Monumental, 17th-century palace in early Baroque style, with geometric gardens & ornate interiors.
Beautiful and quiet… I stumbled on the garden and Palace from getting off the tram. It’s hidden in the corner. Here you’ll find an interesting wall…
A beautiful palace
Nice to see. Beautiful gardens and architectural buildings. Worth a visit.
Has a nice garden with a pond and some beautiful murals. But not a must-see.
Super amazing place to must visit. Especially explore it completely. Its huge place with lot of statues and birds.
What a lovely place!
Really relaxing place while visiting prague, the gardens, birds, statues are a must see in Prague
The castle is really big - We have been travelling there for almost 3 hours. There is a lot to see - The cathedral is huge and beautiful, there is a lot of history that can be learned in the castle. Many rooms and halls so get ready to walk :)
Very beautiful palace with the fascinating halls and corridors. It is the first Baroque secular building in Prague and is currently used as a senate of Czech republic🙂. I have visited it on 28th of October when there are a free tours for the celebration of the Foundation of the Independent Czechoslovak State Day which is a public holiday. Usually there might be a big queue, so it is better to come in advance 😅
What a lovely place for the Czech Senate to have access to. the grounds are free and a place to relax and take in the Beautiful scenery.
A beautiful architecture and the garden was nice
Nice, cool art, llave you must visit in prague, but its not a big deal
The enlargement of a remarkable historical map of Europe of 1592 hangs on the wall behind the gallery for the public. Europe is portrayed there as a female character dressed in a period renaissance clothing. She has a golden coin hanging on the chain on her chest with the inscription Bohemia, with the city of Praga (Prague).
Wonderfully peaceful, yet right in the heart of the tourist zone. Peacocks 🦚 stroll the gardens and are quite unafraid of onlookers.
Absolutely charming gardens with amazing views of the Prague castle and surrounding buildings. Entrance is free so definitely take a peek inside
Nice free garden, though not a lot in bloom when we went. Enormous koy, peacock including a white one, and owls. The dripping wall is neat as well, it is fun to find the many hidden things within it. A nice break from most of the crowds, though dont expect to fully escape.
What a great place to visit ... Love the gardens and as I had an opportunity to listen to a fab concert there it was a place to remember.
Wonderful garden and on some Saturdays you can tour the Czech Senate. Check the website for more information
The senat is a great place to visit . The gardens museums and koi pond are just remarkable.
This is... small. Theres like 3 rooms you can visit. Its worth it for the gardens if for nothing else.
It has a peaceful park, it is next to Malostrana metro station, under the castle.Beautiful fountains, plants and even peacocks.Worth a visit.
Gardens are so beautiful! There are peacocks. Very peaceful place. Definitely you will have nice pictures there.
Not massive but free entry to the palace and gardens at the weekend. Its a working Senate during the week. All very pretty, plus you get to see the rare white peacock up close.
Come at ease while looking at the dripstonewall! Beautiful place for concerts.
Part of the Czech Senate buildings in Prague. Beautifull palace and garden. You can visit also for free almost every weekend, or during weekdays normally with purchased ticket. It is really worthy to see that!!!
Absolutely beautiful area. The pond, gardens, Senate building, grotto - all so pretty in its way.
Beautiful place where the Senate takes place. The palace only accept tours in specific times and date so I recommend to check before showing up there.
It was closed and I couldnt get into the garden. The palace is now act as higher seat of Czech Republic parliament, that is senate. The streets around the building were not crowded and very narrowed. It presents a typical look of old age town.
Great old building with an amazing garden with peacocks and caged owls. Seat of the Senat of Czech Republic.
Beautiful castle with history. Its lovely to go thete when it opens for visitors. The senat keeps the castle in good condition. Old furniture, pictures, doors and history of this place make the visit magic in some way.Was there twice and will go there again for sure ;)
A palace in the downtown of Prague with different exhibitions, worth seeing if you like historic stuff
Beautiful garden, love to just walk around there.
Nice walk to Dripstone Wall and through the gardens. Not much to see but fountains and koi fish though. Nice relaxing stroll through the park.
The dripstone wall is really the highlight, but it was rather disappointing. You cant get into it behind it or climb up it, so it really just looks like droopy dust bunnies. The aviary is an interesting touch but its full of owls who dont make any noise, which defeats the original purpose. If they let you in or somehow made it more interactive it would be better otherwise it just kind of a boring garden in the centre of Parliament.
One of the most beautiful sites in Prague!
Peaceful place! We could see a peacock walking around the palace.
An old Dukes castle turned into a Senate house. This build has several rooms you can walk through and admire the baroque ceiling decor. No enterance fee which is good if you are on a budget. The complex isnt that large and will only take about 20 minutes to do.
Nice garden in the middle of the Prague. Senat employees do the great job, try ask for guide inside the palace, its very nice!
Beautiful park close to metro station. If you are lucky you can listen to a free symphonic concerts there during spring/summer time. Beautiful peacocks walking there around. One of my favourites gardens in the city.
Free entrance and lovely place
Lovely quiet palace garden with amazing statues and a very interesting press photo exposition about Czechs recent history
Beautiful and peaceful palace. People.may sit down and enjoy the atmosphere here.
Unfortunately the Parliament building was closed. However the gardens are well worth a visit. Elegant. And with white peacocks.
Really interesting and beautiful park with a fountain with fish and peacocks. The statues by Adriaen de Vries was looted by the Swedish Army a long time ago. Therefore you can find copies of these statues around the park.
The garden outside the palace is home to two beautiful peacocks, one of which is white in color. Very beautiful.
Sadly, the place is only open for visitors on the first weekend of a month. So if you come at any other time, you will have to satisfy yourself with viewing a not-overly-impressive outer facade.
Free entry to the check Senate building and gardens. An amazing historic building with very nice attendants. Even if we didnt share a language we had a good conversation about the stolen statues in the garden.
We loved the Wallenstein Palace! It is the home of the Czech Senate and visitors are free to visit the senate halls for free. And it wasnt even the best part. The gardens are amazing! We were lucky to catch a free outdoor concert by an orchestra. It was a different feeling to enjoy the classic pieces while lying on the grass with all sorts of people from all over. There is a very interesting wall art installation at the right end of the gardens. Make sure to explore the gardens to see the free roaming fowls. We saw a really beautiful peacock having a grand time! Do not miss out on this place.
This palace is one of the best surprises in our Prague visit. We accidentally stumbled upon it and I have to say that it is a must! The palace itself is beautiful but the relaxing gardens are the real attraction. When visiting take time to sit and soak it all in.
Amazing place! Beautiful architecture, fontanas, sculptures. Theres even a little zoo with owls. Closed in winter until middle of spring.
