Vikings Luxury Buffet - SM Lanang Premier in Davao

I love this place. You can choose from a wide variety of foods from different places. They also have occasional promos like dining in for free on your birthday with 1 full paying adult or dining in for free on your birth month with 3 full paying adults. The foods are delicious. However, its a bit pricey for a single lunch or dinner to dine in here but I think its fun to roam around and choose the food you want to add to your meal.

Always love this place. Been like 8 times now. Now I know all the food, I realise it could be better. That said, I will continue to go as its a great fun place to take the family and all things considered its great value for money.

It was a good place. Lots and lots of food choices and most of them tastes good but the place is too crowded. Its like a carenderia but more sosyal.

If I could give ZERO stars I would.Grossest buffet in Davao. Disgusting food and the price is a joke. If the Philippines only had proper health service officers to check this place it would be closed. When I walk into a restaurant I always look at how clean the place is first. Let me tell you its gross. Mould everywhere. Bugs and cockroaches you see running around. The ovens are disgusting. Desserts are bland. The place is not full as it use to be. My gosh, how on earth this place is still going? Im saving peoples money to avoid this place. The first time It opened it was amazing and super clean.

It used to be a premier buffet choice in Davao City but as time goes by, their food and services has downgraded. Too bad because they have become more expsensive now than before but the foods are not really that impressive. Even my foreign friends would comment that the food tasted bland. Please improve more.

Make reservations a day prior because there was no availability for the same day. Reservation was confirmed. I had to make reservations online because they do not answer their phone. 30 minutes before meeting with my fiancé‘s family we get a text saying that they will not honor the reservation about 10 minutes after receiving an email confirming the reservation yet again. Still would not answer their phone. I would eat off the street before eating at this dump. Very unprofessional!

Best lunch that I ever had.

Has lots of good food than any other highly rated buffets in any other malls. Top 1. Though there was only one option for beer, everything was great.

A huge assortment of dishes to choose from. Everyone will find something to eat! Asian favourites as well as western.The carvery of beef,pork and chicken was popular as was the sushi station. I personally liked the make your own halo-halo!

A little expensive but all varieties of food are there (well mostly). Food is extremely tasty, I loved it. I think you just need to arrive early to be able to enjoy.

Staff were very accommodating! Better book a reservation since the place is always full. Worth the price! Masarap! From appetizers to desserts grabe sarap! Eww lang nung may nakita kaming maliit cockroach sa sa table namin. But overall, thank you for the good food. It was our first time but didn’t feel like it since we are very welcome.

Foods are good! Nice place to dine with your family and friends if youre looking for a cozy and elegant restaurant ( The staffs are nice too!).

This place has foods from all over the world like pizza, dim sum, sushi, etc. They even have fabulous desserts. My favorite is the egg waffle which is crunchy and sweet. The staff working here are so kind. They sing "Happy Birthday to You" and give you a special birthday cake if you visit this buffet on your birthday month. The only downside is that the price is high. But considering its a buffet, it seems reasonable.

Food is good.. and you can eat a lot of varieties of dishes. They have sweets, salads, seafoods (shrimp,tuna,salmonjuices, veggies, beef/pork/chicken, pasta. You can ask them to cook for soup or grill fish or meat. Buffet indeed..

Compared to other Vikings branch, probably some branch are better. The variety of food is also not that much compared to other branch. The grilled tuna is the best thing I had.

I hope they add some new selections in the future. Some desserts we were looking forward to were not available. And crepes were pre-made which doesnt taste the same as freshly made. The usual dishes as sumptuous just the same and the place and ambience is spacious and relaxing.

Staffs are very still welcoming and respectful. Food is still great even before the pandemic.Line is long, meaning business is coming back from the pandemic. Advantage is if you reserved before coming.PS: did you know that they have given food to health workers when the pandemic started?

I always love to celebrate my bday here with family or relatives. I always feel excited thinking about the variety of food they serve. So much palate experience and i love the ambience and their customer service. Superb. Its like a home. Sadly, pandemic has caused huge changes in their way of serving but i dont mind. This worldwide problem to covid shall pass tho. Anyway, i went there last 20th of July with so much fun.

I spent my birthday here last May 19 and Im still satisfied with the experience. It was a treat for our birthday (With my officemate with same birthdayfrom my manager. And I got served with two birthday cakes. HahahaApparently, there are these changes in place as for their servings. As for the accommodation, less people dine (as per observationunlike before. No more serenades for celebrants just birthday song on music play. On buffet, they now practice having crew/attendants for every menu. You will just ask them to serve the foods of your liking unlike before which is self-service. No beers were available due to liquor ban. But know that it is mainly for our safety. And they just implement Covid19 protocols as mandated by the government.Still, the place is good for the people having big appetite. The wide varieties of food is still its trademark. You can try any kind of food delicacies to your hearts content. The catering is so good and many people goes back here because of the good atmosphere and luxurious ambiance.

Viking buffet is one of the best buffet in this town, I understand that if it is your birthday you will get a good deal for more information please check their webpage. This is a place where you will see mostly families who invited each others to celebrate different events. Please note that you have to call earlier to setup a reservation, Usually this place is busy. And without a reservation you have to wait outside for quite a while.

Great food as always however due to covid they are lacking so much in their menu. Still love the place as you always get that premium feeling once you step in through the door

I went back to see if theyre still at the peak of serving delicious food. Went here last march 1, I didnt expect to be this disappointed. The food they served was below average. Especially the shrimp, its kinda smelly and in my opinion, it didnt taste great. The soup (not included in the picturewas very common, no offense to the chefs. Sushis 5/10 for me. The roasted lamb, lechon, and the chicken were tasteless as well without its sauce. The only thing that kept me going was their blueberry cheesecake cuts. Reason why I gave it 2 stars. Definitely not coming back here. ✌🏽

What I like about Vikings is that for less than a thousand pesos per person, plentiful food choices are available - down from Filipino to Chinese, Japanese and American offerings.Best part of it all is the friendliness of the staff and their attentiveness. I also like it when theres a birthday celebrant and they really try their best to make the person life. Even the corniest of all jokes seem to still do great tricks to make the people smile.

Love the place. Really good food serving but I am a little bit surprised that Viking sin Manila have better seafoods than in Davao considering they are nearby towns with abundant seafoods.You can go there for walk in but best to have reservation. I think their dimsum section needs improvements more. The place is inside the mall so parking is not a problem.Best to get there early as replenishing the food is not as fast like in Manila.

Serves all kinds of food! I really like how they can accomodate walk in customers. Been here thrice through walk in and there was no problem at all. Though our table seems small for buffet, it was okay. Im also glad that they can greet happy birthday without having that dance number. Some people really get shy. Overall, a great place to celebrate life! ❣️

Vikings is a complete destination for big eaters or people with big appetites. The food choices are so diverse and numerous that anybody would have a difficult decision to make when choosing his or her food. The presentation and portions are very generous. Diners can have their time enjoying from starters, main dishes, to desserts. And also the drinks are so varied , it is hard to choose which goes best with what food.The place has a cozy ambience, very relaxing even though the place is crowded and noisy all the time. Crew are attentive and alert.Its definitely worth the price you pay.

Its a great buffet dining place in SM Lanang Davao. They offer a wide selection of foods but my favorites would be the Japanese section for the tempuras and maki, and the sea food selections. The venue is not as big as the other branches. You can have your birthday celebrater here as you get a free buffet meal provided you are accompanied by a paying visitor.

We had our mothers birthday here. Food is good and a lot to choose from different cuisines. I would recommend to take some steak first before anything. Definitely will come back again.

Good ambience and options for vegans and vegetarians have increased, but I would love to see a dedicated vegetarian and vegan section. And vegan desserts on the desserts section will be appreciated, too.

Probably the most well-known restaurant in Davao. Had a chance to eat a weekend lunch here. The number of food options will make you dizzy. Food is great but Id stay away from the cold appetizers, main courses. They give you a lot of freedom to customize your food with plenty of condiments/spices/sauces to choose from wt each station. Their birthday promo gets them my five stars. 600 php (or 11.6 usdaint a bad price for the experience!

We had a great time here. We stayed here from 11:00AM to 2:00 PM for lunch for only 638 Php plus 5% service charge. They serve great choices of food and drinks plus their equally proffesional and polite staffs. The food choices ranges from Italian (pizza and pasta), Filipino, Japanese, Korean to dimsum as well fresh and tender meats as lambs, chicken and pork. Thwy also serve soft drinks, juices, wine, shake and craft beer. At the center is the table for different desserts. If you happen to eat there during your birthday, youll paid nothing plus you will receive a complimentary cake with dedication.

ProsI celebrated my birthday there so I got to eat for free as long as you have at least 1 paying adult accompanying you.The place was big. It could cater a lot of hungry people. The food selection has a wide array of choices: american, filipino, japanese, shabu-shabu, & chinese dishes. There was also salad and dessert sections.The taste of the food was all right. Some were tasty while some were not. What I like about their beverage section was that they offer "drink for the day." When we went there, it was green mango shake.ConsThe receiving staffs located at the entrance door were not as friendly as before. They should learn how to smile.It was disappointing when it was time for their staffs to greet the birthday celebrants because when they went to my table for picture-taking time, after that, THEY WERE EXPECTING AND WAITING FOR A TIP. They did not move along until we gave them a tip. Its okay to give a tip when you are giving it wholeheartedly (in the Philippines tip-giving is not mandatory). They were just there "nagpaparinig". We did not get it at first because I have had always been celebrating my birthdays there and for the previous years I did not get to experience this.Overall, I still had a great time there. I will still be going there only on my birthdays or if somebody will treat me there.

Yummyness at its best! Huge place with really very very wide food offerings mouthful tempting and super palatable spread of various menu.However, very few service staff are smiling, they do not greet at all except the receptionist. The maintenance/housekeeping staff are blocking the way while talking with each other. Kitchen staff manning the japanese section is not friendly. No soup bowl in the soup section. Steak are not tender but i must commend he acts very fast. Mirinda Rootbeer Heineken is not available😩Over all experience though is still 5stars. Hope feedback are addressed promptly.

Amazing buffet.You have such a huve variety of different kinda of food and it is really good.They make a lot of fresh things so you can also try that.They even have all you can drink with beer wich is great haha.You should definitely reserve a seat tho since you will probably have to wait quiet some time until you get a seat.

If youve been to Vikings Manila, you will be a little disappointed. There is no crab, hakaw, kare kare, no oysters too and the variety is smaller but it doesnt mean it is not satisfying.I enjoyed my stay and eat a lot of desserts actually. I love the kakanin desserts, they are really good.The tempuras breading is mucj thicker compared the one in Manila and the noodle soups are not as impressive.I love the salad station though. They have better salads than in Manila.

Theres a wide variety of food to choose from-food from different cuisines. Ambience is great and their staff are very polite and accomodating as well. Will definitely go back. 😊

The best eat-all-you-can buffet resto in Davao City offering wide variety of International and Local Cuisines. They have a very stylish and wide dining area. I really love the ambiance of this place. Service crew are friendly and efficient too.

I celebrated my birthday there last Feb 12. The experience was so nice, from start to finish I was in euphoria while dining. They gave me a cake and I have had eaten so many new food that I never tasted before. Even though the birthday song and dance was late but it was all worth it! I would recommend everyone to celebrate their birthday at Vikings. 😊And I would like to work in this place if given a chance because its my passion. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
