Vino Third Ward - Wine Bar & Store in Milwaukee

The space is so cute! Ryan did such an amazing job for our rehearsal dinner, he was so attentive and made it so fun!

Stopped in for a glass of wine with friends before dinner. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beverage. Wine was great and service was even better!

Great stop w awesome staff! They have cheese boards for food but are also next to so many great bites and other stops in the city. Stop for a sip or two.

I do recommend this place and the wine tasting experience. Next time I am in Milwaukee, Id love to come back! The wine selection was wonderful especially the international and regional wines. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient with our group (bachelorette). The cheese board options were plentiful and delicious and filling to pair with the wine and mead.It was extremely accommodating that they served other beverages to one of our group that did not like wine - I know... but they had bourbon and gin! ;Just above and beyond!Atmosphere is sexy - cool, dim light atmosphere, very comfortable and clean bathrooms. Great for group or date.

I walked in looking for a bottle as a gift and a very nice girl with blush on her nose was SO helpful. Sometimes wine shops are a little patronizing but the environment was super welcoming for someone who doesn’t know a ton about wine. Definitely going back soon!

Fun experience and very knowledgeable staff.

Had a meeting there, it was more than a pleasurable experience. The bartender was very informing and attentive. I tasted more than my share of great wines. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is chic, rustic but polished, and fun.

Went on Saturday and have a very nice time. This is my new favorite place to sneak away to. The owner I believe he was is very welcoming.

I don’t want to tell you about this place bc I want it to myself :every time I go to Milwaukee, I stop here. Personable and friendly staff - awesome wine. I love it. I’ve been a regular visitor for the past 6 years…My last visit - I ordered a flight, and each wine was better than the last. It made choosing even more difficult. Luckily, the flights are generous so I was able to choose a (ok 2favorite(s).

The elderberry martini was OK if you like a very strong drink 🍸 💪 Ryan the bartender was really great thank you for your service the 10 year age cheese Meat and crackers tray was great .

Real good service and very good wines. Prices are also good and the atmosphere is very cozy. The cheese plate is great. The picture of the wine was my favorite from the ones I tried there.

Lovely place for wine lovers. Its an intimate space with breathing room at the same time. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. There is a ranging selection for every budget and preference.

Great prices and a fun environment! Where else in town can you get two glasses of wine and a cheese board hand selected by one of the Sommelies for 25 dollars. Paul and his staff never fail to impress me with their willingness to lend a helpful ear when I need someone to talk to while I drink my wine.

This is a great little wine store and bar. Nice selections of varietals and various selections can be tried by the glass. Quiet, calm atmosphere.

My friends and I had great experience here! We sat outside and enjoyed tasting a variety of delicious wines on a Friday night. The som was very knowledgeable and approachable, which was refreshing. I was impressed with how much time he took to help everyone in my group find the right drink for them. Will visit again!

Great little wine bar. $6 Corking fee only! All wine bottles under $25, but great selection. Knowledgeable bar tender have us great suggestions and fun stories. If I lived in town, this would be a regular stop for me.

Attended the Girl Scout Cookie wine pairing. Wines were good but the service was pretty poor. While I understand that the wine bar was packed for the event, the bar tenders/wine pourers were not very friendly.

Went there with a group of 4 for the Girl Scout Cookie & Wine Pairing. While the place is quaint and has a lot of selection the function itself left a bad taste. For $25 you received 1 each of 4 kinds of Girl Scout cookies and about 1 inch of wine in your glass for each pairing of a cookie. Heard they sold 80 tickets but only seating for about half. Absolutely no presentation regarding how they decided which wine would be good paired up with which cookie. Most people went up to the bar and received their wine and cookie to just turn around and get back in line to eat/drink, which they finished before getting back to the bar for the next pairing. Too many people did not get this concept and the bartenders did nothing to serve those who had been waiting first and seemed to have their favorites they allowed to skip the line. Said you could only have 1 of each cookie but witnessed many taking multiples and the bartenders seemed to pick and choose who they called out on it. Bought a ticket for a member of our group who was the designated driver but offered nothing else to drink but wine and still kept him at 1 each cookie also. Were also kept at 1 serving of each wine but many times we witnessed the bartenders finishing off bottles by topping off the glasses of those (their friends?sitting at the bar. At the end of the night, 15 min left of the event, someone went up and asked if they could have some extra cookies, there were a lot left, and was told everyone only gets 1 cookie and that they needed to save those cookies for the next event in 2 weeks!! Are you kidding me? Youre going to serve 2 week opened cookies at your next event? Either that or the cookies would just be thrown out? Or maybe shared with the buddies at the bar? Bartenders were not friendly, slow and seemed preoccupied with each other and bored, many times walking away and leaving 1 person to serve all those people. Whole thing seemed disorganized and for making the trip from the northwest side of Milwaukee to come down for what sounded like an interesting way to spend a Friday night it ended up feeling like a waste of time. Hope your next event in two weeks with stale cookies goes much better!

This place is amazing has a very chilled vibe to it Employees are very knowledgeable about their wine selection and do a very good job of recommending based on what you like I would highly recommend this place for a date night or even just to get a couple casual drinks. The owner is also extremely nice. I look for to coming to this place in the future and bring all my friends with.

The guy who works there is on par with any Napa, Sonoma California tasting rooms but with a friendly unpretentious demeanor. He knows his wines and is super approachable, knowledgeable and fun. Should have his on YouTube channel he is that amazing. They also have classes and cheese pairings which I want to go. Just a vibrant vibe in one of my fave locations. Also, easy parking. If you know little to nothing about wine no worries he will teach you. Wish I owned this place! Great selection and pairing experience.

Classic wine bar in a cozy setting .Always very welcoming and accommodating. They happily answer every wine question we ask and don’t make us feel inadequate in our lack of wine knowledge.

Hosted a private event and the staff was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire planning process and during the event. Also love just going here for a delicious glass of wine any day! Overall a great gem in the Third Ward.

Small, intimate venue that is frequented by residents in the Third Ward and visitors alike. Amazing staff including three certified Sommeliers. The owner, Paul, will order in your specific needs and price points. It is the best selection of wine and beer in the Third Ward. For those that are not up for a glass of wine or a craft beer, they also have a full bar for a cocktail of your choice. Also note that you can reserve the space for private events up to 45 guests. Highly recommended!

Paul at Vino Third Ward is an awesome guy. Very attentive and experienced with different selections of fine wines. I would definitely recommend this place for a cozy date night out or a zen night after a long day. The staff here are well trained and versitile. They know the types of wine I like and take very good care of me. Definitely a thumbs up and deserving of 5 star rating!!!

A casual, but yet upscale place thats a bar, but feels like a quiet coffee shop. Great space to gather and relax with a group of friends. Attentive service, and a unique selection.

Very poor experience overall. The wine options were good but one of the bottles was off. The staff seemed quite disinterested in us being there and seemed more interested in playing with a dog that kept coming in and out of the location. I do not recommend this wine bar.

Love this bar! The wine selection is great and the environment is charming inside and out. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, yet laid back and friendly. Not the stuffy feeling you typically get from some wine bars. Highly recommend checking this place out if you havent already, truly a gem in the Third Ward.

Was just at Vino for their comedy night this past weekend. The staff was super helpful with picking out a bottle of wine to share as well as very attentive during the show. Hilarious comedy, great crowd, and ridiculously affordable! Will be returning to try out the cheese plates they have on their menu.
