A menu specializing in Italian-style pizzas, pastas, & small plates in a modern space with a patio.
Service was exceptional. A warm greeting, quick service, and outstanding food. Nice atmosphere.
Very unfortunate that they do not do brunch or lunch orders to-go. I really used to like this place, but this has soured my experience vastly. Why are dinner items different than brunch/lunch items? They both can go in a box. Very disappointed.
Food was very good. Menu selection good. Good service. Prices seemed a little high for what you got.
Great food and service in a charming atmosphere and really good Lemon Drop Martinis! The Avocado Crab appetizer is excellent.
We liked the Margherita and Fig and Prosciutto Pizzas. Also enjoyed the Carbonara and Caprese salad. Thank you.
After so many people telling us to try this place. I had to see for myself if it was really that good. I gotta say I am very disappointed. Im from Brooklyn and this is not real Italian food. More like chef boyardee. The music also didnt go so well with the place, it was too loud. Definitely graded at a D.
We ate dinner there tonight. The food and service were just mediocre. My main complaint was that I asked the waitress if the veal picatta was pounded thin. She said it was but it obviously wasnt. Please dont advertise a dish as veal picatta when it is really a veal cutlet served over lemon linguini. Please ask the chef to look up what picatta is so you can serve it correctly. Heres the definition - "Piccata is an Italian word, also spelled picatta or pichotta. The culinary use of the Italian term means "to be pounded flat".
Great new discovery for us!! Excellent happy hour, probably the best in town!
The BEST BRUNCH in Tyler! 🥂💕 I love the atmosphere with my girls and the staff are so kind to kiddos on a easy Saturday morning family brunch!
Lovely place to dine. A little pricey. Food is good. Our waitstaff was very good, however would like to see more consistent dress code within the waitstaff overall.
Very nice upscale environment. The service was pristine. Although my daughter and I had the blackened Chicken Alfredo with penne pasta the sauce was nah and the water from the pasta was not apatizing. Tiramisu was fantastic according to my adult daughter so theres that. The chicken was also well seasoned. Just wish there was better sauce to noodle ratio and there wasnt so much pasta water.
I miss your loaf bread that you made in-house. Also, their dishes and cocktails can be inconsistent with what they post on social media. I did order the lobster ravioli and it did not smell right but they did not hesitate to take it back. I do live their fig pizza.
Tonight I decided to splurge a little and show myself a little love. Enjoying a delicious Italian Margarita, slight spicy with citrus and house infused Serrano pepper simple syrup…so good!! Entree is a perfectly cooked pistachio crusted salmon with saffron orzo, sated mushrooms and leeks. Finished it off with a chocolate drizzled tiramisu and a snifter of cognac on this crispy cool evening. Ya’ll come check this place out in Tyler, Tx. Cheers!

The food here is wonderful. Starting off with calamari and lump crab was great, followed off by the capris salad. My taste buds were thriving when brought to our table was the delicious veal picatta entrée. This wasnt offered on the menu, but they didnt bat an eye when it was requested. My wife had the veil parmasean, which was also quite delicious. The server was a doll that jumped when we said frog, and I couldnt have asked for better service. All the dishes were spaced out perfectly, and the overall meal was a pleasure. We will definitely be back to this fabulous restaurant.
I ordered through a third party app (Grub Huband the app wouldn’t allow me to choose a specific way of making something that Villagio had if one is dining in. So i called up there to make a request and I confused the nice hostess so i asked to speak to the manager, Kasi. She got on the phone and was wonderful. She went above and beyond to help me get my order I placed perfect. Five stars a fabulous manager and great food!
This was my second time coming here, tonight I took my Momma here for her birthday dinner. It was an awesome experience. Our waiter was Royal and he was a rockstar. Make sure to request him on your next visit. My Wife couldn’t make it and she was so jealous when I told her where we went. I’ll be back….
Gorgeous inside , very upscale and nice. Very clean and food was great. But pricey but worth it to me. Brick oven pizza though was spot on price and quality
excellent crab cakes and meatball appetizers. tho they were not real busy, the service by John was great. excellent pricing on good cab wines. Vhicken Alfredo was good. but would have preferred fettuccine noodles instead of penny. all in all a good Friday afternoon late lunch in Tyler. Texas.
If you are ever in Tyler, Texas and want a great brunch, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!The young lady behind the bar, Hailey/ Halley (sorry if I spelled it incorrectlyshe was the epitome of great customer service. I live in Tyler and I had a friend come to town. My friend wanted good Italian food at 11 am in the morning. We loved the shakshuka!!! The bread was divine. Thank you to the crew that made a wonderful memory for us.
The food was amazing, and the service was amazing! They had the perfect proportions of food, and it was just all around amazing. I will say that place is pricey, but it makes for a great place to eat for anything thats important. From business, to even a date.
Excellent service very nice decor the food was good but something is missing in the kitchen. I would definitely come back for the pizza and wine at the bar.
First, let me say... when it comes to quality food, I am not concerned with the cost.I am visiting from out of town & took my Mother (A localhere on 10/02/2020. It has been extremely difficult to find quality food in this part of Texas & since this was a more costly option than your average Tyler hole in the wall, I assumed it would be better... I was wrong. We ordered the following...Bruschetta: (When I pronounced it correctly, broo·skeh·tuh ... The server did not seem to understand. This is an extremely small detail, I know, but they need to know the proper name of the dishIt tasted simply of tomatoes & cheep balsamic. Overall very basic & obviously subpar tomatoes.I ordered the pistachio crusted salmon with risotto. I found the entire dish to be lacking in flavor. Very mediocre. My Mother ordered the blackened halibut with Brussel sprouts. The veggies were by far the most delicious food served that day, her halibut was better than my salmon, though thats not saying much. This along with the red sauce that it was served with made the entire dish extremely salty.I ordered an Old Fashioned, which was delicious. My Mother ordered a Dirty Martini, which she found disappointing & did not care for the olives that it was served with, probably from a cheep jar.Our total if you happen to be interested was just over $100As a side note, upon originally entering the restaurant we were met with an extremely luke warm greeting by what I assume was one of the Managers. If the food had been amazing, I could have let this slide as this is typical behavior from humans that reside within environments deemed elevated above standard, though for Villaggio Del Vino, only aesthetically & only just slightly. My hunt for fresh delicious food in this area continues...Sincerely,Tired in Tyler.
I went with some friends last weekend because they had been the night before and raved about the food. We ordered a charcuterie board and had to pull TWO hairs out of it! 🤢 The pizza was just okay, but the server was excellent!
Food was excellent and so was the service. I would say the customers were the only part of our dinner that was not perfect. There were some looks and comments made by the other diners who apparently didnt think "cowboys" (as they called usare not good enough to eat with them. Maybe they need to understand that its our fishermen and farmers (or cowboysthat provided their food! Food was a little expensive but worth every penny! The pistachio crusted salmon with saffron risotto was amazing.
This may sound cliché, but it is never the less true that in this world of hustle and bustle, it is hard to find somewhere that you can simply relax and enjoy good food while spending an evening with good people. If you feel this way, Villaggio del Vino could be the place for you. A beautiful establishment with great food and better service, Villaggio del Vino is one of those few restaurants that make you sad when you notice your food is all gone. This is not because you are left hungry, but because you know the meal is almost over and it will soon be time for you to go. You will be sad to go, but you will also be excited for your next visit. For food lovers out there, I highly recommend attending this fine establishment anytime you are in the mood for food.Notes on the food:The menu is rather small, but the variety of items on the on it is quite surprising. By far, my favorite item is the crab cakes. They are meant to be shared, but I cant help but hog them all to myself.Notes on the staff:Benjamin has waited on us on a multitude of occasions. I wish I could give this review a 5.5 star rating to match the 110% attitude Benjamin always brings to his work. It was a delight having him wait on us and talk to us.
I always enjoy going to Villaggio! Their salmon and their brussel sprouts are my all-time favorites, and we always luck out by having the nicest waiter! Benjamin is the tall one with a welcoming smile and a personality to match. When the person serving you is just as great as the food, theres no denying that restaurant is one of the best. Well definitely keep going back to Villaggio!
TRY ALL THE THINGS! Everything on the menu is fantastic, the chef has some serious talent. The crab and avocado dip is a staple for our family and the pistachio salmon is my fav. Even the kids meals are fantastic (try the chicken with truffle fries). Ben was so sweet and took such great care of our table of twenty.
My husband and I went here a lot when we were first dating. If youre looking for a classy, upscale restaurant in Tyler, this is the place for you. The food is great, the staff is kind, and its usually not too loud to hold a decent conversation. When you go in, ask for Ben. He is the best waiter!
My husband and I have dined at Villaggio del Vino multiple times and have thoroughly enjoyed everything weve tried there. Im particularly fond of the stuffed mushrooms, the bruschetta, and the golden beet salad. Our children enjoy eating there as much as their parents. The waitstaff is excellent, especially Ben! He has taken fantastic care of us every time we eat there. Love his flawless manners and bright smile! :-)
I would recommend this resturaunts anyone. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is amazing, and Ms. Fredericka is the best waitress ever! Very fun and attentive! She will have you laughing and having fun! Go by and see her and have some great food!
Visited Villaggio Del Vino on a trip to Tyler to visit friends and am now wishing I was able to visit all the time. The staff was incredible and all so friendly. Our waitress, Summer, knew the best wine pairings for our meal. The calamari was delicious, followed by the manicotti. Visited on their wine down Wednesday and was able to purchase half price bottles of my favorite Chardonnay! Wish I could give this place more than five stars
My husband and I enjoyed some cocktails at the bar last Saturday and had a lovely time. We moved to the dining room afterwards for our meal which was delicious. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning! Ask for Summer!!
I had a great experience here! My server Emily was welcoming with a warm personality. I’m always indecisive so she recommended Sous Chef Mi’cha’el Digby’s specialty pan seared scallops over four cheese ravioli in a butter white wine sauce. The flavors were mind blowing blending together in a harmonious melody. Thanks guys for the stellar meal and excellent service. I can definitely see myself exploring more of the menu
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. My experience was great! My server Emily C. was amazing. She was very attentive and welcoming. The food was to die for. Sous Chef Digbys dish made me feel like it was tailored made for me. This restaurant is now my go-to. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends!
This is our go-to spot whether it’s a casual week night dinner or a milestone celebration. One of THE BEST restaurants in Tyler! Amazing service! Great wine list - try Conundrum Red! Anything Chef Rick makes is superb, and Fredericka, Ben and the rest of the staff will make you feel like royalty. Love you guys!
Ate here on trip to visit family and was not disappointed! The back patio was nice and private with a great fireplace. The service was incredible and we enjoyed having Summer as our waitress. She made helped us pick out great dishes — crab and avocado tower, lobster ravioli, and chocolate cheesecake! Mmmm, will definitely return next time I’m in town
This place is AMAZING! The dining atmosphere is beyond beautiful and the food is delicious. Words cannot describe the "Stacked Chicken Saltimbocca"! The staff is awesome!...Our waitress, Summer, took great care of us! I look forward, and cannot wait, to spend another pleasant evening here!
The environment is very casual or dressy either way u wont feel out of place. The food was delicious but the portions are a little small for the price you pay for your meal thats why Im saying 4 out of 5 stars. The waitstaff was amazing and attentive. Overall it was a pleasant experience out with coworkers.
I ordered the Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan and I have to say that I was extremely underwhelmed. I paid $18 each and it tasted like Chef Boyardee slapped something together in a can and served it to me. My pasta of the Chicken Parmesan was way undercooked it was too hard to even eat. The pasta sauce tasted like a can of Hunt’s was dumped on top of everything. The lasagna was crumbly and stale and looked to be old and reheated. I will not be returning here. If you are in the mood for good Italian food I recommend Portofino’s without a doubt.
This was an amazing experience. Food was absolutely decadent. I do wish though that the server was spoke a bit louder. However, she was very prompt and well versed in her art.
Great place, great service! I ordered a pizza, and while it was delicious, I wish it had been more well done. Next time I will order it so!
Excellent food, good portions. Comfortable atmosphere and well-managed by the amazing Michelle.Highly recommend the Chicken Piccata, its one of the best. Two patios with plenty of outdoor seating.
I had so much fun for my birthday. The service was great and the staff was wonderful. The owners wife came over and spoke to us. She was so friendly and it made my night wonderful.
A very elegant restaurant. We met here to have a surprise birthday party for our friend, and our expectations were completely exceeded. The atmosphere is upscale and trendy with beautiful splashy color schemes. The food is gourmet picture perfect and delicious. The waitstaff is friendly and accommodating. There is valet and self parking available. This is definitely an addition to my favorites list.
Visited on Wine Down Wednesday, my kind of place. Great staff, good food and a nice selection of wine. The decor is modern and clean. Can’t wait for cooler weather when we can enjoy the outdoor patio.
We usually have to go to Dallas to have amazing food, not any more!!! This was such a surprise. By far, the best food in Tyler. Service was on point and friendly but not intrusive. Wine selection was great and the electronic wine list was user friendly. We ordered the lamb shank and braised short ribs, both were wonderful and portion sizes were huge! The crab and avocado appetizer was light and fresh, a delicious beginning to the meal. The creme brulee was another generous portion and went perfectly with the port wine we ordered. I am relieved that we dont have to drive into Dallas anymore when we want a date night. Im already planning our next visit. (Please give me a thumbs up if you found this review helpful.)
Great romantic atmosphere. Good service and management. Pricey for Tyler but worth it for special occasions. Ask about the special for something that is off menu.
One of my favorite places to eat and experience. The staff is very personable and the food is incredible and always improving!
Excellent atmosphere and setting. Service was great. Food was really good with amazing presentation. We were lucky enough to go on Saturday when they serve brunch. Would of gave 5 star but wifes food was luke warm and mine lacked some flavor. All in all though would definitely come back and recommend.
