Villa Oniria in Granada
Description
MoreI have just spent five wonderful days in Granada. Staying at the hotel was an absolute Pleasure. I cannot praise the staff enough from reception, housekeeping and restaurant for their attentiveness to customer care. The food was amazing.i am so looking forward to returning
MoreBeautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Granada. Great location, superb service, elegant rooms - a little gem!
Moreoverall a good experience and very pleasant night, the spa is a bit of a deal breaker for me but otherwise its a small comfortable, quiet and elegant hotel.
MoreHotel is very good, very proper, very clean. Location is excellent. 400 meters from the center. Staff is very helpfull and supportiv.
MoreDo yourself a favour and enjoy the tasting menu at the restaurant. Amazing food and great service at a very reasonable price.
MoreBeautful hotel!
We enjoyed the stay here very much! Nice stuff, helpful and polite. The room was lovely so the hotel himself and we definitely would come back!
MoreGreat hotel, with incredible restaurant. Nice and welcoming staff.
Myself and my parents stayed in Villa Oniria for 5 nights while visiting Granada. We left the hotel on the Friday after having purchased a cake for the staff in the hotel which we bought from the delicious bakery across the road (delicious bakery by the way). The reason we felt the need to do this was the main man on the reception was incredibly helpful, patient and thorough with everything from start to finish. When we first checked in he gave us an overview of the city, where to get food, where to see the cultural and historical pieces and where we could shop. But it is really when we needed to shorten our stay that he was most professional and accomodating. We were caught by BOOKING.COM who said we could change our dates but the hotel made it their business to help us to do this for no other reason than good will.Next time I would definitely book directly with the hotel!!
MoreI adore this hotel. The communal areas are perfect. The sun room is my favourite place to work and chat with friends and the restaurant is perfect. The rooms are generously proportioned, with high ceilings, a mini-bar and generous beds.Classic, timeless decor with a decadent and relaxing atmosphete. Perfect.
MoreHotel is cozy and nice. Less than 40 rooms in total, which makes it really cozy and like a boutique hotel. The architecture is nice, it’s well decorated and service is good. The food at the restaurant (Oniricowhich oppened not long ago is amazing. And the terrace is very welcoming to chill an afternoon.
MoreIM LOVING IT
Nice lobby with a fancy fountain right next to it, perfect picture, magic is gone after that.. Gonna stick to my own experience which might not be fair though, but I guess weve just got the worst room in there, heading the south hence the extreme heat all day long (and night), despite having an AC that made the day time bearable, at night it was noisy and when we switched it off the room turned into hell, we opened the rooftop window (we got the room in the attic like most of standard roomsand then we heard all traffic and noises early in the morning.. Worst sleeping ever. The shower has got 4 different handles for cold and hot water, to control 2 different showers which made it totally confusing, no indications whatsoever and almost ended up burning my body, my hand was burnt though when I grabbed the mobile shower since it was so hot and the material its made of was so bad that it didnt isolate heat at all, and that all while I was trying to get the water under control.. Funny but true. Also last but not least, Wi-Fi completely sucks, not able to properly check social networks whatsoever.. I guess its bad luck, but Id avoid this hotel if Im ever again in this area.
MoreCharming hotel in Granada located a few minutes walk from all the major attractions in Granda (without being surrounded by tourists). The building and decor is elegant and well maintained. The rooms are classy, clean and quaint. The restaurant menu is unassuming, but the food is high quality, authentic cuisine with excellent service. And the restaurant is on a beautiful outdoor courtyard with fountains. Highly recommend staying here and eating dinner and breakfast at the restaurant.
MoreVery comfortable, good location and very reasonable price.
terrible service
Great!
Lovely Hotel lovely Staff
Way beyond its expiration date. The hotel has a lot of potential but fails to meet the most basic of expectations:- room cleanliness is nearly inexistent; dead mosquitos upon arrival in the curtain, stains on the floor and on the curtains, weird trash in the shower, carpet left uncleaned during our two-nights stay. Check pictures. To be fair we should also have reported the un-cleaniness as soon as possible to give the hotel a chance to fix things. This is on us and a learning opportunity to behave differently next time but its still an unexpected and unpleasant situation.- service upon arrival not worthy of a 4*: aside from the grumpiness we got a "take what you need from the car and we will take it to the garage". Im happy to do it but at least an hotel of this supposed quality should offer to help us with the luggage (if needed). This is not "valet service".- spa is anything but relaxing, e.g. lacking a resting room. We payed for daily access to the spa and yet were charged extra for slippers, bathing caps and robes. Towels were not available, we ended up taking some from the massage area (as outlawsbut honestly this is weird. Were we supposed to bring our (onlylarge towels from the room?!- breakfast is fine but not for a 4*. Coffee is low quality and there is no indication of what you are eating. Service is slow and non-attentive.- bar lacks service and left most tables dirty. In addition, Aperol Spritz served on a champagne glass without ice (its fine if you dont know what an Aperol Spritz is, but then dont offer it for 8(!€ on your menu), waiter forgot half our order, and left the table dirty from previous clients. On top of all, and as if this was not already bad enough, the Aperol Spritz arrived a good ten minutes before the other drink, even though we ordered both of them together. At the most basic bar you would get two drinks you order as a couple at the same time. Is this even a 2* service?- thrown out of the breakfast buffet 10minutes past the time because they wanted to close. There are nicer ways of telling someone to leave (or prepare to leaveespecially when the buffet is still set and needs to be cleaned...To top it all, we decided to leave earlier and announced an unplanned early departure for the next day. No questions were asked about whether everything was ok or if this was due to a problem with our stay. This is unexpected from the lowest possible standards of hotels/hostels.We ended up giving all this feedback at check-out. But my recommendation is to make yourself a favor and choose another hotel, its not worth it and the price is anyways too high for the lack of service and quality. I do admit there is a lot of potential to the property, and thats why a change in management, staff (trainingand most of all infrastructure is strongly advised!
MoreIdeally refurbished courthouse in downtown Granada with high quality cleaning service.
MoreNice boutique hotel, cozy, good restaurant
Just lovely. Any time again.
Stunning place.
Excellent situated for visiting Granada by foot!
Nice rooms and very quiet, but a catalog of service lapses and annoyances downgraded the experience. Examples included hotel staff rarely present at the desk, dining and room service (!not available on Sunday and Mondays, the “shower” is a joke - just a hose with a spritzer, and the phone set in the room was such poor quality that voices were too soft to be understood. The “free breakfast” was worth about that: from the “fresh” pineapple that had been sitting out so long it was brown, no fresh juices, and jamon that was dried out and chewy. The croissants were good, but some of the breads were actually stale! Overall, the hotel is comfortable and looks nice but needs to revisit its commitment to quality and service.
MoreJust go and behold! I find no words and that is something that very rarely happens to me. Another reason to visit a city full of them.
MorePretty communal areas, rooms are tired looking with scuffed walls and the parking gym and other areas like spa are not free as you might expect from a 4 star hotel
MoreWas impossible to sleep as despite 30deg heat in the day the hotel would not turn air conditioning on, room was like a sauna. We were repeatedly told they would turn the central air from hot to cold soon but never did. No sleep at all! Opening windows didnt help as there was a street party outside
MoreThis is a very comforting place. Inside it is warm and inviting. Well laid out and cheerfully decorated for Valentines Day. We spent 3days there. Free breakfast was excellent. Something for everyone. The rooms were comfortable and met all our needs. Service was excellent. Very service oriented. We didnt go to the spa but, heard it wasnt that great. We werent going to the spa anyway. The Valentines special was great. Centrally located. Well go back there.
MoreNice hotel with very good restaurant, 10min away from the cathedral and very close to the shopping area
MoreVery nice place, could have used some better cleaning on surfaces and switches. The spa left alot to be desired. Overall good experience, dont go for the spa
MoreMostly good. Carpets in rooms dirty.
Nice place to visit!
Beautiful hotel, nice, quiet rooms, spa like showers. Good location near lots of things but not too Central to be noisy.
MoreGreat rooms and design in the hotel. Not the greatest location. Facilities need a bit of updating.
MoreA fun place.
Staff are so helpful and our stay was fabulous.
When in Granada..Villa Onira with its fine dining restaurant..is the way to go.Lovely boutique hotel with nice rooms courteous staff. Central location
MoreCalm and peaceful stay. Great location and superb courtyard.
Villa Oniria is a beautiful place right in the centre of Granada. Weve only been here a few times to have a coffee or a drink, by the fireplace, but its been great.
MoreGreat location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice rooms. Very clean bathroom. Highly recommend
MoreGenial!
Lovely property in a lovely city. Very convienent location and helpful staff.
spa so good
Ok
Lovely hotel, stayed there for 4 nights and did not want to leave!Very quiet - no noise whatsoever once you enter the room.Friendly staff, lovely restaurant, I liked the way they utilised the space in the room.Hotel restaurant is a Michelin Star, well worth the money (around 50 euros per head prior to wine). They came with 2 pre-starters and then a pre-dessert and then a post-dessert (in truth we could have done without ordering anything at all!!!)Anyway had a really lovely time and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone needing some serious relaxation!PS: Theres no Wifi, or it never works. Also dont expect too much from the Spa. If you walk in with these expectations you will be pleasantly surprised!
