The pastry is out if this world. I always go back for their pies.
Meseum is clean and quiet.Items held at the meseum are very interesting and date back to as far as the 70s, really worth taking the little ones and those that have not yet been..Plus...its a free activity. 🙂
Place is packed with history and nature 😊
Has few historical artifacts and most of them are fake.

It just a Museum. Nothing to write home about
Small and beautiful. The entry is free. It is located inside the Library building. The guide was so kind show us around.

Very historical... Each specimen is worth a thousand words... Come check in... Its going to be the best experience
The very best.
Lovely coastal history
From library entrance, turn left then step down following stairs to ground floor then turn right. Not quite big so within half an hour you could finish a tour.
The museum looks amazing, they have got all the history information of walvisbay that you dont know about. It was a great opportunity to have visited it. I have learned alot about my town. I hope you will learn what I have learned from this walvisbay museum
Best Calamari at the coast
Lovely place. Educational and very interesting.
A must see when you visit the sand dunes of the coastal area of Namibia
Very cheap entrance, interesting history of Walvis Bay
Small. Very small but well worth the entrence fee
Some amazing bits of history crammed into the lower levels of the library here...discovered things we didnt have a clue about, SO much learning to be had. The place charges no entry fee (though we made sure to leave a donation), and the welcome is warm and unassuming. Thank you for the best two hours we spent in Walvis Bay!
Beautiful historical place
Awesome tourism center!

It was magnificent. Absolutely amazing. It felt like I was reliving the past.
More old, than impresive
?? We didnt visit the museum.
There are no tours available but informative in terms of self-learning. The museum is located 1 floor beneath the Walvis Bay Library and can be difficult to locate due to the absence of visible signs.
Quite a good place to tour
Plenty to see and learn. Worth the experience
Good for the whole family. Nice day out
Starting place to understand the history of the town and of the country. Gives one a good idea of how life used to be like back in the idea
Overall, this is a very uninteresting museum. Like the Swakopmund museum, The room is old and dusty and there is plenty of memorabilia, but unlike it there is not much in the way of explanations, text, etc. The result is that the visitor is left wondering what this is all about, which is a shame because the museum obviously has lots of stuff in its collections, and the staff has done a lot to present things and display everything. The visit is free, so no regrets, but leave a tip as the place is run by volunteers only.
