Viva la Pepa - Crêperie in El Calafate, Argentina
Viva la Pepa in El Calafate
Description
Delicious!
What a fun place for all kinds of crepes!
Cute place to have a breakfast. Nice vegan menu. Loved the sandwich
Nice atmosphere, some staff members are also quite kind. Its a big plus that they have a separate vegan menu. I ordered vegan pizza with cheese. Unfortunately the portion was too small and there were not that many ingredients on it (only cheese, black olives and garlic). I was hungry when I came in, I was still hungry when I left. When I told this to the waitress she got upset and said only "ok" as a reply.. It could be great if they improved their vegan menu...
MoreBeautiful spot to chill and have a nice meal. Try the crepes!!
Healthy delicious meal. They offer carrots and dip instead of bread, which is a nice alternative. The tartine was moist and crust was flaky.
MoreNice place with awesome vegan options! The price is honest :)
Good atmosphere, good coffee, free wifi, nice little coffee shop a couple blocks off the main street
MoreSalad!!!!! Was so great to find a salad here that wasnt just chicken ceasar. They make truly beautiful crepes as well.
MoreNice service and a menu, fresh juices,... that change from many other in El Calafate.
MoreO think is the most cozy coffee/crepery at el calafate! The waitress was so helpful and happy to service us ! You must visit the place if you want a quit and quality coffee or alcohol drink
Morecute place with good vegetarian options, big plus for coconut milk for the coffee ! 🌱
MoreCrepes were fine but the milkshake was incredible, definitely worth a try. Very cool decor and nice staff. They take card payments too which make paying much easier
MoreVery expensive for what you get and service was slow. Despite them not clearing our table for 30 minutes after we had finished eating and in the end me going up to the counter to pay they still demanded a tip. My husband ordered a tuna salad and received a plate of canned olives, canned tuna, sliced cherry tomatoes and cheese cubes (no lettuce or leaves, no dressing or seasoning). Much better value and tastier vegetarian/gluten-free food to be found elsewhere in town.
MoreNice place. Super relaxed. Our server was helpful. The shrimp crepe, and chicken-apple-blue cheese-bacon sandwich were tasty. They have wifi. We sat outdoors. They do have indoor seating.
MoreGreat place with friendly stuff. We ate lentils soup and crepes. Both were good, though we felt that food lacked salt, but you can always add it. Highly recommended
Morevegan options!!!!!!!! as well as gluten free. sweet and savory options for crepes as well as other types of food to choose from. drinks as well. friendly staff. accepts card. good wifi. i was accidentally charged extra and didn’t notice it and they came back and found me and refunded me my money without me saying anything. very nice! recommend
MoreLovely place with a great selection of crepes salty and sweet and also sandwiches and pizza. The crepes are quite big, definitely filling and super tasty. We also loved the presentation of the sweet crepe, lot of care pour into it. And definitely loved the idea of carrot dips as appetizers!
MoreNice garden area, great homemade lemonade (order it less sweet ;and looks to have reasonable prices, but havent eaten.
MoreThe place looks good from the inside and have vegan options (though sadly not declared in the menu). The staff was very nice. The downside is that the crepe I ordered wasnt very tasty (the crepe itself, the stuffing, contained mushrooms from cans). It is disappointing that you get that dish in that price.
MoreNice place with natural food which is not so often in Argentina.the crêpes are délicious salty or sweet!
MoreBad draft beer, old dry bread and tasteless crepes (even with the wrong ingredientsmake this place looking like any other restaurant in El Calafate...
MoreCreative decoration, super friendly staff and awesome desserts!
Cute spot. Crepes are very filling and really good. Perfect for brunch.TIPS - After lunch visit the supermarket across the street for food and other supplies.
MoreA small cafe tucked in a prominent corner of El Calafate main street. They have got a big menu of sweet and savoury crepes. Make sure to save some space for dessert and visit them when you are in the vicinity.
MoreCute place. Healthy food choices ( veggie, gluten free). Casual, laid back. 3 different flavors of gluten free cake!
MoreGorgeous cafe in El Calafate. Delicious fresh natural juice. Great gluten free options. Awesome gluten free crepes available here. The owner and all staff were lovely.
MoreVistit 3 times in 4 days . Lovely food , friendly staff, nice environment inside out. thank you team!
MoreDelicious salads! Cant recommend enough its been so long since we have had a nice and well put together salad. Lots of different options healthy & delicious. Highly recommended. Didnt try the other dishes but they all looked great too and people left happy and full.
MoreExcellent! Crepes were very big, we had the pollo, jamon y queso. It was delicious and loaded with meat and cheese. Atmosphere was great and so was the server!
MoreAMAZING if you’re looking for any of the following: salads, vegetarian or organic, gluten free options (sin TACC), vegan, or plant based meals. The soups and salads were so incredibly fresh and delicious I visited multiple days. Most impressively, they baked me fresh gluten-free biscuits every day to go with my soup that were SO good 🤤
MoreNice cozy place to get some food and good coffe! Friendly and comfortable
so many choices of salty and sweet pancakes, very nice presentationYou ´ll need to come back to try more!
MoreVery nice cafe with both inside & outside tables. We tried both savoury & sweet crepes, savoury one was very good but sweet one a bit too sweet. Coffee nice & strong if that’s what you like. As per standard with El Calafate service was very slow but would still come back for savoury crepe.
MoreThe food is great (tomato soup has very little cream in it and is very tasty; crepe with prosciutto, cheese and eggplant was quite good tooand the service is very friendly. We had the mate ritual explained to us in Spanish by a lovely waitress and finally got to try the mate! It’s quite an experience and we had been looking forward to it!
Moretasty, nourishing food. I would eat here again. service could be a bit warmer -smile more. thankful for this spot in el Calafate. I like the quirky and colorful vibe. enough vegan options. very willing to customize meals and accommodate requests. recommended
MoreWe LOVED this place - salads, savory crepes, sweet crepes were all excellent and we tried two times! The restaurant is very cute, well priced and valued relative to other places in the area, and theres carrot and dip for appetizers. Strongly recommend.
MorePretty cafe of crepes. There are quite a lot kinds of crepes. Especially crepes for dessert give you visual happiness. It should have been the best restaurant if servants are a little more friendly.
MoreThe crepes were so incredibly delicious!
Fantastic food. Great ambiance. Friendly service. Ive come here several time so er the last few years and will always come bsck when I am around calafate.
MoreWhen we first arrived at this adorable bohemian restaurant we thought it was a bit overpriced, and assumed we would probably be paying a premium to eat regular food in a chic atmosphere. This was not the case. The food was delicious and ample and of great quality. They gave us cute little carrot sticks and dip instead of bread rolls for our table and the lemonade with mint and ginger came in a big pitcher & was delicious. Not to be missed!!
MoreBest place to eat in El Calafate in my view. Lots of vegeterian mains, some can be made vegan by request. They also make good coffee and fresh juices.
MoreReally nice and small but sweet place to eat some crepes or other „small things“ in town. the service was great and friendly! we really enjoyed it!
MoreThis place was a godsend. After having a nightmare with my bank and without cash, this adorable little cafe was absolutely perfect to lift the mood. With a quaint, colorful decor, reasonably priced food (crepes that are HUGE and delicious...try jamon crudo, tomato & cheese), & WiFi it was a perfect reprieve from my touristy stresses. The staff is friendly and the attention to detail of both the decor and the food is a delightful surprise. Examples: different colored M&Ms served with your cappuccino for a little bit of chocolate sweetness with your blessed dose of caffeine.
MoreSo many kinds of Argentine crepes with various fillings. I had trout and avocado fillings which was great. My daughter had a salad with smoked salmon. All tasted fantastic.
MoreNice looking place for a different lunch. Soups are very good if a little exoensive, but the taste should not disappoint you.Tarts, however, will. They are rather small and inexpressive. Nothing about them will call your attention once brought to you, and they taste fairly ordinarily too.I wish I had gone for a samdwich, pizza or creppe, at least they looked more filling for the price.
MoreGreat little place. The crepes were good, the service was good and the place itself is very cute. I also loved that instead of bread appetizer they brought carrots with some dressing. Very original and healthy.
MoreGreat place for lunch. Nice little patio garden on the side (if it is warm enoughis enjoyable. Service is not the best, but not terrible. Usually crowded for lunch. Crepes, salads and soups are the thing here. The crepes are big enough to share. Also excellent espresso. Good for a change from the mostly similar places in town. Nice music selections too.
MoreWe love this place. They do not only have the best cappuccino in el calafate - their amazing crepes and salads live up to western standards. Perfect if youre tired from the steak, pizza and bad pasta of other places. They also feature this tiny quiet, wind protected and sunny garden - perfect for Sunday boozy brunch :🍾
MoreVery kind staff, generous portions for a good price. Food comes out fast, good when your in a hurry, like I was.
