Viking Cottages and Apartments in Akureyri

This place is amazing. It felt like home.You have a full 2 bedroom house with all the amenities, including a jacuzzi, grill and a TV with a Netflix account. Decorations are really tasteful, and a lot of thought went into providing anything you could need.The views are also quite good, specially if you watch some movie from upstairs.The only negative I could comment is the need of a car, because its quite far away from the town. Google Maps was also a bit confused about how to get there and was telling us to go down a blocked path, but once you find it, its quite easy to go back.

Stunning modern cottage. Loved the design of every touching detail. Felt very lucky to see the full moon and the northern light while enjoying the hot tub.

Hervorragendes Cottage am Hang mit Blick über die Stadt. Sehr sauber große gut ausgestattete Küche. Kulanter, sehr freundlicher Eigentümer, da wir den ausgezeichneten Hottub vom Schnee befreien mussten war er so freundlich uns eine Flasche Wein zu schenken. Internet und Musikanlage waren exzellent. Jederzeit wieder, rundum sehr zufrieden.

Sehr schöne, stylische, saubere Unterkunft mit allem, was man so braucht. Hot pot, Waschmaschine, Saftpresse. An vieles wurde gedacht. Einzig der Fernseher lässt sich nicht als Smart TV benutzen und ist etwas älter.

Der Ausblick war super.Leider für den Preis absolut dreckig.Den Hot tub habe ich erst komplett von Haar und Dreck entfernen müssen vor der Nutzung.Die Gläser haben im Schrank geklebt und waren wie benutzt hinterlassen worden.Das war sehr ekelhaft.Auch die Dusche war komplett verkalkt und schreit nach intensiver Pflege.Man sollte hier auch mal das Geld das man verdient investieren.

Preis/Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis.Wir hatten ein Cottage und ein Appartement. Beides wird nicht sonderlich gepflegt.Der Hot Tub musste erst noch gereinigt werden. Das Geschirr solle man spülen. Dies ist ja normal in Ferienhäusern. Jedoch wird man ermahnt, dass man bei Unterlassen 50 Euro zu zahlen habe. Das Geschirr war jedoch dreckig im Schrank (siehe Foto). Die Gläser klebten im Regal fest und waren schmierig. Spülen im Cottage war zudem mühsam, da kein Pfropfen für das Spülbecken vorhanden war. Spülmaschine gibt es keine. Das Bad war stark verkalkt und dürftig gefplegt. Ohne Fenster ist ein Abzug nötig. Dieser war extrem zugestaubt. Abzug unmöglich. Immerhin war das Bett sauber. Die nicht beziehbaren Kissen haben wir jedoch vorsichtshalber nicht genutzt.Hätte am liebsten einmal durchgeputzt.Standort super. Toller Ausblick. Ausstattung ab sich auch in Ordnung. Dauerhafte und intensivere Pflege sind nötig.

Sehr schöne 2 Tage in einer der Cabins verbracht, die wirklich sehr stylisch, aber auch gemütlich eingerichtet sind. Ein absolutes Highlight auf meiner Island - Tour!

Schöne Lage, sehr gepflegt und der Betreiber reagiert vorbildlich auf Kritik werde nächstes Jahr wieder hier her kommen.

Stayed in 15A. What an awesome location for visiting the Diamond Circle. Close to Akyueri to run into town to grab gas, a meal or groceries, yet a feeling of privacy. There were other guests staying in the other two apartments but we didnt notice them other than to notice cars parked next door. The apartment was very clean. There were two bedrooms, one near the entry and one upstairs in the loft. We opted for the loft bedroom since we found that whole loft area really cozy. Very comfortable space with beautiful views. We had a bit of bad weather one day and didnt mind staying in. Excellent guide book with some suggestions on activities and dining. Be sure to enjoy the hot tub under the stars.

We, me and my husband just loved loved our 2 days stay at these apartments! They are so beautifully decorated. Warm, woody and every furniture piece goes with the theme! The sleeping place / bedroom was so cute upstairs and had a window facing the beautiful Akureyri at a distance. Whereas, downstairs your view is obstructed by trees and bushes. The hot tub was a luxury and I would say the kitchen too was equipped with modern installments. The washing machine made me really happy as I collected some laundry on our way! I had a bit difficult time dealing with the apartment temperature as it was uncomfortably warm when we got there. Had to open up windows to regulate the temperature. Overall I can safely recommend it to anyone looking forward to a comfortable homely stay near North capital of Iceland, Akureyri!

Tolles Ferien cottage.. Modern warm gemütlich.. Kleiner hotpot hinterm Haus... Einfach aber erfüllt seinen Zweck... Die Häuser die weiter oben sind gehören auch dazu und sind wohl noch etwas schöner und stilvoller...

Beautiful designed, modern and very spacious cottage. At night you get a wonderful view over the town of Akureyri either through the big windows or from the cozy hot tub.

Perfect place to stay, couldnt be better

Great apartment. Stayed here in July, 2019. You can book it through Airbnb but it is cheaper directly through their website. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. Fridge is a mini fridge, but that’s fine for a short stay. The bathroom is top notch. It has a hot tub but we didn’t use it.

Fantastic place with a Scandinavian atmosphere. Great views, great location for those who want to explore the northern part of the island. You will feel comfortable and even luxurious in this large-size cottage. A well-equipped kitchen makes you feel at home.

Amazing place with wonderful views of the bay and the entire city of Akureyri!!! The cottage is very modern and has everything you need. I loved the bathroom, it was so tranquil and the rainfall shower was the best. We also used their hot tub which was very easy to operate. Definitely staying here when I visit Iceland again.

Établissement assez bien situé, le confort est plutot moyen-bon on s attendait à mieux, nous navons pas vue les propriétaires, la propreté pourrait aussi etre meilleures en général par exemple au niveau cuisine les ustensiles de cuisine devrait être plus propre, nous étions dans le petit cottage à coté des autres plus grand, je réfléchirais à 2 x ci on devait retourner à ce cottage, ci je repasserais par la. Malgré les critiques, nous avons quand même passé un bon moment et nous avons quand même pus faire un peu de cuisine et du café bien chaud.

Beautiful place! The view was stunning and my family and I sat in the hot tub and watched the northern lights at night. The apartment was cozy and updated, and it provided everything we needed. The price is also very affordable. I definitely recommend it.

La residenza è molto bella sia esternamente sia internamente, con un arredamento eccezionale. La posizione è ottima in quanto si può avere una vista mozzafiato della città di Akureyri. Entusiasmante è vedere laurora boreale mentre si è nella jacuzzi sul terrazzo fuori a fare un piacevole bagno di acqua calda.

Einfach nur super! Egal ob die besonders (gehobeneAusstattung, der Blick am Abend auf die leuchtenden Lichter Akureyris aus dem Hot-Top oder die sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre der Wohnung, es war ein Erlebnis für die Sinne. Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Cabañas con jacuzzi exterior a 10 min de Akureyry. Es complicado llegar, un pequeño letrero en el cruce de entrada facilitaría la llegada. La decoración y acabados está muy bien pero vi deficiente un sistema de extracción para la cocina y las escaleras de acceso a la parte superior son muy empinadas. El entorno y las vistas son de impresión

Well designed, well equipped, beautiful view

Un sitio con un encanto especial. La casa tiene todo tipo de detalles, todo está cuidado, altavoz para conectar música, smart Tv, velas, vino..........decorada con mucho gusto. Darse un baño en el jacuzzi de la terraza a menos 5 grados es una verdadera maravilla. Un sitio con magia.

Fanatic little cottage. Stayed two nights, wish it were more. Had full amenities - 2 bedrooms, hot tub, washer and dryer, tv (ours had two dvds, it was nice watching Vacation while on vacation). The floors on the main floor are heated, which could leave the upstairs a bit cool. The view was also very good. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Comfortable accommodations. Great view of Akureyri and only 10 minutes away. Full kitchen plus a grill makes meals easy. Washer/dryer is great for longer stays. Highly recommend.

Super Lage am Steilhang mit Blick auf Akureyri. Besonders im Dunkeln ein Augenschmaus! Das Cottage ist sehr sauber , modern eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet, wenn man mehrere Tage hier verbringen möchte. Unglaublich gemütlich!
