Novel museum with exhibits involving upside-down rooms & size distortions, plus an LED light show.
Unexpectedly delightful!I almost didn’t come to this museum but I am so glad I did. It is a gem and refreshingly different from a traditional museum. (As much as I love traditional museums, sometimes you just need something new.)The museum is relatively small so you can easily fit it in any spare hour or two that you have. The staff walked me through all the displays and explained them in excellent English while being warm and personable.
Entrance fee is not expensive and staff is really helpful. the place is phenomenal and the science behind it is mind blowing. A must see for sure
It was fantastic. The staff was very attentive and took pictures of us and explained how the illusions worked. They had some cool pieces that Ive never seen before. It was a lot of fun. They also have a cute 2D cafe with some drinks and desserts.
Brilliant couple of hours. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable explaining the science behind the exhibits and helping take those tricky pics.
This place is truly amazing. You will be extremely delighted and open your mouth not once or twice asking yourself "How?!" We were here with a 6-year-old kid and he was as amazed as we were :)
This is one of the coolest things I’ve been to recently; mostly thanks to the excellent tour provided by Ingrida. It was great how she enabled me to have fun with each of the exhibits while providing the reasoning and background for each.I was really looking forward to coming to this museum and it definitely met my expectations. As a full time traveler, I highly recommend this place!Thank you for the warm hospitality and for making it fun.
I genuinely loved every second spent in this museum! The tour guide Aukse was absolutely brilliant and she explained every single piece with accurate details. I had lots of fun and she was happy to engage and answer to all my questions! If you go to Vilnius, this museum is a must!
Very welcoming, lovely and professional staff. The exhibits are very interesting. The whole atmosphere of the museum is very nice.
Pretty basic 25 minutes of fun for the kids.
This museum is just wonderful. All elements of the exhibition are interesting and might change your point of view on sciences. If you visit this place, trust me, you will not regret it.
Great place for adults as so as for kids. A lot, lot things to see, to touch, to do and to think about!2D cafe, performed in graphical design, integrated perfectly into first exhibitions hall (try an acorn coffee if you are there).
I liked it. It had much more to offer than I thought. Interesting experiences. Friendly and helpful personnel so you can see things from new perspectives and also learn something.
Great optical illusions that come from all time periods. Lots of hands-on displays that are fun for children as well as adults. Lovely café/bar inside as well.
Great for kids or those young at heart. Was really cool.
Small but enjoyable collection of various visual and tactile illusions. Great and helpful English speaking staff. A well spent hour or two.
Super cool museum, very interactive & supporting staff ;will definitely recommend anyone who comes to Vilnius
Again Had a lot of fun with my family , brilliant place to spent 2 hrs with laugh and amusement.its a pity that you have changed the upside-down room into smaller much less real version 😔 but hey we still had a wonderful time ❤️Thank you Girls 😊
The target audience of this museum are kids. Anyone older than 10 will find it super boring. The exposition is weirdly arranged, there are lines to take a photo with a chair upside down, and the illumination is terrible. It is not worth its price (12€).
Very cool museum for the whole family
Great place to see even as an adult without kids.
Really cool stuff. Must see when in Old Town Vilnius.
Enjoyed our visit. Loved the help of guides throughout museum. Maybe not very interesting for a 2yo but the parents liked all the exhibits.
We had a fun time visiting this Museum with lots of optical installations on two floors. Every illusion is nicely explained too. Probably a cool place to go with kids if you have any. They also have this cool 2D coffee upstairs and outdoors.
Awesome museum! Much fun for youth and adults. Hands on and great for pictures.
Very nice museum, 9€ for students and 12€ for adults is pretty good! Good exhibition as well as very nice and enthusiastic staff who were happy to explain stuff and help
Cool and interesting museum. Helpful staff.Takes approximatly 45 min to see all the attractions.
Very friendly staff in a very nice museum. Staff are happy to explain what you are looking at. And luckily they speak good English because we dont understand Lithuanian. As seniors we also got a discount on the entrance. We enjoyed ourselves.
A magical place - wouldnt know a better way to call it. Every object of the exhibition made me wonder "how is that possible?!" Which led to a magnificent feeling of solving the mystery (Lets be honest, most of the tricks had to be explained by amazing magicians - guides, who work there, greetings to you! I wish you a lot of visitors who will be enchanted by this place 😉). Visit this place, you wont be disappointed!
More often I will keep away from museums because I get restless and probably a bit bored, but this one was actually fun and different. You also have guides walking around explaining about the different installations, which is nice.
Had such an amazing time here that my brain is still recovering from what I saw! The staff were super welcoming and took the time to explain and show me the different illusions and took photos of me too!! Also brought back memories of books on illusions I had as a kid. One super sweet staff member even gifted me a Magic Eye postcard. Please please take the time to visit! It’s definitely worth it!!
Very interesting museum for both children and grown-ups!
Great museum - sweet employees, who were ready to guide you. Sometimes a bit too much interaction, as you wanted just to see and discover the things for yourself. The “magic” was kind of ruined in that way. Still a good experience.
Interesting and interactive museum for whole family! Very helpful staff and lovely atmosphere!Well recommended to visit when out and about in Vilnius Old town!
The museum is really nice and interesting. The entrance ticket costs 12€ for adults (it should be cheaper for childrenyou will be able to find different types of installations and in addition there’s also a nice 2D Cafe and a point of sale in case you want to take with you some pieces of art of illusion! is absolutely worth visiting at least once.
What a fantastic idea for a museum. The guides were fantastic and there was so much to get around and seeSome amazing photo opportunities and interactive exhibitions made this a must see for me in Vilnius. The 2d cafe is also great!!
Im so glad that we have visited this museum! Probably the best in my life:)Children and adults were very impressed.Staff was friendly and helpful, also very communicative, all explained on perfect English, Russian and Lithuanian. My children keep asking for fly back to Vilnius just to visit this museum one more time:)Please dont hesitate, youll have fun!
Everybody has to visit this EXTRA INTERESTING and funny place😍 tricky tasks, scientific curiosities and more...we loved it very well. (Young family with 6ys old boy)
It’s fascinating. It’s fun. It’s sure to be surprising. Welcome to the historical premises full of riveting illusions, wonderful atmosphere and helpful staff. Thanks for a very fun day.
Must to do in the city. I highly enjoyed the different arts in the museum and the staff are really friendly here :Thanks again to all of them and especially to Karolina 👍
Its was nice to spend an hour differently. Interesting to find out how illusion works and how its done. Nice staff, was approaching often and give information about, even help to make few pictures. We enjoy it.
Truly interesting and great fun! Visualized classic gestalt puzzles, illusions and up to date presentations. Nicest help and info from the team.
Worth a visit. Interactive, hands on exhibits. A little pricey at 11 Euros entrance. Love the 2D cafe!
We were looking to kill a few hours before a flight, and found this place on TripAdvisor. I wasnt particularly expecting much, but was really surprised at how cool some of the displays were. Id say you could easily spend two hours here, and at 12 euros, thats great value.
This place was about as great as I expected. It’s well thought out and a lot of effort had been put into it. It’s a solid 40 minutes of entertainment for €6 which is great!
Great place to spend a hour or two, with mind-exploding illusions and tricks. A good place for families, only be aware, if you are in a wheelchair or you a stroller/pushchair, you will have to carry it down to carry the expedition.
Very interesting visit, you will learn a lot of things and see impressive illusions!!The staff is very helpful and can explain to you every piece of art and effect!! You have multiple objects and themes and artworks! Its a must see in terms of museums when you visit Vilnius and especially if you look for something less casual and funnier than classical monuments 😊
We had such a great time there , time flies like a rocket. Illusions, effects made in front of you . Very helpful staff made our visit comfortable and funny. We don’t have kids but if you come with the whole family - everyone goes out satisfied, 5 stars
Great place to visit, especially with kids. We all had great fun exploring, playing with light and shapes, checking out different rooms. It is not huge but a lot of fun and the staff is super nice - they will show you around and explain different illusions. Fun for small and big.
This museum was awesome. The customer service was great as well. They have staff who will explain the illusions and give you ideas for what to do. Something unique and different that you can do in 1 hour. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a twist on life and how you view things.
I really enjoy this place. The things that they have in the museum I really cool. But the best part is that the tour guides they are great. they speak very good English and is very easy to understand them. They will tell you about everything inside the museum they will take photos for you. And like I said theyre very welcoming. Ive heard that they also have a light show at night but I could not attend it. I believe you can attend this light show if you purchase the admission ticket, however you have to get a stamp on it. Yeah, I enjoyed it.
