Nothing fancy, but consistently good food at prices lower than any in the area. Some places serve more, but no flavor. This is our go to.

Terrible experience. Been waiting for 80 minutes and no food. Wait staff is blaming it on a lot of takeout orders. Never again

They can exchange most meats in dishes with tofu

There’s maggots in the duck sauce. They don’t clean at this place

Nice place but I did takeout. Good food and they had it ready fast.

Food was okay, service was confused and had trouble getting the orders correct but we did have a large group.

Literally one of the worst food I’ve ever had. We ordered several dishes for delivery and they were all terrible.

Delicious food at a great price! This is a wonderful little spot with authentic good cooking. We found wonderful vegan items on the menu and really enjoyed our meal.

Delicious food, great portions, friendly staff, and lots of veggie options.

worst takeout ever! i got the general chicken with lo mein EXTRA CRISPY it was so soft and squishy so gross couldn’t even eat it and my boyfriend got orange chicken with fried rice. rice was great but they gave him 6 pieces of chicken.. both the same prices and they only gave him 6 tiny pieces for $11.25?! come on now! rip off for sure and the green beans have no flavor at all.. just 0 out of 10 i do not know how this place has 4.1 stars they skimp! i spent $36 and they couldn’t even fulfill my requests.. im so dissatisfied and disappointed i will never return! thanks for the rubber chicken..

Fresh Chinese that is hard to find now days. Not your typical take out place but quality sit down food .

With its reasonable prices and cozy, low-budget decor, this little restaurant isnt too bad. While theres nothing particularly impressive or unique about the food when contrasted with other Chinese restaurants, there wasnt anything I tried that was bad, either. There doesnt appear to be a lot of dine-in business, at least not on Sunday in the early evening when I was here. However, in the time it took me to eat my dinner, they did at least a dozen to go orders, possibly a few more.In short, if youre looking for reasonably priced, competently cooked Chinese food that stays well within the expected range of a standard "American style" Chinese restaurant, this place will fit the bill.Im giving it a four star rating because I think it deserves more than three. If I had the choice to do so, I would rate it three and a half stars.

This place is amazing... the lunch special was exactly what I needed.. not too much food.. and the right price.. theyre hot and sour soup is best in town... my lunch was served hot and fast... the staff is very accommodating ... Thank you very much

I’m surprised there’s a good Chinese restaurant like this in palm spring. Food was good, not too oily or salty, and no msg. Won’t get super thirsty after eating it. Highly recommended and will come back for more.

Sorry but I was raised in San Francisco, lived in Asia for 10 years, and have an Asian spouse and we agree that this restaurant serves the worst food around. Yes even Panda Express is better. We were served shrimp that wasn’t shrimp, disguised in batter. The blandness of everything may appeal to some but it’s not anything like China. The owners appear to cut corners where they can. We left feeling we’d been had!

"A" rating. Very good crispy fried fish. Reliable, 7 day a week service. Good prices. Atmosphere and decor not conducive to friendly group good time.

The atmosphere is pleasant with Chinese tasteful art without being tacky. Two of us had luncheon specials with generous helpings...but the food wasBland. We have never had CHINESE cuisine that we wanted to salt.We would be hard pressed to return.

Small but comfortable Chinese restaurant with a hundred menu items. Everything we had was very good and flavorful.Update: Do NOT expect fast service on a Saturday night. I waited an hour for a takeout order and saw the same people at tables before and after. Understaffed, so please be patient.

Wangs is a great little Chinese restaurant. The portions are large, delicious, and affordable.I had Orange Beef with Fried Rice on the side. The beef is served with some onions, sliced carrots and green peppers all of which are cooked perfectly: hot but still crispy and flavourful.The beef can be served mild or spicy. I asked for a little bit spicy and it was perfect. Crispy and delicious with the sticky sauce adding flavor.My wife had the Honey Chicken, which I stole about half of because it was yummy and because I am a bit of a pig.My daughter wasnt with us on this trip, but she loves Wangs Paper Wrapped Chicken.All in all, Highly Recommended.

Food was good but their pickup time estimate is way off. We were told to pick up in 30 minutes but my food was ready a little over an hour later.

I ordered the 6 beef skewers appetizer and sesame chicken. For the appetizer they gave me 4 slivers of beef jerky. The sesame chicken was just overly sweet orange chicken with a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top. The chicken was tough and stringy, and there was a hair in it.Definitely not worth $20.

My new favorite Chinese take out food in the greater palm springs area so far every dish Ive tried here has been very good. I havent dined in so no idea about the service

I was optimistic and order somewhere new and close but it did not go well I was very hungry. There best dish orange chicken not good.

Stopped by yesterday and had a delicious lunch. The staff is courteous and charming. The food was some of the best I have had in the Palm Springs area. The restaurant is extremely clean..enjoy

Another -Not-So-Good Chinese restaurant. The egg rolls were overcooked greasy spring rolls. There is a difference between ‘spring rolls’ and ‘egg rolls’ . The egg foo young was interesting- the meat was in the gravy not cooked into the egg portion. The spicy chicken was very sweet and flavorless. The Kung Pao chicken was soupy and bland.

Still trying to find decent Chinese food in the Coachella Valley. Not sure it exists. This place is clean enough. Service was prompt but not very friendly. Tea was hot and there was a nice little fried wonton appetizer treat. I had the orange chicken with fried rice (not reallyand an egg roll. The chicken was chicken breast, which is always better than what is usually used (thigh meatbut there were exactly 2 pieces of green pepper, 1 piece of carrot, and the rest of the vegetables were onions. Seriously? The fried rice was, I dont know what, it looked like a bunch of brown rice that had something dumped on top of it. It definitely was Not fried rice. My husband had the sweet and sour pork which he said was ok but same vegi issues. His came with 1 butterflied shrimp. No soup comes with these meals. The meal portions looked like something you would get for lunch - not something for dinner. As compared to a few other places weve tried, there was some flavor to the dishes but not much. Still looking.............

Good portions, terrible food. Easily the worst Chinese food Ive had in years. No flavor, cheap ingredients. Shrimp was off. Just generally low quality food. I just wasted $50 on this place, and Im throwing 90% of it away :/ Try anywhere else.

Ordered takeout and should have taken pictures. Egg rolls were greasy and overdone with very little filling. The Moo Shoo Vegetables had no flavor and had broccoli and whole pea pods. They should have been thinly sliced and it seemed it was just a vegetable stir fry and was soupy. The worse was the small fried rice. No vegetables or egg in it. They took white rice and poured soy sauce on it and it was mushy. I met a friend here for lunch a couple of years ago ago and it wasnt very good then. I thought Id try give it a try again. Definitely will not eat here again!

Shanghai noodle plate was amazing. Im glad the waitress said to get it evan if it is too much food.. I would suggest it to all my friends. If I had any. They are all in Colorado ..🥢

Its Its ok but Kim Lua food in my opinion given his food is much better barbecue spare ribs the fried stuff to me was a little too oily

Just had their chicken in garlic sauce. Super fresh ingredients and delicious. Perfect amount of heat. Great portion. Great price. Definitely someplace we will continue to order from.

This little hole in the wall was amazing!! The flavors were all there!! Yum Yum Yum!!! L33- Kung Pao three delight was super delicious!! Hubby and I will definitely be returning. Thank you for the great service👍😁😋

Everything was so Fresh and beautifully prepared. - while i DO miss in house dining, the food Still made this a special occaision. we were able to see the menu online & call in our order with the help of the lady on the phone & when my husband arrived everything was ready to go!! we are SO happy your restaurant is still up & running.. thank you rj

Food is delicious, only offering takeout at this time so you dont get the soup which would be included for eat in meals. We both agreed that Wangs has surpassed China 8 at this time. China 8 isnt consistent with their meal prep and even though Wangs is slightly more expensive they are worth the money!

Real Chinese cuisine the way I was accustomed to growing up in Chicago. I guess you would describe it as classic Cantonese. Great flavors seasoned incredibly. Wow- the chef knows his business! High quality ingredients. Very accommodating will customize to your individual needs. Everyone working there is helpful and upbeat in spite of the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. I hope everyone reading this will try and support this great small business.

Not so good. Actually it was awful. Panda Express is better tasting. I dont care that much for Panda but compared to the food I just eat, it is a 10. The shrimp was smelly. The chow mien had no taste. The orange chicken was ok. The wontons were small and overcooked. The beef low mien was only dish we kinda of liked. We will not be eating here again.

I did visit the restaurant with my family. It took over 15 minutes to take the order another 20-30 minutes to serve the food we were staving like hell. Pretty much one girl work front desk doing all the work such as take order,charge, prepare table,serving the food and water so on.Food taste not that good.Honestly Panda Express better very disappointed..

The Popo platter was our appetizer and holy talito batman, it was incredibly DELICIOUS... as was our personal main dishes, I just didnt take any pictures. I was genuinely surprised ... seemed like "a hole in the wall " but very clean, great service and I will recommend this place to ANY AND EVERYONE!

Ordered General Tsos chicken. Tiny little bits of batter, tough and chewy overcooked chicken. Completely unappetizing. Teriyaki beef did not taste like it was ever marinated. Dry and small portions of beef with poor teriyaki flavor. Sad to say that Panda Express is better than this. Disappointing.
