Just an average on budget hotel..... They off their generator light once the day breaks and on it back by 5pm 🕔
I didnt like the receptionist
Old hotel with very minimal renovation but credit to the managership
Good sized rooms with good AC and warm and cold water in the bathroom. The TV and Fan works with inverter when regular power supply is cut off, thats really cool. But, Cracks in the walls can be fixed and leakage marks on the ceiling can be painted too.
They need to improve on their rooms and facilities
Asked for prices of the rooms and was told only the N10,000 was available. The room was filthy and the bathroom was absolutely terrible. The receptionist were not welcoming and everywhere smelled like Indian herm.
A very nice hotel actually. The environment is very good, and the rooms are good as well. They however, charge ₦200 for every room service, and their food preparation is also quite slow. You can go get the food yourself if you care to avoid the ₦200 room service charge.
Very terrible, I won’t recommend. Mosquitoes almost killed me . Room service is so poor plus the bathroom was so poor and dirty .
This was by far the worst hotel I have ever been in my entire life. The hotel is dirty, there was a bucket in the bathroom. That is what you one uses to shower. We were given no towels even though I repeatedly requested for it. The white rice and stew was nothing to write home about and despite how hungry I was, I had to force it down with water. The bed had a huge crater in the middle of it which made sleeping horrible. There were mosquitoes too. Plus, the bathroom door had ample space at the bottom so the person in the room can smell what is going on in the bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Plus, the staff was rude and wouldnt let me even settle in before bringing bills. The nice hotels Ive been in put it on your tab and you pay when checking out or when you are comfortable. Absolutely rubbish place.
Nice environment and it was cool
The staff were helpful and the room adequate and clean for a layover. An overall good experience.
Friendly and informed receptionists.Neat environment.Fair pricing...
Was to stay 4 days, but had to move out, d position of d Hotel is cool, but som tins needs improvement, why shld water heater be inside the wardrobe, cudnt spend more than one night, with the right improvement dis hotel can do well, 9ice name Vintage
This place isnt bad after all. Its relatively cheap and serene too. Starter pack is ₦10k.
The rooms needs to be clean and regularly maintained
Vintage Suites is a very cool hotel. All rooms have ACs and a fan, and also a heater. I loved their foods too. I’d go back there anytime I’m around that environment. Nice place.
Well, I have mixed feelings about this place.. This is one of the cleanest hotels Ive ever been in.My main problem is their utilities.Their air conditioning takes hours to chill, and the tap in my room took forever to fill the bucket—yes, bucket because the overhead shower didnt work. But for the amount I paid, I expected a lot more.
Cheerful and helpful receptionists. Manager also helpful.Generator used only at night because of diesel cost.Uses Inverter and Public power supply during the day,so air conditioning is not constant. No porter.
Went there for a shoot, the couple I was to cover lodged there the night before their union. There was no light through the night but the generator was on through out,and put off immediately it was 6am. Of which we had told them we would need light for the pictures and videos we wanted to create, and they said we should pay extra for that, sighs.
The ambience was okay for a meetup, definitely not for an intimate date. If youre not used to people smoking, you may not like to be there. The staff took over an hour to bring my order and also hassled with me for change. But overall it was just okay, and I may not go there again.
Its a basic 3 star hotel, you get your moneys worth for light and good beds space, thats it. The staff were nice to us.
They demand to take picture of your ID card b4 the give you a room.Their services is very poor, the staffs are rude, they charge #200 naira to bring you water, drinks or food. Even if its 1bottle water of 200 naira, theyll charge you 200 naira.Avoid this hotel for your safety.
Ewet housing estate good and calmed place to live, but we need more security in the estate
No air-condition in the lounge. There are no comfortable chairs in the lounge. The rooms are not clean enough. The poor attitude of the staff.
Quite conducive for the type of neighborhood its located in. Meals are not too nice. Staircase tiles looks very old. Bathroom drains dont flow quite fast enough. I think the place is just fair. Price is easily affordable too. Not bd for the price anyway
Not bad. It has good parking. Nice people for an affordable short stay. Dont get room 304.
Its cozy and the environment is sweet.. The only issue is that the meal took a Lil longer to get to us.. Albeit every other thing was cool
The place was nice, but just not up for a 3 star YET, the hotel is not disable friendly, kinda felt stuffed when I was there, I was expecting a guide/aid to assist me in carry luggages and there was none actually, but its fine, the room is quite OK, good actually
Well, the bar is accessible to non lodgers and there is indoor and and outdoor bar,all depending on your choice with minimal crowd, definitely a place to relax and chill
The single room wasnt cool so I had to move to the double room which was way better. Their food tastes great and theyve got really nice receptionists. The power supply is constant, the water heater works well, and the doors uses Keycard lock which is a very nice form of security. The parking space isnt large but well managed.
I enjoyed my stay .The place is very clean , afordable and safe .However, some of you front desk personal need training.
I enjoyed my stay in this house. The best thing about this hotel is the affordability of the rooms and coming in close second is the almost 24 hours power supply. The hotel is well situated and has no major noise disturbance from its environs. I did not get to try out their food so I have no comments on that regard.
Its a chill place. Their staff can be occasionally annoying and the mosque behind the hotel can be loud but asides that its a fine place to lay your head.
Room services consistently late. Meals not the best had to constantly eat out. Though lots of restaurants and within walk of 10mins. Loud chattering guests and lousy foot dragging attendants. On the brighter side the proximity to the airport is key and its position is central to someone juggling between the island and ikeja
The place isn’t that bad, it’s clean and tidy buh would stress that if you really want to enjoy your stay it’s advisable to go for the double rooms and never settle for the single rooms, b’cos appearance of both rooms settles it. Not a fantastic customer service.
Great and cozy place to lodge in.. The security is top notch. The bar section has an awesome rooftop view, a small parking space. Scrap the free wifi note. Cause it aint true.A very comfy feeling with family.
Electricity was stable and the generator. But the reception isnt welcoming at all. You are shown the images of the room via a system and asked to make your choice. Nobody walks you to the room, you are to find your way by yourself. So bad. No intercom my husband has to go downstairs a number of times. 11000 room with no complimentary breakfast wi
Beautiful interior with vintage outlook just as the name implies and modern interior. Loved my time spent there. Customer service dont get an excellent rating from me though, just a pass.
Vintage suites Surulere is an affordable hotel. It has a moderate parking space. The environment is cool and calm, not too far from the highway. The receptionists are friendly. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned but still cozy and affordable. The rooms are furnished with a table, chairs, tabletop fridge, comfortable mattresses and fully Air-conditioned. Bathrooms are fair. There is a restaurant, a lounge and a rooftop bar. Food is moderate price. Theres however no swimming pool and no Wi-Fi.
Nice hotel to visit! Good customer care service, neat environment with enough parking space for both customers and staff but no accessibility for disabled nor parking space for them. It has has 24hrs light, good place to lodge with kids and also good for group. I really enjoy my stay. Well done to the management and staffs for the great work on customer relationships but I think the only area to be put in place if not budget for , is just repainting of rooms because the room I lodge was ok but only need repainting. Thanks once again vintage suites. Keep it up
Courteous friendly staff. Good for its price. No WI-FI. The rooftop bar is good for relaxation in the evening.I also did not notice the usual noises associated with Lagos.
Cons- Poor customer service, the two ladies in the reception are not polite. The bed sheet not washed, general condition of the room needs improvement.Pro-They require your ID card which is good for hotel security. Good parking space
Vintage suites has a wonderful bar. They also sell food for those that might want to eat and its incredibly spicy. If you want to buy noodles here, beware of the pepper😂Its a nice place though. They wont let you take anything inside the bar, not even a bottle of water and they dont let guys take their bags in! My friend had to drop his at the gate.
The rooms are comfortable to stay, although with different sizes and specifications depending on your budget. The base room has a big bed with two pillows, a wardrobe, bathroom and TV with air conditioner. The aesthetic wasnt so good but ambiance was pretty cool with quietness most of the time. Power went out at 5 am and never was restored. Parking 🅿️ is available and secure inside the compound but cant take lots of cars.Overall, the experience was good but could be better.
I’m always very skeptical when it comes to writing reviews, but I’m provoked beyond words. Apparently I had a reservation, paid off to guarantee the booking, to arrive the next day. At the point of making the reservation which i did at the with cashier (Ebereat the checking desk. The cancellation policy was shown to me with cancellation charge of 30% lose on the full accommodation fees. I had a need to change my arrival date and I had call the hotel severally but to no avail. Came down to the hotel in person to reschedule my arrival date, only to be told by the unprofessional receptionist that she doesn’t know anything about moving the reservation date, but asked me to wait while she sends a mail to the manager. This I gladly oblige but after several minutes of waiting for what seems like a wild goose chase. I decided to cancel my reservation. To my amazement the lady said she also does know anything about canceling a reservation, that she’s only employed for checking in. I demand to speak with the manager who she claimed was not even around, to further end my mystery at this hotel. I asked for the manager’s cellphone again she refused to give to me. To this end I had to result into shouting and demanding to speak to someone or provide solution. It’s demeaning for an hotel with a lot of good reviews, to have descended to the level of employing without adequate training of the staffs. The lady was so rude to the extent that she started referring to me as guy! And even went to call me a nuisance. This is really not acceptable and I will urge the management vintage suit to look into this.
A very decent and comfortable place to be, charges is relatively fair compared to the hotel standard. Workers there are nice, room is okay and bed is comfy. The bathroom and toilet is hygienic enough.Generally, the hotel is moderately okay.
Neatly tucked into a relatively quiet part of the suburb. It served the purpose; I just needed somewhere to relax. The bed was quite comfy and the AC was superb! The gen was switched on from 4pm to 6am but it was enough. Good for the online price I paid.
Nice and cozy environment. Always neat and tidy. The rooms are affordable and the food is relatively inexpensive too. The bar is delightfully laid out and the interior decor is spot on. The drinks are always cool and the staff are friendly. A good neighborhood hotel.
Not a bad experience. But the lobby was smelling of smokes in the morning while I was leaving.Edited:I’ve been here 3 times. My last 2 stays was horrible. From WC not working to AC not working. I had to swap rooms and still no difference. The rooms on the last floor were just not it.
The place is nice, there was power all through the time I stayed. I didnt have much interaction with the hotel staff because I was prepared to stay away from home. The water heater wasnt working and the bathroom needs some work. It was usable overall. There was no intercom in the room I stayed but it didnt matter much. I only went down to the reception once to request for towels. The receptionist on duty was nice enough and professional. My experience wasnt below what I expected at that price point. It was good.
