These guys know their curry goat and their jerk burger. Excellent food, but not that fast so expect to wait a bit or call ahead with your order.

Outstanding jerk. Never thought wed find this in West Virginia. Perfectly balanced heat, delightful plantains, and great rice and peas. No pretension here, just great food. Ordered takeout while eating!

These have to be the best wings in WV! Jerk BBQ was excellent. Everybody in our group loved their meals and the service is A+.

Adrian is the owner, chef with a great personality. His curries were better here than on the islands. Loved the food here.

I live in Abingdon, Virginia and when I come visit my family in town, I love coming by here for dinner. The food is delicious and the guys who work here are great. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent place to stop for a quick bite! The cooks are super friendly and the food is to die for because of the flavors and it being authentic. We had the jerk chicken while on a road trip and it was the best we could have asked for and hit the spot. Be sure to stop by and give it a try, this is a must go!

A little jamaican jerk in the hills of wv good stuff authentic food

Love this place! Its both good and authentic. Adrian will sort you out. They have a wide menu with all the classics (jerk Chicken, jerk pork, oxtail, curry goat....And some delicious new twists like the tropi-naan flat bread, burgers, and TRY THE WINGS! Overall a gen in the Greenbrier valley. Been here dozens of times and the while menu will leave you licking your fingers.

We had a very delicious meal here-- the reggae shrimp and oxtail & beans! Flavor-packed and authentic. We were passing through town and pleasantly surprised to stumble into this cozy diner-esque Jamaican spot with an adorable and well-organized kitchen. The chef/owner has a humble pride in his awesome creations and really takes care of his customers. He accommodated my friends rice allergy, too, which can often be hard to do with Jamaican food. We will definitely stop here again on our next trip through White Sulphur Springs. Thank you!

Great food, friendly staff, good prices. We took a break from the Greenbrier prices and just a short drive away is this wonderful hole in the wall. We had the Chicken Curry and it was delicious.

You gotta love this place-a Jamaican restaurant in West Virginia. An absolutely friendly little diner with really authentic food. My wife had chicken curry and I had goat curry both of which were great. The owner is really committed to this and it was fantastic to chat with him while eating. If in White Sulphur Springs do yourself a favor and eat here

This place is my new reason to got to White Sulphur Springs. Love to see this place going strong. The menu is big and the flavors are bigger. It wont be long before they are trying to add a few more tables outside. Do not miss the BBQ Jerk wings.

This place is great! The food is very fresh, and it tastes incredible.This isnt a place for a larger group of people though since there are only 5 or so seats in the diner, but still worth it for carry out!

Great meal!! Its hard to find authentic Jamaican dishes and Wah Gwaan Diner does it right. If you want a taste of the island dont pass them by. The salmon was excellent.

Authentic food chooses...very pleasant service and great Jamaican food

Unparalleled flavor bomb, these folks really know their food, especially the spice and taste profile. Plenty of heat in the coconut curry shrimp to light you up, but not take over your pallet; no doubt they could adjust either way depending on your tastebuds feistiness. Couldnt be nicer, more welcoming people with a unique adventure to offer and fun atmosphere. Will be making Wah Gwaan a weekly stop so I can eat my way through the menu and start all over again when I do. Amazing gem, thank you Adrian & crew for sharing your talent!

My wife and I stopped here, not sure what to expect, as we had never had authentic Jamaican food, and this is completely different than anything else White Sulphur Springs or Lewisburg had to offer. We were nothing short of impressed, from he hospitality shown by the owners, to the amazing depth of flavor in their food. Unfortunately, they were out of the spiced fried chicken, but the jerk chicken was AMAZING...Smokey and spiced perfectly, and unlike anything Id had before. My wife had braised pork and it was also nothing short of amazing. If you try nothing else here, get a beef pie or two (a little heat, but, again, the depth of flavor was unlike anything we had before).To the owners -- we will be back in the area next year and look forward to coming back, if we dont manage to stop on the way home tomorrow. Keep it up!

Authentic Jamaican food, which I highly recommend . If you dont see what you want on the menu, order it in advance.
