Its tucked away down a narrow street and its really cozy with great music and welcoming staff. The wine is fantastic and so is the food. LOVE this place. 🍷💖🍷

A realy nice place and the service is the best.

Here is what happened, We visit this place during the weekend. My boyfriend and I were planning to do it because it had good comments from previous visitors. I am not a local but I have been living in Coimbra for almost 6 years by now. Due to the weather, we arrived at the place and sat outside. The owner came and He was really nice, we asked for the menu/card/list of drinks that they had. He responded that the list was not actualized at the moment, so he proceeds to tell us what type of drinks they had available. Among them, he listed a beer that he locally made by his own and we went for it. He was talking so much and being so nice that we didn´t pay so much attention to anything really. The beer was good tho, so in the second one I saw that the name was "Belgium Ale". So I said to my boyfriend that I thought that we order the local one and he responded yes we did! then I said I think we should pay, I guess something wasnt feeling right. We paid 16 EUR for 4 beers (plus the restroom was really bad). I think I never going to visit this place anymore. I just think there are other very good options in the city, for example, "the praxis" sells local -artisanal-beer and you can do a degustation for 4.5 EUR. There is another place just crossing the street (Passaportewhere you can enjoy a bottle of wine with this amazing view for 11 EUR. I just think this place didnt worth our 16 EUR tho.

Localino molto caratteristico, stile bottega anni 30-50,vino buono e tapas semplici. Pimento verde alla griglia buonissimo, fatto espresso. Registratore di cassa a manovella, un tuffo nel passato.

Gosto muito da carta de vinhos deste lugar e também da simpatia e das sempre boas sugestões de vinhos.

It was the perfect ending for our day. We found it by coincidence but we loved the wine, the beers, the food and the service. Great place!

Enjoyable place for a beverage after spending a few hours in the university. We enjoyed a cheese meat boards with a red from the Douro.

Simpática Vinharia, na Alta de Coimbra, no fundo da primeira parte da estrada,na primeira acentuados curva para a esquerda, a Vinharia fica um pouco à frente, à direita. Como tem uma pequena esplanada, torna o espaço ainda mais agradável. Bom para dias bem dispostos, só ou com Companhia, a Vinharia é um muito agradável espaço no início da Sé Velha de Coimbra. Gostei. De Amigos e com Amigos, a nice friendly spot.

Espaço com decoração quase exagerada, mas funcionário muito atencioso, e óptima selecção de vinhos e bebidas brancas. O espaço peca pelo serviço muito demorado. Duas pessoas pagam 18€ por uma tábua de queijos e duas OPO mas as doses servidas na tábuas de enchidos e queijos são generosas. Vale a pena.

O lugar é engraçado, acho mais acolhedor a noite, com velas acesas e muitos copos em cima das mesas.Infelizmente o lugar é discuidado, o dono (embora simpáticotambém: não tive uma impressão de higiene impecável...Encontrei também fumadores no local...Afinal a conta foi sem recibo e foi cara, acho amais.Com esta experiência não posso dar uma avaliação positiva, lamento.

Lovely place worth a visit for drink or tapas

Great little place to cozy up and end an evening. Quiet corner of the neighborhood perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Cozy atmosphere, friendly owner and staff, and lots of nice wines available. Also can recommend the sangria.

Cià, facciamo un aperitivo veloce 😂 (scherzo😏)Il locale è carino, d’atmosfera, ben arredato e con musica in sottofondo a me gradita (jazz, trip hop, ambientanche se in rotazione da youtube, ma va benissimo.La selezione di vini è ampia, la sangria e lo spumante portoghese che abbiamo bevuto erano buoni. Buona selezione di gin. Il problema è l’attesa: 30 minuti per due toast, altri 30 minuti per un piatto di formaggi (ordinato subito assieme al resto), ma, soprattutto, in un wine bar, ci hanno portato il secondo giro dopo mezz’ora! Avevamo il cibo ma non da bere. Ok lo sciallo portoghese, ci sta e va condiviso e vissuto, ma dalle 9 alle 11 per fare un “aperitivo” è troppo!Occhio: selezione di cibo limitata, non ci sono piatti veri e propri.Per chi è anti fumo: qui si fuma dentro.Migliorate ragazzi, perché avete un locale molto bello! 😉

Lugar simpático em termos de localização, de conceito e de decoração. No entanto, o resto deixou muito a desejar. A sangria branca só sabia a sumo e a tosta de tomate em pão alentejano foi uma tremenda desilusão. Sem sabor, quase sem ingredientes, fatias de pão super finas e salobras, e de pão alentejano a tosta não tinha nada! Conheço bem o pão alentejano e aquele era "de plástico".Já para não falar do azar que tivemos naquele dia com os frequentadores assíduos do espaço. É que não é nada bom estar-se num local potencialmente agradável, com um grupo de pessoas ao lado a falar num tom de voz bastante elevado e com vários palavrões à mistura no discurso, sem qualquer respeito por quem estava ao redor! E sem qualquer chamada de atenção por parte da gerência do espaço, por serem conhecidos da mesma. Só se aproveitou a simpatia do empregado. Lamentável, mesmo.Tenho pena, mas foi uma experiência a não repetir e, como tal, não recomendo o espaço!

One of the best and most quiet places to drink your wine in the center of Coimbras old town. Very beautiful inner space. Very friendly staff! There is a wide variety of wines. If its a sunny day, take your glass, go outdoor and enjoy your drink in the cosy chairs (there are not manyunder the sun!

Excelente ambiente na alta de Coimbra!

Wohlfühlatmosphäre: perfekt um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen oder sich einfach durch eine kleine, aber feine Vielfalt an portugiesischem Wein zu probieren.

Mto bom ambiente, precisava de um estrado para regularizar o pavimento da esplanada.

Um local muito acolhedor bem no centro histórico de Coimbra. Muito popular junto dos estudantes e para quem gosta de um bom vinho e uma excelente tábua de enchidos. Também tem várias opções de sangria muito apreciadas junto da clientela.

Combinação perfeita do espaço/local para desfrutar de um bom vinho e uma excelente tábua de queijos. Simpatia maravilhosa e ambiente único! Recomendo!
