This a super fun place, I am giving it a 3 star rating as I didnt like it. The reason is very simple, everything here will surely excite school students not as much to any adult. If you are visiting Bengaluru as a tourist, put this place on your checklist only if you have kids.Tickets can be booked online as well as offline, I would suggest you to book them online, to avoid long queues.
Amazing place. Really engaging for both kids and adults with various interactive fun science experiments. Must visit at least once.Entry fee is Rs.75 per head.It has an art gallery right next to it, so a weekend one day plan covering both and having a scrumptious lunch at one of the many nearby restaurants would be a win-win!There is a canteen on the top most floor which can be visited while taking a break between the different sections of the museum. Not very clean though.
It is very popular museum in kasturba road near kabban park. Here we get entry ticket the cost of 50per head. It open for all days from 9.30am to 6.00pm .here limited parking is there. Weekends very difficult to park inside museum. Inside we get enough knowledge on science. It is very good for school and college students. Inside blue 3d movie is running for 15min. It is intresting for kids. Thanks to visvesvarya.
Must visit museum if you are in Bangalore for both adults and kids. especially for science enthusiastic. One can easily spend 3-5hrs. There having prototypes, still and working models of various departments of science and technology. Space models are really awesome.Museum is of four floor and each floor having 2 departments. So many years in Bangalore and I did not know about this hidden gem. A very well maintained, interactive and engaging museum for both kids and adults. I went with quite low expectations but was very surprised with the infrastructure as well as quality and detailing of the displays. The museum has 4 floors focusing on different areas of science and technology and you need a good 5-6 hours to explore the entire place. The concepts and scientific theories are explained in a very simple and precise way. A must visit for all students.
This is a place where children can gain knowledge in various aspects of science. I had been here 25 years ago with my parents and visited today with my nephew. It has not lost its charm.
All I would say is you can touch and experience the technology (past & current).Wheather you are planning for your kids, or you are going alone, you will enjoy every single footsteps.Lot of things to learn. They share a wide variety of thing from Machine to Human to Animal Biology to Space as well as children PlayStation..They have evening shows in 3D with a minimal charge.Absolutely loved it β¨
Back to school trip to VITM Bangalore was an eye opener. A knowledge haven for science & engineering, space and bio lovers. So much to learn and absorb.Concepts presented in a simple and practical way. Kids over 10 yrs would really enjoy. Some of the knowledge was new to me and glad that I learn something new.Places like these makes you wonder how far we have come. I feel the only learning left to do is to learn to treat our remaining resources well and respect our nature.Ticket price for adults and children above 3 same 85Rs. Plus they have 3D shows running for 40rs for 1/ticket but can be skipped as its mis managed and not worth it as its just a 10 min show about ocean which you can easily see on national geographic channel.Toilets, canteen, first aid all are available. I didnt use any so no idea about quality.Takes about 3-4 hours if you genuinely visit each floor with learning. G+3 floors all with 7 different themes. One science for kids theme was fun for kids as my kids are small.
Must visit place for all the science and techn enthusiasts. It has three floors which 2 sections on each floor.Mechanical, fun science, biotechnology, electrical and electronics such way different sections are available. It has a 3D show where the ticket needs to be booked there itself .The most loved part of this museum is we can try practically the mechanisms and processes and understand how it works . Videos are available at the locations to understand about the things.Online tickets are available on BookMyShow. Prefer that .
Must visit for students intrested in science. You will not be able to cover the whole in one visit. There are so many models which explains the principle of physics/science in simple way. Must take water along with you. Great experience. Kids love the place and demands revisit

A must visit museum especially for growing kids so that thet are aware of engines, space and other science and technologies and basic working principle of many basic things like switches, weighing machine etc.85 rs for adult and extra for other shows inside.
Its a great museum. It should be called encyclopaedia. One of a kind. Plan a whole day for the visit. The museum is a great learning experience. It showcases biological enhancements, space, electronics, mechanical, engineering models for easy understanding and visualise the theories in the fields. All kinds of engines are displayed. 12 cylinder rolls Royce jet engine is really good addition to the display. If possible get your kids here to explain everything.

Informative and interesting place for kids and adults. Couple of hours wont be enough for us to visit. Only disappoint was they have closed kids science area in our recent visit.Toilet and cafeteria facilities are available here.Entry fee is affordable.
The museum is a fun place for kids and adults alike. The museum is made up of three floors dedicated to various aspects of science and technology. Many of the exhibits are interactive which makes it fun and interesting. The museum also has many large scale replicas of various engines and even the airplane built by the wright brothers. They even have a piece from the original wright brothers plane. Though there should be more benches for visitors to sit on inside the museum as the museum visit takes a long time. Overall though a must visit.
Knowledgeable place for children as well as youngsters, any age group can visit and gain the knowledge with fun learning. Brushup your knowledge which you had learned in school, colleges with experimental topics, tools kept for you. Very funtastic, I liked it a lot. We reached at 3pm in December and Museum closed at 5pm even though its timing written as 9.30pm-6pm.Within 2hrs also was not able to complete all floors. At least need 3-4hrs to visit all sections, experiment, learn and have fun with it.
Brilliant option for kids and teens. Lot of things to learn and experiment. You can even spend the whole day here. Go morning so that you get enough time to explore everything. 3D show is very entertaining. Charges are extra for the shows inside museum.

Itβs not a regular museum. Itβs something different. You wonβt just see the things, it lets you experience them. There is a lot of stuff happening daily in our life, we can see how the stuff works that we use daily like electricity, motors etc.,. Itβs interesting for kids and adults. Kids can learn a lot from these. We hoped that these actually exists in our universities.
