Vyasa Maharshi Cave - Historical place in Dharmābād, India
Such A Beutiful Place, The Place To Meditate At Such a Difficult Location is Very Admirable
Small way to enter the caveVery calm and peaceful inside
The place is no doubt historic but no cleanliness people throw trash ,The temple should take this strictly and take necessary actions and rules for betterment
Feel happy to visit this place..

For whole tour of this place you may require long time (2-3 hrs). The cave is small and for want to go in cave youve to pay 5rs. Per person.Youll get counter for your shoes and mobile phone , theyll safely store your things until you came back from tour. Theyll charge 20rs for bag and 10rs for mobile phone.

Small cave of Maharshi Veda Vyasa. They take 10/- per head for darshan, not recommended for those who have back pain of spinal issues.
We couldnt reach this place. I was confused seeing the location map and so we didnt explore this place at all. No boards to guide us or tell us about this place or its heritage.
This cave has a narrow entrance and one has to wriggle through it to enter the small enclosure. Here one can see the marble idol of sage Veda Vyasa. Legend says that Veda Vyasa stayed here during his meditation.Sage Suka decided to rest in a calm and serene ambience after the Kurukshetra war. In the quest for a peaceful abode, he came to Dandaka forest and pleased with serenity of the region, selected this place.Since Maharishi Vyasa spent considerable time in prayers, the place was then called Vasara and turned into Basara.
Very nice placeA bit of adventure is needed
Nice place, very small cave, only people can go on their knees, but very pleasant inside, must visit place
The cave is so intrested
Vyasa maharshi guha is located inside saraswati temple premises. It has nearly 20 to 25 steps..Small place takes some 5 min to complete the visit.Entry fee: 5 rs.
The entrance to the cave is very small. But thats how it is! One of the places you must visit if you go to Basar.
Very interesting place. It will check your BMI to enter. If you are not fit n healthy then it will be a tough task for you to enter this cave and come out. Bhagvan vyasas history is well portrayed here. But it is not complete. I think the temple trust should put a permanent and clear description of this cave and its importance.
nice place must visit place
Nice place looking daring
Fortunate to see... feeling blessed
