La vie est magnifique. L’endroit est paisibleDans un écrin de verdure. Très bien entretenu et propre ce parque Lagrange est un bijou dans la ville . Possibilité de se restaurer, écouter de la musique et se promener avec son chien. Endroit précieux.

Very honored to represent my people in such a place of importance, where President Biden met with Vladimir Putin only a few short weeks before us. The venue is amidst amazing natural beauty and the man-made part, the house, is adorned with gold and a library full of ancient books. This place is a historical and cultural treasure for Geneva. The service was 5-star and the food was superb, even accommodating my low-carb diet, with no loss of quality or artistry, in fact, the other guests around me wished they had had the same menu that I had. It was the utmost dining experience. Am experience I will never forget.

La grande et magnifique demeure qui se trouve dans le Parc de La Grange se nomme "La Villa La Grange". Des visites guidées pour découvrir lintérieur de la maison sont organisées par la Ville de Genève afin de permettre au public dadmirer la bibliothèque, les chambres et les pièces de réception. Les visites ont lieu une fois par année et il est obligatoire de sinscrire pour pouvoir y participer car le nombre de place est limité.

Amazing park, one of the best Ive visited so far. It has a view on the lake and during spring and summer its filled with flowers.Its also really beautiful in the fall, leaves of different colors all over.Finally there is space for kids to play.

An elegant piece of 18th century French architecture situated in the Parc La Grange, the estate that was originally created in 1660s by Jacques Franconis (1622-1702). Between 1768 and 1773 the present house in French style was built by Lullin family, the three sons of the banker Marc Lullin who bought the estate in 1706. In 1800 the house was acquired by the Geneva shipowner, Francois Favre, who gained his fortune in Marseille. Upon inheriting Villa La Grange Guillaume Favre redecorated two small lounge rooms in the Empire style, added an annex to extend them in 1821 and placed there his books collection that formed a large library. The books cannot be viewed on the site but at the Geneva Library at the Bastions (the one next to the old building of the Geneva University). The Villa together with the library and the park were donated to the city by William Favre (the grandson of Guillaume Favrein 1917, not long before his death. Unfortunately, the Villa La Grange is open to public only two or three times a year, usually in May each year, when public visits can be organised by application. The villa was also open during the Swiss National Day celebrations on 1 of August 2018. Hopefully, if repeated, this will add one more open day to the limited list of public visits.
