Wai Ying Fast Food - Fast food restaurant in Manila, Philippines
Try the curry beef it the best curry id tried
Really love their siomai, beef balls and fried wanton
Missing binondo food.Manila is really a walking city. Have to park somewhere safe and secured. Hard to find parking.Tip: Sit near the door to get signal.
This restaurant will always have a place in my heart. After a decade, they still have the same spark and of course, good food. It’s their all-meat congee for me with their special ginger sauce and lots of chilis. Sarap! And never ever miss that hakaw! Oh yum. ‘Di pa rin nagbabago ang masarap na lasa after all this time.Tip: Do not eat here on weekend lunch and dinner time. Sobrang haba ng pila. I always see to eat na weekdays or off hours kami kakain dito para mabilis at hindi hassle ang service.Wai-ying, always.
Some staff are noot accommodating. One server looks like hes mad at us while serving us.
One of my favorite Chinese cuisine since college days.
Best dimsum I tasted in a long time. White chicken with ginger sauce is a gem, a must try.
Spare ribs and chicken feet rice meal was yummy and filling! Worth the trip :)
Its 5/10 for me
Still one of the good Chinese restaurant in Binondo area, fast service, approachable staff and guard. Good value for money.
Arrived at 11 am and there are no crowds. Its also bigger than the branch in Ongpin. You can taste the difference between their noodles and most ramen places which uses alkalized egg noodles, tastes like your go to Lomi. The dimsums have chunks of meat, shrimp and makes for an exciting texture on top of the flavors. The lemon chicken is crispy but needs more lemon taste. Will definitely go back, for all of their awesome dimsums and noodles!
Mura Na, Madami Pa! Although the cleaning department should work on mopping the floor and fixing the furnitures
Roasted duck asado rice and lemon chicken are my favorite!
Authentic Chinese streetfood, very busy during lunch time. For starters, try their Asado Rice, Lemon Chicken Rice and Siomai (no extenders👌🏼
It was my first time going to chinese places in Manila. It seems like were tripping down memory lane. One of the places we chose to eat at was Wai Ying fast food in Benavidez. The spot was I think small but it accommodates as much customers as it could. I remember hearing one of the customers saying that they are a pack of 22 persons and Wai Ying okd and were able to accommodate them. I didnt actually like that their kitchen area is located at an exposed part of the resto so its not really a good view, and it was even separated into 3 stations I think, but I understand that maybe it has been like that eversince. Crew and staff are friendly and gives you warm smiles everytime you make eye contact with them and all of them are really trained to be accommodating. The manang crew there even answered most of our questions as to what kind of food is in the menu. Its a plus for me that one is knowledgeable about what they sell.As expected, the food are expensive, but it compensates the chinese food feel. We ordered Hakaw, roasted duck and fried rice, some other dumplings, noodles and some signature drinks. I was happy about the roasted duck and asado fried rice because the serving was generous and I was not even able to finish it off entirely. If you are planning on resto hopping, I dont suggest you ordering heavy meals, and just order the dimsums. This would give you further "space" to eat at other places.
Delicious and affordable chinese food..authentic taste since then.. when we went there, theres no line outside maybe because we went after lunch. Be sure to have your vaccination card with you.
More spacious than the main store, this Wai Ying branch is flooded with guests when we arrived (it was a Saturday noon, probably that’s why). I have sanitary issues, having seen a tiny cockroach inside.Food-wise, what they offer tasted legit. Still the best local Chinese restaurant in this part of Manila. I expected to wait longer given the number of customers, but surprisingly they served our food fairly fast.Highly recommended: Iced Milk Tea!🧋
Congee halo lack ingredients and lechon kawali rice was good. Accomodating staff, even let bikes park inside the resto. ☺️
At least this place is already open again.Very kind and courteous servers.Amazing menu with delicious quality Chinese food
place is not for the meticulous. its a typical busy chinese resto. i gave 5 stars because food is delicious and not pricey. one of my favorite chinese resto
Authentic chinese fast food! One of the go-to places in Binondo. Their Hakaw, Siomai and Chong Fan are worth a try!
Expensive food and topsy-turvy place, but authentic Chinese food, except the roasted duck.
Great Food☺️❤️
Delicious food.Fast service.Low foot traffic (due to Pandemic, but lots of take out patrons)
My go to place for Chinese dishes and dimsum
One of the best Chinese food restaurants in the Metro! Relatively cheap, big servings, with free hot tea! When my aunt introduced me to Wai Ying, I cant just get over their sumptuous food!
I always come back to this resto.. I love their hakaw and milk tea. Their rice toppings can be shared by 2.. If youre not that hungry.
Quality chinese food on an affordable price point. Also now open for dine in 👌 fried rice, siomai, sweet and sour pork, chicken feet plus steamed tofu must try!
My favorite Chinese Fast food restaurant! Affordable and delicious! I recommend their siomai, kebab and their wanton beef mami! ❤️
The food is good. If you love Chinese food must try.
Food served to you not piping hot especially the congee. If you are within Binondo just eat in other Chinese restaurants. Not here. Food not okay.
Best tasting congee in town! I love the roasted congee they have. Very affordable and taste good. Hawak, siopao and siomai are the best too! Must try their hot milk tea. The place is a must see.
Fast service, good authentic Chinese Food! I will always come back here with my friends and enjoy this places food
Decent everyday foodVery much like hawker Chen. Fair priced and tastes good
One of our favorite ❤️❤️I love the food and attentive yung staff.
Best Taipao for me. Just a mound of goodness in 1 humongous Siopao called Taipao. Chunks of meat, salted eggs and savory taste. A favorite with this age old Chinese resto near Metropolitan Medical Center, just fronting Hope Christian School. Have to try other stuff when i am back soon.
Money was worth it and food was served quickly. The only problem is the place, please clean the floor often.
One of our go to restaurant in Binondo. It was 2015 when I had a love at first bite in this resto. They serve a hot Jasmine tea and wonton broth soup for free. Chose their best seller, Beef curry and never regret. They are good in their rice toppings offering. But meh in dimsum. There is like a untreated oceanic taste in seafood dimsum. But overall, Waiying is one of my sweetheart in Binondo.
Went here Saturday night I was ninth in the line but was able to get seats in 10 mins 😀It wasn’t so bad. Love the food I’ve ordered, it’s was worth the travel and waiting time, great value for money. MSG not too strong. 😀
Had Chinese food craving and our hunger took us here! :)
Good food and good service. Place would be overcrowded during dinner time.
Superb Nice! Authentic Chinese Food!!!
Great place for affordable Dim sum. Their deep-fried curry wontons is a must try. The Food is generally great but the Restaurant itself is very basic and not very clean. At least their aircon is very good.
Good place for noodles and dimsum. The prices are slighty high (particularly hakaw/shrimp dumplings), but reasonable still. Their beef curry siomai is very good, although in general most of there food is quite tasty. Although the staff is a bit lax, it may take a few calls to get an extra order in, but they were polite and respectful. Would recommend this as good lunch/early dinner spot for 1 or more, or anytime youre craving some decent dimsum.
The foods were tasty but the price per person ranges from 300 to 400 pesos though the serving is good for sharing. The place can be renovated as it seems old though its normal in a Chinatown set up. They had HongKong Style Fried noodles but didnt have a peanut sauce thats why Im a bit disappointed. They gave me a Hoisin Sauce instead but its not the taste Im looking for. The dimsums were great though and I also liked their fried wantons with sweet & sour sauce!
Old School Authentic Chinese Dishes. The kind of place where your parents used to bring you and thr family as a kid.
This restaurant offered dumplings that I did not usually see in other chinese restos. I liked their beef curry dumplings. The duck noodle soup was good, you cant go wrong with duck! I wish I ordered their milk tea which my friends raved about. Will make sure next time =)
Its one of the places thats a "must try" in Binondo. The food was good especially the hakaw, though its 100Php for 4pcs, ots really yummy and you can see real shrimp when you try to open it.The serving for me is good enough to share for 2 persons. The place is quite small but they have 2nd floor. At first I thought that it was hot inside but it was air-conditioned.The staffs I guess needs more improvement. But still will go back for the food.
Great place for when you’re hungry and have to have hearty Chinese good. But you have to be hungry because it’s a long walk from the corner where you get off from the ride you took at Rizal Ave. Food’s well worth the effort though.
Good authentic chinese food. def hole in the wall. You can overlook the sanitation because of the taste of their cooking 😜
