I will start by saying I travel across bc for work and stay in LOTs of hotels and motels and this motel by far is the best. I have been coming to this motel for years! I’m here a minimum of twice a year and every time is great. reading some of these last negative reviews makes me shake my head. This motel is great friendly staff, clean rooms and good size rooms. the beds are incredibly comfortable the owner is by far the most accommodating and friendly. If you wish to have a microwave the option is there for a kitchenette room. AC works great, I was there in 40• weather and it works just fine! Room was nice and cool. The price is super fair. It is super quiet! I work nights and I have NEVER been woken up by noise. I will most definitely be back over and over again.

I dont typically leave reviews but felt like I had to because I had such a great experience. Sadly I cant remember his name but the man at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. He even hooked me up with a beer from his personal stash after we got chatting.The rooms are what you would expect from a good motel. Nice and clean with everything you need and nothing you dont. Nice and cool AC was perfect too.I highly recommend the Villa Motel in Nelson. Ill definitely be back next time im rolling through Nelson.

The motel has everything you need, laundry room, communal Microwave, Fridges in every rom, super nice renovated bathrooms and the rooms are very clean and cozy. It looks like its being renovated currently which is always a wonderful sign, The staff are caring and accommodating, our room always smelled so clean during our 10 day visit, after the housekeepers did their rounds, they checked in on us regularly as we practically lived there for Half a month. The owner is incredibly down to earth super chill, hilarious, and caring, checking in with us regularly as well to make sure we have everything we need. The location is great as well, just over the bridge into town (mind you everything in Nelson is close as its a tiny townright next door to an amazing Chinese food restaurant, and a 10 minute walk to the water. I cant wait to see what the finished renovation will be, as this is our go-to place to stay any time we are in town for work.
