Wabi-Sabi Noodle House Tomas Morato - Japanese restaurant in Malolos, Philippines
Stroll one of the best vegan resto for very delicious quick fix.
Their ramen was awesome, it tasted like authentic Japanese ramen however their gyoza was disappointing because it tasted like a dessert because of too much sweetness. Overall this Japanese restaurant is good. We will definitely come back.
It exceeded our expectations! Their food is top-notch. Ordered almost all in their menu. I really love their ramen. Its different from all the ramen restos ive tried so far. This is the best one for me. Surprisingly that all in their menu were affordable yet super delicious. I love their corn and cheese tempura (special mention). Highly recommended. Well definitely come back especially during the rainy/cold season. Bonus is their shaved ice. Heaven 🤍
Chill spot. Service staff are nice and attentive. All Kakigori flavors are amazing! Will come back again!
Ample outdoor seating, good selection of vegetarian ramen. Their famous kakigori is limited to the weekends.
A small pop-up store, we only had dessert here, Dessert was superb. was amazed at how they managed to use the tiny space and make the place look so cozy.Taste 9/10Quality 9/10Service 10/10Ambiance 9/10Price 10/10Parking 4/10
Coming from a fasting process, I was very hungry when i got to this resto this afternoon, July 8, 2022. So I asked the staff , what meal was the fastest to prepare so I can just order some meals ahead of the others, like soup or an entree maybe to prep my stomach too. But to no avail. The staff was very rude and said “wala lahat niluluto”! And I said “so sabay sabay talaga lahat ang pagluluto sa kanila?” She responded “lahat yan niluluto”! Okay. Fine. But this is my first and last time to dine here coz I dont deserve such disrespect.
Im not a vegan nor a vegetarian, but food is so good here i crave for their tantanmen and veggie chicharon sometimes ♥️
Ordered Shoyu Ramen, Vegetarian Unagi and Okonomi. Flavour’s kinda sweet for my expected taste for these dishes. Mostly outdoor dining. Feels homey and relaxed, though. Went here 7pm on a weekday.
good food! best place if youre looking for vegetarian food around QC and Manila
Small place with really good food.I love their tantanmen and okonomigyoza ❤️
Drawn to this place by all the positive reviews, not realizing its a vegetarian resto. Its a pleasant surprise though because of the creative way they were able to come up with a meatless menu thats Vietnamese (ban mhiJapanese (ramen& Chinese (siomai/cuapao). Not a fan of their ramen - noodles on the firm side, the broth though flavorful cant pass as truly authentic. But pricewise, itll do. And yes, taking out the meat leaves you full, sans the heavy-fullness guilty feeling.Would I recommend the place? Yes! When youre tired of the usual fare, Wabi-Sabi is an alternative. Would be going back to try the other items on their menu.
Lovely staff, yummy healthy cruelty - free food!!!
Affordable vegan friendly restaurant.Food tastes great too!
A Vegan joint but very limited selection and their regular serving is basically just snack size. Even their side dish of Chahan is about less than 2 tablespoon. While the taste is just ok, I would rather look for another place offering vegan food in the area. Oh and service too is so so.
If i have to say that this place have two strong points, its vegan and price. One of the key elements of a good ramen is in its broth, since the shoyu ramen (which i would recommendbroth is vegetable base, there is a hint of umami in the ramen. Not an easy thing considering its all veggie stock. The other thing ive ordered are the mushroom siomai and their veggie siopao... delicious. The price on the other hand is surprisingly afforrdable (starting at PhP190you get your vegan moneys worth.
Ramen is so good you wouldnt even realize that its vegan ❤️
My fave Japanese restaurant! Get the Tantanmen Ramen, veggie unagi and Lemongrass Iced Tea. Yummmm!
Great place for ramen. You wont notice that its vegan. 😁
Then and now, it is a great place to not just enjoy good company but also great food! When I think of QC, I think of this place a lot. Their Tantanmen and Matcha desserts are our fav pick.
Ive tried EVERYTHING on their menu. Its all good. Just wish their service came with a smile because everyone who works there looks like they wish they were somewhere else..
Best vegan ramen house! Broth is flavorful. Servings are filling. Also liked the banh mi and the "fried eel". Not a fan of their gyoza.
Excellent Veg ramens and Noodle Soups. Though menu can use some new items every now and then and place is still cash only despite being years old.
Comfort food doesnt have to expensive. This cute place serves delicious noodle soups at an affordable price (compared to the main stream noodle restos). The feels of the place is very casual yet homey. Its just small so not a lot of customers can be accommodated. But overall, I like to go back to this place after a long day from work and order their noodles!
One of my fave restaurants. Definitely a go-to for asian comfort food. A lot of the dishes can be veganized
Healthy food. Light in the stomach since there are no meat but you wont be able to tell the difference.
My #1 go-to, I even celebrate my birthday every year here. Great vegetarian food at an affordable price. You can score a big bowl of delicious ramen for under P200! Also, my brother enjoyed eating here for over a year before he realized that everything on the menu is vegetarian! Accommodations are also made for vegans.Always friendly staff, good music, and a cool selection of magazines to browse.
Food is great. Service is matter of fact. My go-to place for Vegetarian and Vegan Ramen, dumplings and more 😊
For me, its the best place to grab some ramen. Whats better is they are vegetarian and they have vegan options. The food is really delicious. Sulit ang bayad.
I’d give this place three and a half stars if not for the service and lack of information on the menu board. There is no description of anything - so you have to ask about each individual item you’re interested in and hope that your server is listening and will give you clear, accurate information (ours did not). The food is tasty - mushroom shu mai are substantial and deliciously mushroomy, gyoza itself is just okay but the okonomiyaki dressing makes it extra yummy, and ramen noodles are springy and chewy. Skip the fried spring rolls - oily and odd tasting. The cua pao is also a miss - no pickled mustard and no flavour. If you are vegan, you MUST state this clearly and ask for confirmation when your order is being taken. If you need any changes to the dish (like omitting the veggie meat in the ramenyou need to make double sure that the staff understand what you are asking for. I’m not sure if our server was having an off day but it was like pulling teeth to ask for sharing plates and extra sauce bowls.
My fave vegetarian/vegan resto of all time! If it werent for them I would not have tasted ramen. Thanks Wabi-Sabi! 💓💓💓
Great service and amazing food! For the portion size, the price is more than reasonable. I went to this restaurant 3 times in 1 week because I wanted to try everything on the menu. Its that good. I also didnt notice it was all vegetarian. Its delicious food and its also good for you.
Favorite vegan noodle house! So worth the money!
I was transported to another city altogether! I first thought it to be a ramen house which turned out to be one asian cubby hole serving vegetarian version of asias famous meals!
Incredible food choices! Start your vegan journey with this place!
After staying in QC for 5 weeks, this is by far my favourite spot to eat. The staff are friendly and happy to help. Each dish is packed full of flavour and delicious vegetarian ingredients. I’m working my way through the menu and I’m yet to be disappointed! I can recommend the Wabi Sabi Ramen and the Bahn Mi.
Great tasting Vegan Japanese food and a bit of Vietnamese too in their menu. Two thumbs up!
I was curious about this place since they had good reviews and it was completely vegetarian. I had the Shoyu ramen which was served piping hot, with tasty broth and chewy noodles (which we enjoyed), I wondered how the chasu would taste so we ordered extra to add to our ramen...it was sweet and salty with a bite. It didnt feel.like it was veggie meat at all. The ramen tasted and felt like the real deal. We also had the potstickers, corn and cream cheese tempura, lemongrass tea and milk tea which were all good. The only reason I am.not giving this a 5 star rating is that I wish the place was a little bigger and that the servers were more attentive. ☺
Always yummy healthy Asian fusion food.
Super cute area off Timog. Cozy and good for a date. Affordable and good service. All vegetarian.
One of the best vegetarian food options in Quezon City! Must try their Tantanmen, Corn and Cream Cheese Tempura and Veggie Cracklings! My kids love this place.
A place for vegans who loves noodles. The noodles are chewy so prepare for a chewy noodle experience. They sell squash chips and vegan fish sauce. As well.Suprisingly the vegan meat is tasty and tastes like real meat.We had a unique and an eye opener to the vegan world, a one of a kind experience.
Excellent vegetarian restaurant
Came in not really knowing it was a vegetarian place. Which is a good thing since I didn’t have preconceptions on how it would taste like. The tantanmen was good. As well as the shoyu and shio ramen. You only do a “Hey, wait a minute...” when you start biting into the chasyu. The ramen noodle was also a bit firmer than what I was used to but still good. The banmih fooled me. For a moment I thought I was biting into charsiu pork. 😊
its a small place with food that is big on flavor! ramen serving size is adequate for its reasonable price. tantanmen is my favorite - its a rich and flavorful ramen!
Whether youre a vegetarian or not, ramen-lover or just so, youll definitely love Wabi-Sabis selections! I also often see groups of friends and families eating here whenever I visit.Must-try:**Mains:Wabi-SabiTantanmenTom Yum**Sides:UnagiVeggie CracklingsCorn puffs w/ cream cheese**Drinks:GenmaichaThai milk teaCa phe
Not the best but itll do for its price. Highly recommended for Vegan.
Good value. Ordered Tantanmen and Banh Mi. Disappointed with the burned, charred meat. Ramen is too firm. Hard to cut and chew.
Good food, quiet place, nice crew.
They made their Ramen affordable but didnt sacrifice the taste and the serving.
