Vine Hopper in Noorder-Paarl

We had a great time doing the vine hopper! We did the eastern route and southern route in different days and enjoyed it both times. Marchall was our driver and he was very friendly and helpful when we were choosing our adventure. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try a variety of vineyards without having to worry about driving.

Brilliant tour, get taken to some great winerys and a great way to experience tastings as a group. Colin was amazing driving us around and allow you the time to experience the vineyard as you want. Cant recommend these guys highly enough, book with them and have a great time 👍

Was für eine großartige Idee! Weintastings auf verschiedenen exklusiven Weingütern und dabei noch gefahren werden. Die Fahrer sind sehr freundlich, die Weingüter ausgeglichen ausgewählt und jedes Tasting ist ein besonderes Erlebnis für sich. 5 Weingüter mit je 5-6 zu verköstigenden Weinen zu besuchen, kann auch anstrengend sein, in jedem Fall jedoch unterhaltsam mit tollen Einblicken in die Landschaft um Stellenbosch und die dortige Weinkultur. Für Genießer ein Muss!

Just had an excellent day, superbly looked after by Gladwin, our driver. Eastern route took in traditional old, modern and small, family run vineyards. Order was adjusted to suit our group. 2 of the wineries added in extra wines to the standard tasting to match the groups interest/appetite. Could not have been more relaxed and enjoyable.

I took the Southern route. Neethlingshof was good with wonderful views and nice breakfast. Spier was excellent. I didnt know about the extra R80 for the Eagle encounters but it was worth it. Wish I stayed longer as I had to go in the middle of the 11:00 sessions with the eagles. Should have stayed another 1,5 hours there. So much to do. Haskells is not worth stopping. Very expensive so called long table restaurant. Hope this will help future tourists.

We couldnt have been more pleased! We had a delightful time and chose the two-day pass. Veronika in the office couldnt have been more helpful. Marschall was an excellent driver and guide, helping us to choose our own adventure. He also made some quick adjustments for us at the last minute to make our time more enjoyable. Its important to understand this service is more like a shared cab. So I recommend you do your research on the wineries to know which venues you wish to visit, which tasting options to try, and where you wish to dine. We traveled as a couple and on both days and enjoyed meeting new people. I would highly recommend the Vine Hopper to anyone!

Went on the east route with Vine Hopper last week, and I have nothing but praise for the service. Picked up exactly on time, nice friendly driver, and looked after very well all day. Decent price for the service too, so nothing at all to complain about.We will definitely use them again, when we go next year.Well done chaps!

Die Tour mit dem Vine Hopper kann ich nur empfehlen, es hat riesig Spaß gemacht! Wir waren auf der Northern Route unterwegs und haben 4 von 6 Weingütern geschafft. 15 Minuten mehr Zeit bei jedem Weingut wären perfekt gewesen, aber es war auch so wirklich klasse, super organisiert - und vor allem köstlich!

Top organisierte Tour mit sympathischen und hilfsbereiten Fahrern. Wir nahmen an einer Wochenend-Tour teil. 6 Weingüter, wovon 1 eine Brandy Distillerie ist. Tolle Tour mit tollen Weingütern. Zeiten und Ablauf wurden immer mit dem Fahrer besprochen. Wir haben die Weingüter gemütlich angeschaut und haben 4 geschafft. Absolut empfehlenswert!

It was a really nice tour, we had a great group and a nice atmosphere. Marshall was a pretty good driver who provided us with a lot of information. Although its a little expensive compared to South African standards, its definitely worth the money! The earlier you start the more wine yards you will see. We started at 11.00 and got to see 4 of them. I can totally recommend the Van Ryn Cellar Tour on the southern route. Even if you dont like brandy - give it a chance! Ive never tried brandy and it was the highlight of our tour! Definitely would recommend the tour!

Super Tour! Wir haben die Southern Route gewählt. Man wird direkt von der Unterkunft (unsere lag ein wenig ausserhalb auf einem Weingutabgeholt und dann zu den verschiedenen Weingütern gebracht, sodass man sich keine Sorgen ums Fahren machen muss. Am Ende wurde man wieder an der Unterkünfte abgesetzt. Die Fahrer waren super, man bekam ausreichend Zeit für die besuchten Weingüter (siehe Flyer auf der Homepage, die Abfahrtszeiten wersen individuell angepasst und dienen nur ekner groben Orientierung wie lange man ca. auf den Weingütern verbringt). Je früher man startet, desto mehr Weingüter kann man besichen - und haben 4 Stück gelangt ;🍷Sehr zu empfehlen!

Great wine tours, which are hop on hop off at your leisure! They collect guests from Stellenbosch guest houses such as The Beautiful South Guest House, and after the tour, they drop the guests back. Reliable, honest, knowledgeable and friendly, I highly recommend this business.
