Wahlburgers in Boston

We just stopped in to get some fries since we’d already had lunch but the truffle fries are really good! The margarita was good and the prices were good too.

I’m from out of town so eating at Mark Wahlberg and Bros restaurant was a great Boston experience. It’s sports bar vibe of a restaurant as it’s right outside Fenway park. My buddies and I actually got dinner here before a Sox game. The burgers do not disappoint. Keep in mind before coming here though that everything is a la carte, so you have to order the sides separately. If you haven’t been here before I’d give a go especially if you’re coming to watch sports or enjoy game day!

Update: Server and manager were friendly. Both Impossible and double-decker burgers were quite tasty. Got an egg on top which was a perfect addition. Blistered tomatoes in side salad were gross. Had a free burger coupon and their system took off the cheapest item on our tab. Waste of $2.50 since I should have asked for a separate check. Inanity/cheapness reigns.Old review: Salmon and corn salad was actually pretty good. Would have been nice to have had a little bit healthier mix of greens, but no biggie. Truffle fries were decent; however, they came out cold and were kind of a rip at nine dollars for what was equivalent to not much more than a small from McDonald’s. My boyfriend enjoyed his impossible burger. Service was pretty slow, which was rather disappointing given that we told our waitress we were trying to make a movie when we initially sat down.

Wahlburgers is by far one of my favorite places when Im in Boston. The burgers are fresh, dressed perfectly and the tots are amazing. I prefer mine well done and they dont mind cooking them a little longer for me. My kids love the cupcakes too!!

The place is great. Burgers are delicious. Outside seating is nice. Place does fill up quick.

been wanting to come here for a while now. drove cross country from San Francisco and made it a point to stop at the Fenway location for lunch. the burgers were great! cooked perfectly, not greasy. fries were fresh, hot. the staff was super nice. manager Phil (?stopped by to check on us. loved it!! will definitely be back. next time, Im hoping to see Paul!

Got the bacon bbq burger to go. Luckily I checked when I left there was no avocado or jalapeños and only half a piece of cheese. Went back and asked for the stuff that should be on the burger. The person at front was helpful but the cook was rude about it. Overpriced $11.72 and overhyped.

We had gone to Whalburgers years ago and decided to go back while in Boston for a concert, and the food was amazing! The burgers are very good, and my coffee frappe was unbelievable! However, there are some other options if you dont want a burger. My one complaint is that it took around 40 minutes for our food to arrive, and they were having trouble with others orders. However, they were busy, so it may be due to that. Overall, great experience. Be sure to stop here if youre in the area and like burgers!

We ordered Our burgers, truffle fries, and spinich parmesan wahlbites. The burgers were really good, super moist, and are all served medium. The spinich parm bites and fries were were very tasty the dips were great. Burgers dont come with and sides, its à la carte. The staff were very friendly. Definitely a must try

Was very surprised, you can tell the Wahlburg family takes pride in their restaurants. Service was great and the food was on point - very close to Fenway Park and a nice area to spend a little time in before or right after a flight.

Wow this place was so good. I know its kind of a chain now but this location was so good. My son and I came in two hours before a Sox game and we got right in. Our server was so nice and sweet. My son got the regular burger but I got Jenns chicken sandwich and it was amazing. I cant say enough about how good everything was. Highly Recommend

I Traveled to Boston and one of my stops on my trip was this wahlburgers and I was looking forward to it after eating at one years ago at the airport but in those years it has really went downhill. To me its not much different then eating at McDonalds except to be honest the food wasnt as good as the Golden arches. So if u have a chance I would skip eating at wahlburgers until they remember how to make a good meal.

BBQ bacon Burger... DELISH! (Donny has good taste). The chili is a winner and the drinks were perfect. Not priced like a typical "celebrity" restaurant. It was Awesome and delicious and I wish they would open a Wahlburgers in Central Maine! Loved it!

The melt was delicious as well as the trio-tots combo. The in house beer was also great! Good food all around.

Ok, I found myself in the area and laughingly said hey why not try this gimmick place. Well after I got my Monster burger, I can honestly say this place is not a gimmick. Honestly the single Monster burger looked small, but I am writing this and full. It was shocking to find the food want that much more than Five Guys, so pretty reasonably priced.

At Wahlburgers on Brookline Avenue in Boston, a customer can order at the cashier and bring the food to the front counter facing the street to eat or sit at one of the tables where a server takes the order. I chose the former. I had the open-faced Sloppy Joe Burger with fried onions and pickles. Very delicious. I checked the menu today and I didnt see it there anymore.

Tim was the best server we’ve had in our entire experience living in Boston. He was patient, clear, understanding, and tentative! He made our experience at Wahlburgers a definitive 5 star. The food was incredible, we’ll be coming back!

My wife and I stopped in after the Sox game for a casual dinner before heading back to the hotel. My wife had a burger and I had the fried chicken sandwich. Both of us got the onion rings. The food was great. The rings were a new style for us and our server, Ana, suggested dipping them in Wahl’s sauce -which we did. All in all, great food, great price, and very attentive and friendly service from Ana. A GOOD experience!

We are visiting Boston from Florida and wanted to experience Wahlburgers. It was a fabulous experience. Each staff member was friendly and helpful. Our waitress made suggestions and was very kind. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming. It was clean and has great prices.

Went in late (~10pmafter a Red sox game and was seated immediately. We ordered cheese burgers and a salmon salad with sweet potatoe tater tots. Portion sizes were small to medium but everything tasted good (though salmon was a bit dry). The service attentive, prompt and friendly. Enjoyed the decor showing the Walhburgs cinema/media history/stories. Definitely a solid buger joint to swing by especially on a late night with few options.

I was visiting my sister in law on a weekend road trip with my wife and we wanted to visit a new burger restaurant because the service at other burger restaurants werent good. I just want to say that being a first time customer and coming to Wahlburgers that I was welcomed with a friendly greeting and was sat very promptly. I was taken very care of by the waiter. His name is Justin. I want to commend him for making my experience at Wahlburgers to be very satisfying. He went out of his way to help us with ordering and recommended items on the menu to possibly get.

Went with my sons. Weisualy go to the South bay location because its closer. The waitress was wicked good. She had a great energy. Wish the menu would have a little more variety but the fried pickles and Mac and cheese were very good. Love love the Cupcakes. It gets wicked crowded on game days so I wouldnt recommend going then. But a none game day or afternoon its nice.They have a outside patio in the back too. I wish theyd have had in Dot. Theres Outside seating at the original store too.

The food was pretty good, just what youd expect from a joint like this. The bbq burger was very juicy and delicious, so were the fries and buffalo chicken wings. Of course, you feel like your arteries are about to clot after eating this greasy and delicious meal, but thats why you came here for! Unfortunately, the waiters and other service personnel seemed unorganized and were not that friendly. Therefore minus one star (food very good tho)

First time here and couldn’t have had a better experience. The staff was great, seated us immediately, and our waitress Ally was excellent. The burgers came out very fast and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was electric during the Red Sox game. I highly recommend this location.

Impossible burger is amazing. Recommend it alongside a Boston Lager before a Red Sox game. Beers are cheaper than in the stadium too.

Went in with a group of 6. We read the menu and thought we were ready. As we made our order our server asked to try something else, not in a bad way, but wipes out a flyer with items that hadnt made it on the current menu. Turns out.....YES! The Monster Burger line was excellent. We also got the fried pickles and truffle fries that were all amazing. Fish sandwich was hearty and moist.My only gripe was where we were sat. We asked to be sat inside and we were....right in front of the open door. Asked if they would close the door and it took a little time to get the key. But that is the ONLY reason I give 4 stars.

Visited Boston and obviously needed to stop in here to check it out. We went a decent time after a Red Sox game so it wasnt too crowded. We were doing dine in and we were directed right away by the guys in the front to the hostess around the corner. The hostess that night was very impersonal, not necessarily rude but just like she had better places to be. The waiter was much better, he was very genuine and easy going. Tater tots were interesting and definitely not a common find. Burger was good but Ive had better but at the price point, its still good value. Ordered the adult birthday cake shake and it was pretty good. Considering the price, waiter, and taters Id definitely go back if I were to visit again.

Our time at Wahlburgers was magical in more ways than one. This was our first experience because of not living in the proximity of Boston. But we will definitely be back anytime we have the chance. The staff was very accommodating and interested in hearing our stories. Four out of five of us live with disabilities ranging from mild autism to cerebral palsy. We knew the odds of meeting Mark Wahlberg was a tall order and not realistic. But we were hoping to run into his brother, Chef Paul Wahlberg who co-founded this chain and is obviously the brother of Mark Wahlberg. The restaurant decided to get in touch with Paul just to see what happens. Lo and behold…they have us the message that he will be here in one hour. We are coming back to meet him in person. The food was phenomenal, but most important…I have never been to a restaurant in 40 years of my life where everything was literally perfect. Nobody was merely going through the motions and did everything possible to make our visit as memorable as possible including having the head honcho make a special appearance just to enhance our Wahlburger’s experience. The servers of Ali, Lois, and the general manager of Seth took the time out of their schedules to converse with us for a few minutes.

This is a great place to get a bite after a Red Sox game. My daughter and I both had burgers and they were delicious; actually, I may enjoy the tater tots more than anything! The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained and the staff is friendly and courteous. I will definitely return!

We waited for a bit to get seated, since they were trying to seat 35 people before us in an empty place. Then we got our food which by the way, if you want a side with your burger youll have to pay for it. We got the double decker and the sweet potato tots with tasted like to much grease. And the ofd whic it has tomato jam but it was to much of so it overpowers it , got the kale salad with it was ok.So by far for the experience of the first time at this burgers was so-so.But definitely there are better places out there.

I had jamie as a waitress and have never received such great service. From the start she was warm and welcoming, wearing a huge smile on her face. She immediately offered us drinks, and while giving us the menu guided us in the right direction with recommendations based off of our interests! I chose to get the barbecue bacon cheeseburger, a solid classic, and she brought it out in what seemed like no time at all. After trying it, it was a bit undercooked and she brought it back with a smile on her face, reassuring us she wouldn’t let that happen again. The rest of the lunch went well, and having her was a delight. Very outgoing and made me feel taken care of! This one’s a keeper Wahlburgers, take care of her. ;)

Had to check it out because we watched a TV series. Our visit to the Boston area had to include one of the famous landmarks that we watched on television. Had a very enjoyable staff experience and the food was amazing. I need to say they don’t serve small portions so be careful while ordering. My eyes were bigger than my stomach that day and enjoyed the great spirits. if I lived here it would be a frequent stop for sure.

Food is yummy. Easily accommodated our party of 7. Service is friendly and attentive. We had several of the burgers, impossible burger, chicken sandwich, several appetizers, and several sides we shared. Plus, non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Everyone enjoyed the food, drinks, and easy going, clean atmosphere. Highly recommend to go and try them out! A bonus for us was to meet Paul W, the owner. He is such a sweet gentleman and genuinely appreciated our patronage and spent time speaking to us and other tables. Positive experience.

Great location just down the street from Fenway Park. Can order to go or pop to dine in. We got there about 90 minutes before the gates opened for the game and had a 20 min wait to go, but the closer to the game the more time is needed to get your food. Burger was excellent, the fries were average and the truffle tots were awesome! Friendly staff and quick service, now to decide which tee shirt I should buy!

We were hyped to go here while in Boston. Very happy that they didn’t disappoint! Very clean, prices good and the food was good! Great service!

As always, another fabulous Wahlburgers experience. Our food was amazing, the hostess was such a nice young lady...chatting with us while we waited to be seated. Melissa our server, an OG Blockhead was very attentive and you can tell she loves her job. Bonus, during this visit we got to see Paul. He really is the MVP!!! He was clearing and cleaning tables, delivering food...heck he even was mopping the floor. With all that being said he still took a moment so my kids could get an updated picture. We went during a busy weekend when nkotb was in town for a concert so of course more than the usual amount of blackheads were there! Service was great they were out of a few things we wanted but thats to be expected in such a popular location. Wait staff was helpful and attentive.

Best bar/grill Ive been to in some time and Im a Jersey girl! Food was fantastic, I recommend the Jenn salad and my sister said, BEST burger ever! Our bartender, Awash and the older women that worked with him were FANTASTIC! Paul Walberger was bussing tables and greeting the customers with an amazing attitude! Best experience Ive had!!

Loved mom’s favorite Chili, and ordered Donny’s favorite BBQ burger no bun. The sauce was great. It was suppose to be with pickles, avocado or jalapeños but I didn’t have any. I didn’t notice till after. Maybe that’s why the burger seemed average to me. Price is great. Good vibes with all the pictures and posters around the walls. Me being a NKOTB fan for 30+ years and visiting Boston for the first time, this place was a must for me. Known about the restaurant for many years and couldn’t wait to visit.

BBQ Burger without bun was not cooked to my request/liking. Server quickly returned with a replacement that was perfect! Truffle fries and spinach parm bites on the side. Super friendly staff!

We came on a Thursday before going to a Red Sox game. There was no wait and the host sat us right away. The only issue was as he greeted us, he coughed right in our faces without covering his mouth and proceeded to tell us he was not sick.The service was great and our food was out quick. Everything tasted good. The mac & cheese was a bit cold but still good. The best part was Thursdays is kids eat free.

I forget the name of this burger but it had an Avocado spread and it was delicious! The fries were awesome as well as the tater tots! My picky 5 year old loved the Macaroni and cheese and fries. Service was fast and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Cool atmosphere, our table was very clean when we arrived and the bathroom was very clean as well! We will definitely stop in again!
