Vietopia in Harrisonburg

Excellent food and prompt service. If you get there early enough get whatever their special is. It never disappoints. Oh and those sesame balls...

Vietopia is my favorite place to get pho in Harrisonburg, but don’t sleep on their other dishes either. The BBQ Pork is fantastic in the spring roll or on one of the rice or noodle dishes. Ordering to go is easy and everything is packaged nicely! I’d you’re looking for a better at home pho experience, try boiling the broth when you get it home! If you’re looking to branch out, their weekend specials are also very good. And if you’re looking for something sweet, the boba smoothies are great!

Super balanced broth. Best wait staff. Get the duck soup special if it ever pops up on the weekends.

Dont judge a book by its cover! The food and service here is fantastic! The servings are also quite generous. Yum!

Really loved the pho! Great broth and quick service. I also love that the tables have little sauce dishes that you can use. Its a nice touch since I usually ask for that.Edit: tried the iced Vietnamese coffee and it was tasty. Bonus points for the extra buzz to help me power through the work day!

Excellent choice for a delicious and affordable dinner! We stopped here after our fishing trip and wanted something easy on the stomach. We ended up having a great time! The owner was very hospital. The service was good. I like that the staff did not interrupt us every five seconds asking if everything was ok like some other places. I love my beef noodles. And my husband declared his stir fried noodles were the best he had had in recent years. The meat quality was excellent. Thin cut, soft and flavorful. In fact, it was so good we ended up inquiring about it. The owner mentioned he had a trusted supplier to ensure reliable quality.

I cant even begin to express how much I love Vietopia! The added picture is the only one I have from here, even though Ive come so many times, because Im just that focused on eating. The food always comes out in less than five minutes, and sometimes it feels like its mere seconds after ordering!! If I could call a restaurant home, it would be this one. Five stars is nowhere near enough for Vietopia. Thank you so much for being the place my girlfriend and I can always agree on when we dont know what to have, and the place we constantly crave when we havent been in over a week!

You need to visit this spot “Pho sure” (LOL! I couldn’t resist 😆All kidding aside, this is great pho. We got a huge bowl of delicious beef pho with fresh vegetables and aromatics of basil and lime - excellent broth and noodles. I spent $14+. It seems family run and the cashier was very kind and helpful in helping me choose my order. The establishment was very clean. I highly recommend “Pho-tastic” spot!

BEST. PHO. This is the best pho I’ve ever had anywhere. The owners are so friendly and fast. If you’ve never been or you’re unsure of what to order I recommend K1 for an appetizer (light and crispy/flakey egg rollsand A2 for pho. This hits the spot every time.10/10 recommend Vietopia.

Wow! Incredible service very clean table with lots of tidily kept sauces. The peanut sauce was to die for! Delicious veg options and yummy meat options too. Really great value for the price. We also got bubble smoothies with real avocado. 100% would recommend

The steak pho was delicious, and the coconut smoothie was amazing. Despite me showing up shortly before closing, the owner and staff took really good care of me. I will keep going back!

This place deserves a five star rating. I had the Vietnamese beef stew and pork spring rolls they were piping hot and excellent .

Authentic. This restaurant is way better than the other one nearby. Clean, fast service and big portion.

Wonderful food, still fairly priced and great costumer service. Fast, friendly and absolutely delicious! I recommend the pork banh mi for lunch and any of the pho for dinner.

They cover all the bases, Pho, Vermicelli, Bahn Mi, Bubble Tea. The food is excellent. It’s in the corner of a strip mall and that is usually how family owned restaurants are, and usually are hidden little gems like this one.

Chicken wings was deep fried so it’s super dry.Spring roll’s skin was really chewy but inside was fresh and peanut sauce is great.Combination pho was the best on the table. Loved the soup and beef tripe!

It was my first time in years eating Vietnamese cuisine, and it was delicious. The serving size was generous and I thought I would not be able to finish, but I ate every last bit! I cannot wait to eat here again.

Very good grilled pork roll with very savory dipping sauce. Would like more meat and less lettuce inside. Pho Special was good but missing tripes and tendons, mentioned in description. Friendly staff. Fairly busy when we arrived but got a table almost right away. Good came quickly as well. Well try other dishes thats offered only on weekends.

I’ve tried every pho broth in Harrisonburg and they have the best. Great flavor, not bland, lightly sweet. Extremely fast service as well.

Great spot for lunch or dinner! Boba tea is a better "reward" for running errands in town than any fancy chain coffee shop, and their Pho selection is unbeatable. Crispy chicken wings, spring rolls... mmm!

This is the best pho I have ever had. The place was packed with good reason as this restaurant seems to have grown a reputation for great Vietnamese cuisine. The flavors I tasted in my pho were just the perfect balance of spice and meat. Definitely coming back here.

my favorite restaurant. i’ve been going here for years and as of recent i’ve had to stop by weekly to get their pho tai chin. the flavor is very rich and their broth is definitely the best out of all the other local pho places. they always have food prepared very quick and the service is always stellar. i love vietopia!

Vietopia was a great find. I had the fried wing appetizer and seafood pho for my main meal. Both were delicious. If youre looking for good Vietnamese food, this is the place.

MY GOD was this a waste of my money. The pho there is terrible, it taste just like water. The base of the soup was oily. The tofu was probably the best thing in that pho if im gonna be completely honest. This is all i got to say never coming again. Thank you for your service.

Vietopia is a wonderful little restaurant, serving authentic and delicious Vietnamese food. The Pho is simply wondrous! The owner and staff are very attentive, the prices are extremely reasonable. I get there weekly if I can.

Ive had pho in quite a few other Vietnamese restaurants, but nothing compares to Vietopia. They are genuinely authentic and delicious. An absolute gem hidden in this little shopping center, I frequent this place whenever given then chance, and you should too!

Friendly place and fast service, very clean, but the pho was just okay. Got the vegetarian pho and it was a bit oily and the friend tofu and fried ball in it were not really the right texture for pho. The mushrooms were hard and too large should be sliced thinner, as well as the brussel sprouts and carrots. They used chunks instead of thin slices like traditional pho, and it was lacking some of the more complex spices that make the warming flavor profile. Wouldnt go out of my way for it, although I hear its the best pho in harrisonburg, but just doesnt compare to pho3pho in charlottesville or phubs pho in Hanover MD. Maybe try some of their other dishes or sandwiches.

My wife and I just had dinner here and it was wonderful! Shes never had Vietnamese food, and its only the second time for me. We loved the food and were very impressed with the high level of friendly, helpful and efficient service. Our server was super--patiently explaining the various dishes to us and the proper way to eat them. WELL BE BACK FOR MORE!!!

I am amazed that this place is jot rated a solid 5 star establishment. The Pho here is so incredibly good ,the service is stellar and it is clean and welcoming....Thank you for an amazing meal that tasted better than any of the Pho I have had in the past.....Which is a LOT. I eat Pho across the country. You guys are hand down the very best.

OMG! I had to get my Pho fix on while on vacation and I was not disappointed! I ordered take out and everything was in the bag including the chopsticks and a lime wedge. I definitely will be back when Im in the area.Polite, courteous staff, clean, well lit establishment.

This place is authentic and they have pho ga on a chicken broth base. I will be back again because their food is very reasonable

Love it!! The portion of the Vietopia special is very filling. The broth is what makes Pho, and it is GREAT.
