Food was okay was there several years ago service seem to be a little bit better then ordered punch for our event was given mimosas unfortunately some of the minors that were there started to drink it before we realized they were apologetic but never got any punch they did get us some juice for the kids food was okay not very accommodating though only gave us 1 hour to decorate we did show up earlier than we were supposed to and hopes that they would let us in to start decorating and they did but an hour which was the allotted time they gave you its just not enough to decorate

Couldnt recommend this place enough. Took my uncle and cousins here for a golf outing. The course conditions were great! Every staff member we came into contact was polite and accommodating. We finished our round early enough to catch the Sunday Brunch. They had a wide variety of options to choose from. One of the people in our group was a vegetarian and would not shut up about how good their omelet was.Looking forward to going back during the winter to ski!

Played on May 19th. The rough was not cut (8 inches high). Spent lots of time looking for golf balls in the rough. Generally, the course is not c ared for yet they increased prices. Wont be back.

This was one of the worst golf courses Ive ever played. The rough was longer than the US Open. He tee boxes are not level and are in desperate need of seeding. The bunkers are like hitting off the parking lot. I wont be back.

We used to come here to enjoy brunches for special occassions like Easter and Thanksgiving and even random Sundays. Too bad the phone communication and service and attitude by the team was horrible and rude to try to book Mothers Day Brunch this year. While we understand Mothers Day is booked, we wont be back.

We were here for snow tubing one weeknight recently. The staff working the hill (mostly teenage boys or young menwere very friendly, helpful and pleasant. They went the extra step to ensure you had a good experience with whatever winter sport you wanted to participate in. If it werent so far from the city, i would come here more often. Would definitely recommend for a nice winter experience.

I was surprised with size of the hill and almost no crowd at Saturday!!! Much much better place then four lakes skiing are!! Perfect for beginners! Only complain is chairlift can move bit faster but due to many newbies who falls all the time on unload it pretty much impossible to accomplish((

Paid for ski rentals and tickets and once we arrived to the equipment desk... they had no adults skis. Why don’t they inform us at the beginning? Bad internal communication and inexperienced staff. They also said tubing was sold out “because of covid”Waste of time.

We had a blast snow tubing at night. The only thing this place needs is a hand rail that you can hold onto while moving on the magic carpet. There is a hand rail but it’s for walking up.

Service was slow because I assume there were 250 people there. Maybe it was understaffed. Some meals came out on the cool side and the broccoli wasnt cooked all the way. Better luck next time.

Came here for the all you can eat fish fry, there were not many people but that isnt necessarily a bad thing. The location itself was nice and they had decorated for the holidays in a festive manner. Service was good and we enjoyed the salad bar and soup. Unfortunately the fish was not that good, it came out somewhat warm but not hot like you would expect if the fish was freshly fried. Fries were also the same temperature, perhaps the food was prepared ahead of time and not made to order. The breading on the fish was pretty thick and overdone, not to my preference but within the boundaries of acceptability. Sundae at the end was nice, they rolled over a cart and had toppings. Overall it was below what I expected but it was fine for the price I suppose. One final note, I did find a hair in my food and am pretty sure it was not mine as it was partially inside the breading. I found it near the end of the meal and luckily did not put it in my mouth, did not feel like complaining since we were wrapping up and it didnt seem like it was worth the effort to make a fuss about it.

Went for a venue tour with Patty. Felt like we were being rushed and there was no actual desire for our business. Threw her hands up several times as an "I dont care" to any concern I had. Got visually upset about us reasoning with ourselves and listing cons about some options of the venue. Turns out she was planning her own wedding there, so things became clear as to why she was getting upset. Unprofessional all the way around. Needless to say I stopped the tour early, citing her attitude. If you dont want my business, Ill be glad to give it to someone who does.

Possibly the worst golf course I’ve ever played. There were three fairways (15 & 17, maybe 7?in fair to decent shape but most were patchy and were poorly cut. Almost all the tee boxes were patchy and not level. The rough were poorly cut and extremely difficult to find your ball even when it was just off the fairway. The greens were decent but often patchy too. Bunkers were so pathetic that dandelions grow in the middle (see picture). The greens fee is overpriced but I wouldn’t play this course if it was free.

Course is in very good shape. Greens are a little sandy and hard though. Great front 9 not so much on the back 9. All in all though fun course and if you can land a good deal on Golfnow worth it.

Please, avoid/boycott this place. I was driving down west on Lake Street and turned left heading south on Naperville Road (a busy main road). After turning on Naperville Rd, a golf ball hit my vehicle causing damage that will need to be repaired.Villa Olivia is taking zero responsibility for this, refusing to pay the repairs for the damages. The location of where my car got hit was from the ninth (finalhole of the golf course. By the time I got to the facility to confront the golfer, he/she had already left being the end/final hole of the course. So on top of the golf course attempting to wipe their hands clean of the damages, they are refusing to let me contact the golfer that hit my car (based on records of who was there at that time)Very unethical and irresponsible business practices. The golf course is liable for this since they did not provide adequate protection for golf balls leaving their property. Furthermore, there is no indication/signage in the route I was driving that there was even a golf course or a warning drivers of potential hazards furthering their negligence.A police report has been filed against Villa Olivia and the Bartlett Park District (who owns the golf course). I certainly hope they do the right thing and pay the deductible for my damages. Why should it be the driver’s responsibility to pay for the vehicle damage cause by a golfer on their property?! Please do the right/ethical thing and pay the deductible to this damage.

Instructor Frank was nice, but the service with the others was horrible. We waited 2 hours and they didn’t let us rent skis. They were OPEN. A lady came in and told them to start, they said okay, then when she left they started laughing and not doing their job.

Great for beginners or a quick nearby day trip to practice with new equipment. We came here to try out new equipment before taking a full weekend ski trip so this was a good day of warming up to the ski season. Book tickets in advance online with new Covid restrictions, this is helpful and if you are renting equipment there was a line in the morning. If you have your own equipment and booked tickets online it was a quick entrance.

Went tubing today with the family. It was about 30 degrees out and lightly snowing. Loved the tubing! The magic carpet is very convenient to take up the hill, and there are lanes going down to make it safe. There are two picnic tables nearby, but it would be nice to have more, maybe with heaters or fire pits like Ive seen at another tubing site. I saw one large group the brought hot chocolateand camp chairs! Oh, and theres a couple areas there you can just take a tube and do classic tubing on small hills. However, it was extremely slippery! They had a few mats down that helped, but there were not enough, and after time, they also became crusted over with ice. Everyone in our group of 6 fell at least once. And I went home with bruises on my shin and cheek. The place at the top of the hill where you get on the tubes was super slick and even the workers commented on it. One of them told me that they tried to radio down to request someone to bring salt, but no one was answering the walkie-talkie. I understand that the combination of elements can make things slippery, but thats where the facility needs to respond with mats, gravel, salt, railings, and more level ground in the walking areas.

I am very unhappy with what’s going on with Villa Olivia this year, the lift tickets are way to expensive along with the rentals. I would understand the price of the lift tickets if all the runs were open, but after 2 weeks of having the terrain park covered in snow they couldn’t even take the time to plow it after all the time they had. They even canceled their season pass program most likely so they could earn more money. Runs 5 and 6’s ropes broke 2 or more times in the past 2 days and they aren’t even figuring it out. Definitely my last visit for the season.

My boyfriend and I went to villa Olivia on a Saturday and it was super packed. They didn’t have any snowboards to rent out however Kyle came through and really helped us out. He made sure to put aside a couple of boards and boots in our size as soon as they came in and we only had to wait 30 min. He was very helpful and made our first snowboarding trip a successful one.

This is a fun ski resort with a great price. The runs are creative. The terrain park is fun when set up and they put a lot of work into the hill. They have 1 lift and the rest are rope tows. They also have an impressive tubing hill. They are keeping safe with covid protocols.

Omg this place is so expensive. Snowboarding is 55 dollars per person and they dont even give you a safety helmet. The food is also expensive and is not a very nice place. The staff is awesome though, they are the only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of 1

Course has great potential, IF they would have taken better care of it. 75+% of the Tee Boxes were burnt grass or no grass. Only 2 fairways were in "good" condition. The rest of the fairways were very dry, brown and a fair portion with dead grass. Greens were medium but had multiple bare spots on most of them. The course appears to be not watered at all - relying on nature, perhaps. We payed $52 riding on a Saturday. Course would be a good value in the low $30s (riding.)

Made reservations for 11 people with one high chair 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving. Once we arrived they had a table for 10 reserved for us. We had to have another chair/table setting squeezed in, which made it uncomfortable to eat. We had no room for the high chair to sit at the table and had to place it behind us. The service was very slow with refilling drinks or asking if we wanted more. The waitress never came back around to refill the champagne if we wanted more. Charging for soda when you are already paying $27.95 was a little frustrating. The food was so so. Service was slow in picking up the used plates forcing us to create a huge stack in the middle of an already crowded table. Once we received the bill, we asked the waitress if we can have the bill split and she replied with a quick no. Again waited for the waitress to come back to take our credit cards & we got tired of waiting so we took the payment up to the front. Asked the cashier to charge each credit card with the way we split it up, which included the tax and the already applied tip. She was very confused on how to ring up each payment without adding the tip & tax onto each payment. I told her to just put 0 since it was already included with our payment. It took 4 people to figure out how to split up the payments. This was very unorganized and not worth the $460 we spent to enjoy our day. It was quite the disappointment.

School is Out Day for my daughter and a couple of her friends. As busy as it was, they kept things organized and on track. The wait time flew by. Offered a nice junk food variety for waiting patrons. Kids were controlled and safety was very well maintained. The kids enjoyed and I was able to watch after my first ride down. Good adventure for us. Service was appropriate, pleasant and very courteous.
