Villa Lido - Pizzeria Trattoria in Klagenfurt

The even have wholegrain pizza base for 2,5€ extra.I’d wish in the future normal wheat base would cost extra and the healthy version is free of charge ;)I had the pizza pane (pizza brotand was amazing just with rosmarin and some good olive/chili oil…Environment and view is amazing. Staff is friendly. Prices are appropriate for the quality delivered.

I love Villa Lido since years. Always a great experience. Food is great and so are drinks. View on top of it - which is just amazing. A must do on every trip to Wörthersee. Electric boat rental after 🚤 is great. Parking is hard to find on good weather - one option is to see if there are any spots free on the Main Street above - there is a tunnel directly to the street Lido is located at.

We went to eat here when we were on vacation by recommendation of a friend. My partner ordered a pizza and me the risotto. The restaurant was very understaffed and all the waiters were rushing and not very welcoming. After 15 min we still didnt have a drink. Then first came the risotto but it took an other 10 min for the pizza to come, so we could not eat together. They told us in advance that the pizza would take 30 min, but it would make more sence if the dishes would come at the same time.Unfortunately the pizza was way too moist. Probably because of the mozzarella and tomatos, but is was litteraly dripping and not eatable. When we told the waiter he just blamed the pesto and shrug his shoulders.The fish that came with the risotto was really good. But the risotto was very salty and to raw.So all by all we did not have a nice time here..

Amazing location, very good food and it came fast considering we were eight people, the staff on point! It definitely deserves another visit.

Tasty pizza and nice location. But we booked a table 1 week ago to sit on the first line and we did not get a table 🤷🏻‍♀️ so, if you want to celebrate here something- it’s only luck to get a table. They don’t book for you, even if they say so. Pretty pity…And also my friend got pizza earlier that me in 20 minutes.. although, usually people in one table should get the same time food. I hope these 2 things can be change in the future, to be more pleasure to spend time here

Beautiful place down by the lake

The second bar at the Worthersee with really rude waiters. I do not expect much, but a little “Thank you” would be nice when you spent 4€ on a coffee.

The service was poor. When we finished our first drinks nobody asked us if we wanted another around ? Everything on the menu with a tomato sauce , I don’t recommend, because it is reused in all dishes and it is made out of a canned tomatoes paste . I ordered a pasta with schrimp, but what i got was a tomato soup with a little bit of pasta. My friend got a minestrone soup and it had the same sauce. In my pasta I found a gnocchi and in my friends gnocchi he found some fettuccine. My mom said the salad was good but how hard is it to serve a simple salad without dressing? Overall, what’s missing is love and care which any good chef will put in his creation! We didn’t have a pizza dish so I can’t comment on it. I suggest safe your money because there is a lack of quality and care.

Very nice restaurant on the lake. We went there based on a recomandation and it was a pleasant experience. The food was great and tasty and the desserts was wow. The servicing was good and prompt and nothing to complain. Make sure you book a table for dinner since they are quite busy. And this is the reason for 4 instead of 5 for rating. We were in a bit of hurry because our table were prebooked.

Location is beautiful. Directly on the lake. Unfortunately the food doesn’t do the scenery justice. Pizzas had plenty of toppings snd were extra big but tasted bland. Hamburgers look fantastic but were nothing special.

great place. we loved it here. even thou most of the tables were reserved they found for us big table for 9 quickly. all food was tasty and we did not wait too long. Pizza was great. prices are not too high so still affordable. you can pay by card. stuff speaks good english. you have nice view while eating. bonus is attached outside playground for kids. absolutely recommend for families with kids.

Great food, we had the pizzas! Service was friendly but since the place is quite busy, it sure has an impact.On a sunny day, we would recommend making a reservation, 2 days in advance, even for lunch. And make sure to sit by the water!

We went here on our last night in Klagenfurt, it had beautiful views of the lake ( if you had the right seat - make sure to book a lake view table). We were a party of 6 and had mixed reviews of the food ( I had the Carbonara - would not recommend - which is a shame for an italian restaurant). Service was also mixed, we had several waiters attending our table - which made it difficult to understand who to ask when we needed something. Overall ok - go for the views and a drink

Vegan options (humus ravioli and bruschettaare written on the menue. If you order a vegetable pizza without cheese its vegan. You can even choose Dinkel or gluten-free dough. Unfortunately they still do not have vegan cheese. A perfect view is like the cherry on the top. Take your time to have a short walk as well.Unfortunately, once in a while i get stomach ache from the food :/

Right on the lake.... super food, delicious and absolutely affordable.... we were amazed by the quality and low price! I only can advise to go there!The pizzas looked absolutely delicious btw :-)

Delicious food, good drinks and a wonderful view out on the Wörthersee lake. I had the "linguini neri con Frutti di Mare" (black linguini with seafoodand definitely recommend that. The staff is also very polite, quick and nice.

Very nice location, right at the Wörthersee. Can be quite crowded in the summer leading to slow service.Addition: Extremely slow service in the summer. Dont come hungry!I noticed that the bathrooms were very clean. Cant say whether that is always the case though..

I was quite disappointed with the service. I came in with my friends for lunch, the place was busy, so we waited for a table. The waiter asked us if we were going to drink something or eat while we were waiting. Not sure why he would ask that, because he wasnt taking our order. We told him we were going to start off with drinks. He said that if we are just going to have tap water then we cant sit here.First off, we came at lunch time...for lunch, your job isnt to make an assumption of what were going to have.Second, why is he talking to us like that?My friend told him that his tone was not appreciated, giving him a chance to take it back, which he didnt. At this point we were very upset and did not want to have lunch at this place, and went to find some other place.Its a restaurant. Even if were having tap water then they shouldnt complain as long as were paying for the service!

This was a great experience. Our group, 10 people, had a few very tasty appetizers and some great red wine with our individual choices for dinner. I ordered a pizza calzone. Outstanding!!! Fantastic crust with basil inside. The calzone was very large, very, very tasty. I would go there any time again. Service was very friendly and fast too.

Great view and location, decent menu and good price. If there would be enough staff working at this place it would be great, unfortunately without more staff they have massive lack of quality. Staff working there is great but they cant manage that much work. We have been waiting 15 min just to get the menus, we have got our food before the drinks and at the end we skipped deserts and coffe because we have been tired of waiting.

The pizza is just great, 100% italian and place near the lake has a great view. Also check the local burger, very delicious. Lovely place to take dinner or just to hang out with friends.

Great pizzas! Enough big for one person, rich with toppings. Nice atmosphere next to the Worthersee, easily reached by foot 10 min walk from Minimundus. Prices are high but suitable for this region. Grrat option after bike trip around the lake :i recommend. Bon apetit!

Enjoyed the ambience and the service, and the pizza was really good! Provided the much needed warmth on a cold, wet afternoon.

The food is great as usual.The service of our particular waitress is nice. However, she was really busy, working really hard cleaning as many table as she can. More than others.The floor isnt clean, but it is by the lake and heavy traffic, considering it is very touristy location it is very acceptable.Price is acceptable for the same reason. However, I wish to have a bit less of a wait to place our order.However, after you order the drinks ans the food come very quickly, so the kitchen is definitely not understaffed.Those two pizza chefs are working very quickly and they are very nice to my kid when she is looking and checking out how they work.All in all pleasant experience and it should deserve more than its current score of 4.2 stars. Thats the reason I gave a 5 star review, hoping to get the score up a bit. It is a 4.5 for me.

Very nice pizzeria and restaurant just by the lake with beautiful terrace. However it is more than obvious that they are heavily understaffed. From the time you order drinks and food to the time you get served it takes unfortunately ages. Even worse happens when you want to settle your bill. The older lady working on the teracce is killing herself with work however she stayed all the time very polite and professional. Sad that owners care only about the revenue and dont hire enough people to work since like that they are actually loosing thr profit because guests cant order what they want. Avoid it.

If youre on a bike trip around Woerthersee this place is perfect for a break. Located just next to the bike path (cannot miss itand by the lake. Pizza is big (really bigand tasty, highly recommended. Theres small playground for kids just next to restaurant. Staff is friendly but because the place is big they are quite busy and you need to try hard to get their attention, not a big deal though.

Funny waiter, excellent pizza and coffee, good service and price alike! Not forgetting to mention the view!

If you are eating you must go for a pizza. All non pizza options in our party were very avg. Service is quite average too but the view means it is a 4/5 option.

Italian restaurant, where the cook and even the waiters are Italians.Excellent location near the lake, with wonderful views.Large portions, very tasty risotto and pasta, as well as beer.

Villa Lido is a really fantastic place. They specialise in Italian kitchen but you can find also burgers there. The food is delicious and they have vegetarian options too. The restaurant is also worth visiting because it is located next to Wörthersee so you can enjoy the beautiful landscape from the restaurant or during a walk after dinner. The waitresses are very friendly but they have hands full of work because of the number of guests. So if you plan to go there on a weekend make sure they have some free places for you. Im happy to recommend this place :)

The linguini de mare is perfect!!! The servers are super busy but the food is very delicious and worth to try. And the location is the closest to the port.

The restaurant is wonderfully located in a small harbour and had a super warm atmosphere. The food was just great! Husband had the Lasagna and I had the carbonara. Would definitely recommend. The wait staff are prompt, friendly and speak English well. 10/10
