Vistas Bar in Colombo

One of the best rooftop bars you can visit in Colombo. The building is also one of the tallest in the city. Has a perfect atmosphere. We went there in an evening. The food is average. Price is reasonable. The cocktails are good. The achcharu, one of their signature cocktails is one of the best ♥️

Food and the place is amazing. Its take bit time to arrive the food. Other than that it’s a wonderful experience.

The Cocktails was not good good and we havent seen the value for money for the foods.

Worst experience ever!!! Went there to watch the final cricket match of Asia cup as they have advertised they will show it in big screen. But they couldnt show it to a part of the audience and when we inquired about that, manager responded us arrogantly. Will never visit there. Also food menu is very limited

Ruined the fealing of the Asia cup Final. Glad we decided to came home after 5 overs. One screen was not working. There management had no clue to resolve the issue. People were standing everywhere. Overwhelming crowd was allowed. 0 service.I blamed the management and there answer was this is a hotel and not a cricket ground. Then please stop organizing these events.

Even prior reservations make couple of days ago. They didnt able to switch on projectors to watch cricket match. Poor management manager is aggressively respond when ask about issue. Bad food as well. Not recommend

Amazing view of the city. Was a quiet hot and humid. Food was good. A but pricy. Lounge chairs were very comfortable.

Be careful bartenders are cheating on your cocktails, they don’t add the recommended liquor volume to you cocktail unless you shout at them. Good ambiance poor management I guess.

Affordable and delicious food. It’s the rooftop bar of the Mövenpick hotel and got a nice view of city lights. Open from 10.00 am to mid night. Not much crowded. Friendly staff.

Check the bill carefully because they are scammers. The view is just great, nothing good, the taste is bad.The electricity went out for a while. This is very annoying

Great place to hang out and chill... But whats the use if the food sucks..We jst started with a chocolate milkshake and a hot chocolate..... Both were utterly dissapointing.... For a hotel with such a good reputation this restaurant us a disgrace.... We jst paid close to 1800 jst for the two things abv....Its alright if it was good... But it wasnt.... Ddt even dare to try the food....

View is awesome and had a good night because of the people we were with, but its massively overpriced on both food and drink, food portions were so miniscule, I had the tuna tortilla and it was 2 tiny rolls the length and width of finger with a tiny coleslaw in one lettuce leaf, some sauce and a salsa and that was around rs1300. Draft beer wasnt on so had to buy bottled which pushed the price up too. We had maybe 6 drinks each and 1 dish each, and once they had added 10% on plus taxes the bill was around RS24,000. They also messed our bill up with the other table, we still thought it was too high after they sorted it, but they werent having any of it so just paid it. Wont be going back

Had a date at this place. And the service was awesome. Food and cocktails was amazing! And steward chalana was so helpfull of arrangeing the table with flowers and etc. 100% recommended vistas. And the view around is amazing too.

The rooftop bar at the Mövenpick hotel is a great place to meet friends. Its spacious and hosts popular bands during Fridays. The food is great and the staff is very courteous as well.

Hi everyone, just went around colombo with my family to have a dinner out... thought of many cafes to go... yet suddenly my eye caught of this rooftop bar... it was spectacular site... and the food was Awesome and Chalana helped us in everything. . My daughter and my parents truly enjoyed the evening... thank you mov and pick.

The service and food was very good. The atmosphere was ecstatic! The lighting and the outdoor feeling towards the evening was the best.

Vistas Roof Top Bar is well hidden. Go to Liberty plaza and stroll to Mövenpick hotel, then enter (there are security checks as on the airport), then take the express elevator to the roof. Once there, you enter a posh bar with a spectacular view. They have an interesting range of cocktails, beers and the usual drinks you would expect. A selection of some dishes is available as well. Definitely a place to stay for longer.

Amazing view. And good vibe all together. Nice for a evening casual date or a drink with your friends. However, tried the brownies they have which was horrible.

Nice view of the ocean. However, kinda open and no shade from the sun. The service quality and staff attitude disappointed us. We were made to wait for ten minutes before we could get a menu while we sat at the bar. Had to remind them twice and wait for another twenty minutes just to pay the bill. Need to up their service game to be called a ‘5 star hotel’.

So chilled out. Perfect for a Sunday evening to have a shisha and hangout. Tied pasta, spaghetti and the sandwiches. All portions are huge af and worth the money for sure

The best place to visit with friends or family, Its open area can not avoid smoking, Beautiful view from roof top. Mr Kapila really help us on menu and drinks. Staff are friendly. Food also good.. Ask for any promotion or happy hours. Only disappointment when its rain you will get wet . Dont forget to ask their special cocktails.

Great view, drinks are a bit pricey compared to other places. Food is good but mostly tapas. Only problem a storm started. there was absolutely nowhere to sit to eat the food we ordered less than 5 minutes ago and they wouldnt refund or place it in a take away.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. Got 2 tequila shots, fish and chips and hot butter cuttlefish. The fish and chips were really good. The batter used for the fish was light and fluffy with a nice flavour. The HBC couldve been better tho. It was very oily and I didnt quite like the seasoning they used on it. The price came upto almost 5500 bucks with taxes which I felt was a bit steep.

Vistas rooftop bar and lounge is located on the top of Movenpick. This an exact cool place to go with friends. The staffs are very professional and friendly. The service is really good. The city view from here is really amazing, since its located on rooftop. Especially in the night time, the view is more nice. And there is an awesome pool in the corner. They have a big screen to stream the sports also.

Its an excellent location for hanging out with friends and relaxing in the evening. Moreover, Vistas has a really pleasant and chill atmosphere to the whole place, which when compounded with the stunning views of the Colombo skyline all around, make it a really nice spot to go and experience.

The 3 cocktails i had (Margarita, Daiquiri, Promagranadewas probably the worst I ever had. The dishes were fabulous as usual. The service was excellent with happy attentive staff specialy on a Friday evening!!!

An absolute gem of a luxury lounge bar. Incredible 360deg panoramic views over Colombo from 32 floors up. Friendly professional staff. Sports screens

Not happy with the service. We were there at 9.30 pm. A guy took our order and after 40 mins at around 10.10 another guy came asking to repeat our order as the previous guy was sick and he had left without placing the order. The Shisha we requested arrived after an hour and it was absurd. They said that was their best. Didnt wanted to complain and waste time, we simply left the place never to return.

The views are gorgeous, you have a view of both the ocean on one side and the city on the other. A very chill place to spend an evening, the drinks are well priced but theyre not always the best in my opinion, they could probably use a better bartender.

Visited Vistas for the second time and it makes me wanna go more. However the rooftop is pretty cool. i mean cool as in its literally one of the best place to hangout and chill. The view from the top is simply breath taking. you can even have a glance of the infinity pool. coming to the food. You do get finger foods and bites. prices are pretty okay too. I totally loved the chilled atmosphere at Vistas bar and will be visiting soon again hopefully.

Amazing place. The view is fantastic. I think it eill be short lived as there are 2 buildings coming up inbetween the sea and the hotel, its best to go and enjoy it as it is there. There is an infinity pool whixh u can enjoy while having a mojito from the roof top bar. Well spacious and a decent place even to have a meeting. Takr sometime to enjoy this.

Wasn’t crowded since we visited on a Sunday. Mind blowing views of both seaside and the city. A slow nonstop breeze hits you due to the location which is very relaxing. Cocktails are reasonably priced and has a relatively good selection. Staff is friendly and well trained. And of course the sunsets are Instagram worthy.

Fantastic Views, Great Modern Venue, and Bar Tenders were so friendly!!! However the Manager on Tuesday was walking around yorning, had red eyes, and looked half asleep. Really spoilt the atmosphere and service.

I would say this place offers one of the best views of the city of Colombo. The food is ok and the drinks are nice. The staff is friendly and polite. Good place for an evening hangout.
