Top wines, top location, good service...

If you just want to chat, have a good glass of wine (or few of themand eat great prosciutto, cheese and mortadela, then you are in the right place.There is quite a selection of slovenian wines available and you can choose from different Italian and Spanish prosciutto. Unfortunately I could not spot the good Slovenian one.Service was friendly.

Cozy wine bar with great selection of Slovenian wine, not just from Movia winery but many others as well. Helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Good selection of small plates and cheeses, too.

Really friendly helpful staff, and delicious local wines. The sweet Pikolit wine was something special, we ended up buying a bottle to take home.

I liked the pinot noir recommended by the waitress. But too pricey. Beautiful big wine glasses but with less than 1 dl wine (and I payed 9 euro).Also, cork in the wine...

Busy location with mediocre wine and service. My partner had cork in her glass and i had a lot of VA in mine. Decent charcuterie.

Great serice, good wine

Not sure why all the raves about this place Overpriced tasting (22 euro for tasting four red wines when actual glasses of the same wines cost 24). And the four sampled were not particularly good.

Nice wines and fantastic olives. A bite down by service last visit.

Would recommend their own orange wine

Amazing wine. We had a wine tasting and each wine was delicious. They have great seating outside but the interior is beautiful.

Decent drinks list with small pizzas available.

Broad selection of slove Ian wines by the glass. You can taste through some of the major winemakers as well as the Movia wines of course :)

Overpriced mediocre wines. Nice cheese plate.The bill was 51 euro. I gave the waitress 60 and I told her to take 4 euros for a tip and give me 5. She never returned the 5 euro. Her English level was good so its not that she didnt understand.When I asked for suggestions she only recommended the most expensive wines of the menu. 12 eur for half a glass in Slovenia... its definitely too pricey.

Cozy interior. We enjoyed a fantastic Movia wine tasting - Chardonnay and Sivi Pinot Ambria in particular. The charcuterie plates were also good. Very good service and knowledgeable staff.

Just arrived in Slovenia looking forward to a wine bar with local wine, there young guy serving had no idea, didn’t explain the wines or the cheese platter, trying to get the Bill took forever, don’t waste your time there is much better close by.

Great staff and wonderful selection of Slovenian wine. Nice outdoor area for people watching to enjoy with your wine and snacks. Very helpful selecting our wine.

My partner and I visited Movia wine shop & bar multiple times during our days in Ljubljana. Ilja took amazing care of us and we discovered some interesting and funky oranges native to the region. Just what we were looking for! Ilja also offered great recommendations for wineries to visit and restaurants to try in the area. Came as a visitor, left as a friend.

Great small and cosy place for vine lovers! You can find really a lot of different vines from all vine regions in Slovenia. By default you get also some olives when you order vine which is of course great. Fully recommend!

Amazing sommelier. He knew better what wine I wanted than I did. Plus I believe he was the owner. Amazing experience and atmosphere.

Quirky place worth a visit. Nice wine options. Staff was knowledgeable and kind of weird - but it fit right in with the feel of the place. They give tasty olives with your drinks. My wife and I had a nice evening.

Quaint space for outdoor tables to enjoy great wine while people watching. Lenart was extraordinarily knowledgeable, friendly, and proud of Slovenian-produced wines.

Good place with lots of choice. Even if we did not get the full experience with explanations, the wines are really good.Come before 6pm so you can enjoy a flight tasting.

If you are looking for good wines, this is the place. Located right in the ljubljana centre this bar has a great variety of wines and even gins. You can also get wine tasting menu and some food too. Nice staff.

We came late for the wine tasting schedule, but the waiter was so kind and let us have the experience. Wine was great, food was even better. I highly recommend

Great location outside on the square with a good selection of wines to choose from.Service is outstanding. It was our first time trying orange wine, a local speciality, and our waiter took the time to explain the different options and the way they are made.

Cozy little bar in the centre of the old town. Nice to sit outside, but surprisingly airy inside. We had a friendly and accommodating service, he took some time to explain to us even though we (after a day of travelingfor sure didnt look like the kind of guests that will stay for one or two bottles. I bought a bottle of biodynamic Slovenian wine, too. Didnt get to taste some orange wines, unfortunately. Nice selection imo.

Do not go here.... it’s far too good for you leave it to my fiends and I .... really cosy and great Slovenian wines service with a smile and they know their trade. Highly recommended

My favorite place for drinks when I am in Ljubliana

Did a wine tasting here while my husband enjoyed a local pale ale. Lenart helped us out and spent time explaining so many things to us, from random facts about Slovenia to details about each of the wines I tasted (which were all delicious). It was a wonderful way to pass an hour.

Our first stop for wine in Ljubljana and we went back twice more! Knowledgeable staff and great wine on offer, in a cosy setting. The Rubino was my favourite and my husband obviously liked the most expensive! It was the Veliko Rdeče. Definitely worth a visit!

Good Slovenian wines & bites, friendly service

The wine, cheese and mortadela were great and the waiter was really nice and knew a lot of what he was talking about (wine and food). Great food and great service, totally recommend it

A very friendly wine bar that serves you almost any drink you can imagine. Friel dynamic staff and great ambience.

Wide variety of drinks and food. The service was fast and the prices are moderate. The Pritličje has a free WiFi and entrance is wheel chair accessible. Considering it is right in the centre of Ljubljana the prices are not high at all. They have big ambrellas and this is useful during sunny or rainy days.

They have a large selection of Slovenian wines. The guy behind the bar was knowledgeable and made good recomendations. While he answered all my questions, he did not expand or volunteer more information about the wine or wineries. Try Slovenian orange wine. It is very funky and unique. It might not be your taste, but worth trying.

Excellent service! Absolutely worth having a glass of wine in this fantastic place.

Excellent interior, cozy and authentic. Great service as well. We went for a wine selection and they were all really good but different. They take pride by serving their wine called "The great red" in a different glass, which is cool. The truffle cheese was stunning.

Great wine bar owned by Movia winery. Very nice and rounded selection of Slovenian wines and some from other countries. Many wines available by the glass, giving you the opportunity to taste good number of local wines. They also serve some meat and cheese plates to go nicely with wines.
