Vienna Beef Factory Store & Cafe - Hot dog restaurant in Chicago, United States
It used to be my go to place not anymore they just jacked up the prices, not a working mans restaurant π
Love it.
Good fast foodI had the daily special, the Chicago styled hot dogs with all the dressings/condiments was very tasty & delicious
Been a customer for years. The staff is always helpful. You can buy boxes of Polish, hamburgers, hot dogs, Italian beef. Their restaurant is serving Viennas products made the way they should be. Go and check it out!
Hot dogs themselves were pretty decent. They have a lot of cool stuff on sale inside 10$ shirts, to boxes of dogs, gallon tube of mustard etc
Hotdogs were very good service was great wide selection of sandwichs
Hi.They need to be more kind. Other than that important issue, their food is good. ππ
$6.00 dollars for 1 hot dog. The dam thing was made across the street. You can purchase (2packages with 8 hot dogs in each for that price.
Ugh...came out spending $$$. Love anything Vienna!
I ordered two hot dogs with fries and a pop. I ate it there and the experience made my day.Besides sitting outside on a nice day, I ate the food. The natural casing hot dogs are "out-of-this-world" good. The casings adds so much to the joy of eating these magnificent, tasty dogs.Their servers are so nice and fast that I loved tipping them. I had to drive across town to get there. It was well worth! Oh, I also bought enough frankfurters to store in my freezer and treat many others. Why dont they sell the natural casing frankfurters in retail stores?
The service wss excellent. Cornbeef o kiaser roll delicious.
Good deals on food both for home and lunch specials. Their staff is above and beyond friendly, quick, and all over just a place to go.
Wednesday they have the Double Cheeseburger meal for $9.99 Thursdays is the Half lb Footlong hotdog that is a must try. I should have taken a pic of that lol.
They have the best beef sandwiches polishages in Chicago
The food is fine but too pricey.
Great food Great service no complaints period I love this spot
Do not ever call in for pickup they are very bad taking in your order for pickup I called in to try to make an order I was asked to hold on and I started driving to the restaurant I will I got to the restaurant I order my food I was giving my food and I drove away in 35 minutes later I got tired and I finally hung up the phone they never got back on the phone good food but really bad phone service
Iβm a Chicago native, and my favorite piece of art I needed for my apartment was the Vienna dog on Navy Pier. A huge shoutout to Morgan, a staff member, who was so kind, positive and helpful. She made my experience 10x better than I thought it would be due to her being overall fantastic. I canβt wait to be back in the area to see her and buy some dogs!!
Awesome hot dogs. We bought a 10lbs box of natural casing dogs, box of burgers and a salami, all well worth the money. Definitely will be back, even though its a long drive from the Illinois/Wisconsin border it is well worth it!!!
This new location is not as accommodating as the old one. Tighter space, traffic is bad. I was still able to get my order but not as convenient as the old location.
I like this place its definitely different, especially when you want something different to eat, they have daily specials you can only get on that day and cannot get in other day?? I had a tast for something that I could not get because it was ONLY FOR a Pacific day special . That I couldnt understand
The food was hot and tasty. The service was prompt and friendly. The place was very clean. I will eat here again.
Nice place to get a quiet bit and friendly people to sever you i give it a thumbs π up
You know Ive been here many a times and The Corned Beef is delicious but the bread was just a little bit too thick for me but always good I just dont do bred like that but the service is fantastic they make you smile make you want to buy more
Iβve been enjoying the local fare during my 2 month visit to Chicago. While I can do WITHOUT the cold, I AM fully enjoying the food.First, Iβm not really into hot dogs. When I learned about how Vienna Beef is different than regular hot dogs, I was inspired to give it a try.I got the Chicago style Thursday Special! Itβs delicious and Iβm glad I got to enjoy one first hand. Definitely lives up to all the buzz!ππ
Love this place but 10.99 for a hot dog special now?! (2 regular hot dogs, fries and a drink). Wont be back for that. Thats crazyπ
Totally satisfyingπ₯π€. Chi~town is already known for having some of the best restaurants and when it comes to italian beefs..lip smackin, finger lickin gooooood!! To excite my belly even more, for the first time I ate at the official Vienna Beef restaurant and all I can say is anybody and everybody living in or visiting the Chi should eat here at least once and make it kind of a tradition considering this is the authentic Vienna spot. I dont care for the fries but that italian beef hit the spotπ£π―.
Iβve been driving by this place for years and finally decided to go in. This place is a gem π in Chicago. The service was amazing. They were very friendly and helpful. They gave me a lot of options and specials that were not even on the menu. The food was great! I ordered the 2 hotdog special and they let me know that they had a jumbo hotdog special that day. So I got upgraded instantly. At the end too, they gave me a 4 lbs bag of chili for free! Iβm definitely going back soon!
I really like this place, but one thing that made me upset is that I wanted a A philly cheese steak sandwich, and they told me that I can only get that on a certain day ? I was lost . Who does that any sandwich should be available any day of the week ?
I stop in a few times a month for lunch.Usually get the Monday Ruben special $10 includes a huge sandwich and fry plus ,canned soft drink.Always fresh, hot and delicious!!Never a disappointment.
I am a truck driver. I used to park in the back of the BP- and come inside to grab a bit of lunch on my Chicago runs before the BP got a hair across his a** about that. With that in mind, I loved this place, itβs food, itβs staff, offerings. Iβm really gonna miss it.
Love this place. If you want a nice, quality Vienna Beef hot dog, might as well go straight to the source. Sometimes, they even add freebies to orders.
Great place. Simple menu, just Vienna; you cant go wrong. Hours are 9-5, closed Sunday. I liked the corn beef and of course the Chicago hot dog. They also sell all the good stuff to take home and cook, by package or case.
I cannot speak o. The food or service cause once I seen the prices I walked out. $10 for 2 hot dogs without fries or a drink. $50 for 20 quarter pound burgers frozen. No thanks . I will make my own.
Great food. Literally Everything Vienna has to offer! Very fast service. Parking gets challenging at times but its a quick in and out
I didnt know they were located there, but Im glad they are. They closed down the one on N. Elston/Damen location in Chicago. And it was really nice of them to give me and my friend a bag of free real beef jerky.Every customer got a free bag of beef jerky when they ordered their food. Nice! And most definitely appreciated.
No explanation. Best Chicago dog around.Everything is great here. Place is clean. They have a small grocery section to buy in bulk. Always consistent.
Yum. The corned beef was so good. We were back in Chicago and wanted a beef sandwich. We were shocked at the reviews and prices of the typical corned beef places. With Vienna we normally get the dogs and polishes but tried the corned beef. Outstanding. Oh and while we were there we picked up loads of dogs, relish and giardinara to take home.
Really good hotdogs and Mr browns soda was delicious. Never seen that pop before. I also got free soup. Will definitely go again.
We bought a 3lb. of pastrami for like 20.00 bucks and cut it ourselves on our deli cutter and man was it wonderful. We made our own Ruben sandwiches. They also have Roast beef too by the pound. They will give you the au ju for the beef. The hot dogs are Chicagos best. They have Polishs. You have to check this place out. Especially if you are going to have a cookout. You are going to flip out. You have to check it out, please the fries are awesome and of course the hot dogs are Vienna.
We used to go to the store on Damen but times change and businesses have to move with it.So we called ahead to the Morgan Street location and they had what we needed... 15 lbs of Italian Beef. They were fantastic, helping us get the beef, gravy, and some other things. Went with us to the checkout and made sure everything was entered correctly. Couldnt ask for any better service from very friendly people.Yes, its a bit out of the way, but well be back! Thanks!
You cannot buy the natural casing Hot Dogs that they serve at almost any Hot Dog stand in any store. If you want the real thing, this is the only place to get them. They are sold by the pound so you can get as much, or as little as you like. They also sell all other Vienna products as well.
Service was great and the food was awesome. I love the little set-up. I often frequented the one on Clybourn often and was sad to hear it closed down. Glad they are now closer to home. The food actually taste better at the new location and the specials are reasonably priced.
Quick, friendly service. We got a couple of hot dog specials (2 dogs each with fries & coke), Chicago style ... and they were delicious ($18 ish total)
Great outlet store. They make great sandwiches their products they sell to take home to cook are all top shelf and the associates are really helpful. The prices are fantastic you cant beat this place. This is a 10 star business
Ive been here several times and I always get the turkey pastrami. The food is great the service has been great too until today when I ordered just fries and cheese and the lady who handles the money literally stopped ringing and went to prepare my food. Didnt walk away to wash her hands or grab some gloves even. ADMIST A PANDEMIC !!! Very disappointed dont think Ill return Im sure I can find a good turkey pastrami somewhere cleaner.
Im a customer from the previous store on Damen. This place is a dump compared to the old one. Very small, you cant see the meat youre purchasing like the deli sliced corn beef. A real step down. I know there employees didnt have in put in nothing. The parking area hardly exist. I saw one handicap spot where I parked. Very disappointed they could have done better. The new neighbors like it probably because they dont know any better. I really feel bad for the employees unless they have eating accommodations inside.
Vienna hot dogs are the king of hot dogs. So they are definitely overpriced because they are the best hot dog. Place was busy little parking
First time in Chicago, love their hot dogs when i come back again I sure will go there again.
Hidden gem tucked away right off of 39th and Morgan. Cant go wrong with the 2 hot dog special, but the sandwiches are incredible. A meal here fills you up, and you can purchase up everything you need to make your own stuff at home. They sell all the meats (hot dogs, polish sausages, spicy sausage, etc). Grabbed some to take put of town for a bbq...everyone loved the smoked sausage. Indoor and outdoor seating. Want a Chicago style hot dog done right? This is the spot.
