This place is located almost outskirt of Wajir town. With little Noise pollution, good for resting well organised. For Wajir, i should rate it 5-star.

Wajir Palace Hotel used to be known as Wajir Hilton Palace. It is not immediately clear why the name changed but if your local Wajir taxi guy does not know Wajir Palace, throw in Wajir Hilton and it will very likely ring a bell. About 200M from the Wajir International Airport, it is close to the military barracks, which is an obvious plus for it because of the extra security guests enjoy while staying there. Why everyone also emphasised it was near the Governors and deputy governors residence was not that obvious.With free WiFi, cable TV, your own private balcony, a fridge and air conditioning, it is indeed palatial for its class. Then morning comes and you encounter the halal breakfast which suddenly makes you feel like a prince or princess turned hustler because if its not the serving spoon you are hustling for, an ingredient cannot be found, so you will rely heavily on the staff to make the breakfast palace-worthy. But this oversight is quickly overshadowed by northern hospitality - no wonder the place boasts so many international accolades.With more high quality facilities like Wajir Palace coming up and regular scheduled flights landing to and taking off from Wajir daily, it will not be a surprise if this becomes Kenyas new adventure destination!

Security is topnotch, the rooms are out of this world, with the AC and fan working very well. The safe in the room is working perfectly well so you dont have to worry about your gun(haha). Generally, this is the place to spend a night when in wajir. a stone throw from wajir international airport.

Rooms are very ideal though their breakfast buffet is terrible. There have no fruits and only have beans with pancakes with a small cup of coffee or tea. Services of their waiters id so wanting. Good chill out spot and the ambiance is great.

This was my first visit to Wajir. And the place did not disappoint. The Wajir palace hotel is located in a quiet and very secure neighborhood which was a huge plus for me. The room was good for my one night stay. I especially liked the breakfast which was served early and cooked quite well.This was a refreshing town to visit and the hotel made the experience even better. I look forward to returning.I might add that the bed and breakfast option was quite pocket friendly.

Wajir palace is nice place to stay and relaxing well manage WiFi , parking, good staff, security etc.

Overall a great hotel, it changed my perspective about Wajir. The staff are courteous and helpful. The only issue I had was network reception and the terrible WiFi in the rooms. Outside the rooms, the WiFi was fine but phone reception was still a bit shaky. Otherwise, its a good hotel.

Good place to stay in Wajir. Hotel has many rooms which are spacious. It has its own restaurant (garden restaurantwhich is a nice place to relax & have food. Food is nice & tasty.Security & services are good. Cleanliness is maintained. Gym & meeting rooms are available in the hotel.

Best hotel in Wajir. Real ambiance, delicious food, very clean rooms, trustworthy housekeepers and the waiters, especially Chris, was friendly and of great help.We also got the opportunity to meet the owner, Abdifatah, a very wise guy. We enjoyed our stay.Looking forward to visiting again.

Food is expensive and I didnt like the way it was prepared. Rooms are good but TV channels limited. I love animations and therefore a room I cant watch cartoons is lonely for me especially when I am away from my family. Staff are suspicious and want to scrutinize your every move. Environment is friendly and cool. Water heater in cold weather is not heating water. I hope I will enjoy my stay here despite the shortcomings.
