Wadi Namar Waterfall in Riyadh

Always refreshing.Best Place to do barbecue.Just take care there is a devoted place for barbecue in Nimar. Better ask the service staff where to do it, otherwise you would get a fine of 3000 sar.

Its good to entertain for the family.We can bring the stove there we can cook whatever we wish.Also the fish in the pond we can do fish therapy.

If you are coming here by looking Google maps there are 3 points through which you can enter1. Entrance : Upper area of the Dam .here you have the following facilities* Bathroom* Salah* View is very limited .* cooking / fooding2. Entrance : Palm area through the Dam* bathroom / salah / cooking/ fooding area available* this is the best view area entrance .* Palms , children playing areas / Dam water etc.. adds the attractions.3. Entrance : parking area downsideBoth the 2 and 3 areas comes to the downside of the Dam . Both gives you a very good point of view .It’s seen that sometimes one among the three entrance has been closed occasionally. Kindly use the other two to enter rather than assuming that the spot is closed .Usually it’s seen that 2 or 3 is restricted or closed during crowded times .I strongly recommend to come to the downside area of the waterfalls 2/3 .

Amazing place for family gathering and to have fresh air

The entrance to top side is tucked away in a little neighborhood in far South Riyadh..due west 3- 5 k? of the Bus station at Azzizzzya. (Use Google)Beautiful view!!! Great sunsets. nice barbecue picnic area with typical sand ( bring rugsand Large brick BBQ pits. Good public toilet. No vendors.bring your own water etc.

Perfect tranquil place within Riyadh, situated in a valley.. Kids will like it more with all those fish and ducks. A recommended place for families!Ps: No convenience stores in the vicinity.

Wadi e Namar waterfall good and enjoyable, especially afternoon as during day waterfall is closed.There are nice ducks and fish in water to look and spend some time.

Good place to hang out with family/friends but except for the TRASHES everywhere 😬 🗑 All in all, the falls and the ducks in the lake were pleasing to the eyes.

Beautiful views, can see fishes in the water. There are prayer rooms and toilets and you can see waterfall from the bottom. Highly recommend it. Absolutely stunning 😍 food and water is not available as of yet so please bring lots of water with you. Its very pretty in real life.

This lake is a good spot to visit with family and friends in order to spend quality time. People often plan picnics and arrange barbeques at a short distance away as they are not allowed near the lake. The area is filled with greenery and palm trees beside the sidewalks and there are hills surrounding the lake. All of this makes the landscape even more pleasing to the eye.An electronic water pump has also been installed in the lake. The waterfall beside the lake is a beautiful sight, especially at night when viewed from the WadiNamar promenade when all the lights are lit up. Some ducks and fish can be seen swimming around in the water. There is enough area for families to play sports and ride bicycles. Other facilities such as food stalls and restrooms are also available. Locals especially enjoy this place as it is one of the few natural lakes in Riyadh, so the area can get a little busy and crowded on weekends.

It is one of the attractions that attracts both residents and visitors of the region, due to its enchanting natural beauty, refreshing atmosphere, and a small lake in which ducks swim. It is suitable for taking special souvenir photos near it; And the beauty of this waterfall increases a lot on rainy days

Nice place to spend weekend with family, there we have the fire pit for preparing foods. Bring your campaign items you can enjoy yourself with family. Need to bring food and water, food is not available inside that area. More space available, good space for parking.weccan see an artificial water fall and spending time besides the lake. And the lake has ducks and fishes. It is the one of the good place for relaxation.

The atmosphere here so good but is quiet dangerous for kids to play in top area. Bcs the ground aren’t flat.

This place is very good for barbecue, sitting out side for sun, kids can enjoy, have sun bath, you can drive further after dam and water fall , if need more quiet place go further down, , there is near by al baik if you interested for broast or nuggets, bring water with you, public restrooms are still in progress, you can have long drive for this road, there is way out to dirab side if you dont want to come back and would like to avoid traffic jam in the dam area, leave from dirab side ,

This is one of the best place to visit in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. The waterfall is scenic and the ducks In the reservoir are amazing to look at in this dry region.if ur lucky u can find small fish in water, opposite to waterfall nice seating area where u can seat, eat, play there. Lot’s of parking area for car parking, washroom r neat and clean, and above waterfall from where it starts u can see free area where u can seat play and eat there, children play area is specially there

One of the best park in Riyadh. Its situated near Dhirab area. This park has been developed in extended Wadi Hafina. Good place to enjoy and recreational activities. Theres a big lake downside where people sit and enjoy. Barbecue option in open. Parking space available. Washrooms are other facilities are open now. If you visit during evening you can enjoy the lighting as well.

Amazing spot for bbq with very less crowd these days. Even on weekends.Bbq is not allowed near the lake. Can be done on the opposite side.

A beautiful and serene place to enjoy. You can do bbq here. Kids can ride bicycles and they even have play areas for kids.

Very scenic wadi and dam area. Lots of greenery and fresh air. Area is well developed and ideal for picnicking. Quite a few ducks and ducklings swimming around. Tons of fish of all sizes that look for food close to the surface. An electronic pumped waterfall adds to the ambiance in the afternoon.

Wadi namar viewing park is a good entertainment for all ages. Here the view is very good in top wadi namar dam park.Just put it in Google map, it takes you in upper area of the park and its very good for viewing the real scenarios of the area.Here some places are there for family and may you come little bit early and get the place because of crowd. You may start to come immediately after asar, so that you can get some good sitting area in the top park view.Getting more relax and enjoy the natural sceneries. Parking also available.Praying area is allocated for both male and female with toilet facilities.And family may come with their utensils for making grill and enjoy

This is the Upper view point of the waterfall.There is a lot of space for making grill. Also get a nice sunset.But for getting the view of water fall you should go down. It will take 10 min drive from this location. Here you will get lots of parking. It is hard to find parking down side during Fridays and holidays. Evening it is little bit crowded.

Assalam u alaikum friends !!.We went for a drive today , as usual we had no idea till we were in car , that heading where??So decided to visit the Wadi Namar water fall site .it was a nice place to sit , walk , bbq , n family gatherings ,and the weather was really complimenting our walk there 🤗🤗..Today it wasn’t that much crowded ,Wasn’t much families up there except my family n one another family , doing bbq..😉Many down hill. .Nice place

First visit today. I had impression that this spot is only for families but I found only 40% families and rest individuals with out families, which automatically ruined your evening. It was hard to find today a place to sit peacefully with family.Plus many people were not following written rules hence ..... authorities to look into it.Facility is good with very perfect access. Too many parkings space. Abs spot to enjoy.Yes one should visit this place regularly.Upper side a lot of bbq area.Ground level bbq not allowed but people were not taking care and making bbq.To be frank bbq at ground level besides the water lake is dangerous. Surely it’s a safety issue. People have to think before they start bbq at a place which Is not allowed.In summer one should reach by 540 pm time to enjoy our early morning.

Unfortunately, artificial waterfall is not working in January. Overall, nice place for a walk. Take some water with you if going there in the first half of the day, as all ventures are opening from around 15:00. A lot of things to do with kids. Open fire and shisha is prohibited, though it seems not to be an obstacle for locals.

One of the best spots in Riyadh to be spend time with family and friends, there is a small waterfall, you can find the ducks in the lake, there is a lot o space available for cooking if you want to do so, lot of people doing BBQ here. You can see the fish in the lake, but fishing and swimming not allowed ove here. Highly recommended place, add this place to your must see list.
