, you wont be disappointed.
