I’m new to Ocala. I was referred by a friend. This food is really good!

They surprised me! fiance had grits w/gravy smothered pork chops & eggs. I had eggs cheese grits & link sausage! Sooo good & portions & price made the meal most desirable

Food was good Lima beans couldve had a lot less salt and thicker gravy also Macaroni and cheese was very good and also the green beans with potatoes the corn bread needs to be bigger and thicker also need more homemade baked goods to offer

They food was good the day i went, but has not been the same since mr wayne passed

Nice smelling place ever. If u walk in there during lunch time and not get to looking at that menu u crazy they are the beez knees

First time visiting. Glad we came in for breakfast! Catfish and grits were perfect!

My favorite turkey wings and they were good. Mac and cheese was good also. They only serve this item on Thursday. Sorry no photos I forgot

WAYNES KITCHEN is a very enjoyable place to go and get good soul food through out the week. Ther a different menu every day of the week. The employee are very nice also.

My first time trying Waynes but it wont be my last. I understand why theyre always busy. I had breakfast and it was the best Ive had from a restaurant.

The food is always what you expect, customer service is a step above the rest, however store cleanliness leaves A LOT to be desired.

Best meal Ive ever had. It was so good I had lunch for breakfast.. chicken quartets, mac n ch, greens, and yellow rice.. mmmm yummy 😋

I will never return to this place based off of the people who work there. I was made to be laughed at by a staff member while waiting for my food. And because Im not a regular there it was very uncomfortable having all the other people who are regulars laugh at me with her. Thats something a customer should not have to deal with

Its a good place to get your breakfast made fresh and lemonade also made fresh. The price is not bad either. Their dinner I had couple times tasted good as well, that good soul food!

Drove up to Ocala for the day from Orlando and tried this place because of the reviews....food was terrible!My cousin who lives in Ocala said the soul food restaurant in Dunnellon was a whole lot better!

Your staff should wash her hands with soap and water not hand sanitizer after operating the cash register. Almost walked out if another employee had not stepped forward with an apron and washing his hands before serving customers. 1 star for that 4 for the taste and how the dinner was presented on the plate.

Incredibly impressed with the food. I have only eaten here once as of now because I just discovered it, but will definitely be going back. EVERYTHING on my plate was excellent and gone with nothing left over!!!

Love Love LOVE! This hidden diamond is fabulous just fabulous. Friendly staff, GREAT food, real southern home grown Kinda portions. Yum Yum!! You have to look close to find it though because it is with gas station.

I paid 16$ for a meal. The yellow rice, & greens were good. However, I ask for ribs...lord, still cannot figure out what the meat was! Any who, asked for a cup of ice, told .50cents, can you believe the woman wouldnt give me a break because I only had my card and only a 5$ charge when I just paid over 16$ for a meal, that I threw away meat to only be left with rice & greens! Booooooo! Never again will I spend my money at Waynes Kitchen 🥺😡😠 Thanks to the nice customer that offered to pay the fifty cents for my cup of ice 😔

Waynes Kitchen provided the best food ever for my mothers funeral. I appreciated they were able to cook up fresh on a Sunday morning all my mothers favorite foods in her honor! Everyone said it was the best fried chicken they ever had! Thanks Waynes Kitchen!

The best Soul Food in town! Me and my husband loves Wayne Kitchen good food and deserts. Please go by the kitchen and taste for yourselves. Its good.

The fried catfish meal was decent but you can tell the fish wasnt fresh and the cornbread doesnt taste like cornbread...🤔. However, the macaroni and cheese was delicious!!

Im from Ocala, I now reside in California and every time I come home this is where I eat!!The Great Northern Beans were scrumptious, reminded me of my mothers. I always order double mac and cheese. Dont worry about the address; go directly and do your heart and soul a favor!!!!

The food here was soooooo good and the folks super friendly forsure goin again.

I went cause the picture of the oxtails looks so good. Got Macaroni and Cheese and collards chicken wings and oxtails. Chicken wings were great. Everything else not so great. But I could have went on the wrong day. I cook so I know how how it is. But for 12 dollars them oxtails gotta be on point always.

Amit has done a great job with his family owned business. Wayne goes above and beyond when it comes to preparation. I have spoken very highly of this business and would recommend it to all. Excellent food, great customer service.

Always tastes good, huge portions, great value for the money.. only glitch is servers dont wear hair nets (have never found a stray hair but still).

We got the chicken and cornbread and rice with oxtail gravy and mac n cheese and greens....the most amazing southern home cooking you will ever taste!!!!! This is to die for delicious....I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants home cooking like your Granny would make!!!! I will be eating here again!!!

Waynes is definitely a hole in the wall joint, but as is often true of such places, their food is INCREDIBLE. I wouldnt call myself much of a "vegetable person", but Ive gone back more than once just for their green beans. If youre not worried about a glamorous ambiance, and you want ferociously delicious food, Waynes is your place.
