VšĮ "ZOOPARKAS" - Zoo in Marijampolė, Lithuania
VšĮ "ZOOPARKAS" in Marijampolė
Description
Surprisingly for small private zoo - all animals seem to be well taken care of, a lot of space for everyone, a plenty green grass. Animals waste cleaned off veey thoughly and brought to neigbour farm right away. Biggest advantage - you have a chance to get close to the most of animals, feed them with bits of grass and truly interact with them. Some are really interested in contact with you. Within a visit the regrets about paid money are gone, as being so close to all of them - is priceless. Family run business is running with pride and remarkable care.Extra tickets charge in the Dinosaur section was surprising, and quite a rip off. However weve seen enough for understanding that we wont need to look for another Dynopark elsewere ever again.
MoreCant believe that this zoo is much better than some big city zoos. Definently worth to visit.
MoreSo cool, small but nice selection of egzotic animals

Absolutely fun place to visit, EVEN grumpy teenagers got immediately wide smiles on their faces. Affordabele, neat place. Feeding pucket costs 1 euro, cash only. Other than that the tickets can be paid with card. Some visitors had brought carrots and apples along, so that’s nice too.Toilet, grilling spot, cafe and some entertainment. Recommend👍🏼

Third by the size zoo in LTU
Best Zoo in Lithuania
Decent sized placed, calm environment and the opportunity to play with tiger cubs!
MoreThe only good attraction that they had was a tiger petting area.
Good place to go with kids
Great place to see animal up close
A place worth visiting, you can spend half a day here walking at slow pace, the park is quite big, lots of animals, many different species including 3 subspecies of tigers, lion with lioness, pumas, lynxes, wolves, jaguar, characal, many herbivores that approaches you at the fence to feed them from your hands, few monkeys. When the park have a litter of tiger cubs you can hold them and take a picture with them for few extra euros.Admision is only 6 euro, children under 6 years of age gets free admision. I strongly recommend to visit this park, time spend well
MoreSuper😊

Its much more fun than the zoo in kaunas
Super!👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Super!!!
Nice place, not crowded with people
Children enjoyed their visit. The only issue I found was lack of information in a different language (English/Polish). It would have been nice to be able to learn some animal facts. Overall a nice day out.
MoreReview from English visitor: This isn’t really a zoo it’s more of a collection of animals in small cages, I even noticed a baby monkey had a broken wrist and it looked like it had been broken and just left to heal untreated. The sheep have massive open field but the tigers only have a small amount in comparison. All of the cages are within touching reach from the paths even the dangerous animals. The animals don’t seem to have fresh water but buckets of water filled with algae. Really recommend this zoo is avoided from any uk tourist who might get upset by the conditions compared to English zoos. All of the carnivorous animals have clear view of the goats and sheep. There is a very large amount of sheep and goat I have my suspicions that these are good for the meat eating animals... (no evidence to support this though)Toilets are port a loos with no toilet paper or running water. Not a very nice place to visit. Avoid.
MoreGood experiance with little kids :clean, animals looks healthy and happy :)
We went there with preschool trip. It was amazing, so many different species of animals (some of them are really rare-for example white tigers). There is a place to make fire or barbeque, there is a small shop-so you can buy water and snacks. Highly recommended!
MoreProbably best zoo for kids in Lithuania
Many animals, rare tigers, lions, monkeys and much more
A fantastic little family run zoo with a small but good selection of animals with the wild cats being the highlight for us.... eould highly recommend as a way to kill a couple if hours...
MoreVery good place. For family and couples. Pretty far from big cities but its worth it, you can feed animals here from your hands, thats funny and making a special feeling for this place.
MoreNice 🐅 tiger
As mini zoo its not so small. Variety of animals. You can fed them. Animals have a lot of spaces. Price are also decent. You can spend 30-60 minutes easy.
MoreNice place to visit animals, feed them, cuddle addition of the big cats

Nice place, but the toilet is a nightmare!
How sad, a white tiger locked in a small cage.
