Victory Park in Gavarr

Historical place of World War 2.

Top of Yervan. Can see city view from there also mountain range in diatance.

Attraction park is damn old, Im not sure its very safe to use some of the attractions there. But its very calm in the park, it feels like time has stopped.The statue is impressive.

The view from the top its nice..if you are lucky you can see mount Ararat

Mother Armenias statute is there, this is the Statue of liberty of Armenia. It shows the power of Armenias women that have been supporting the men in the survival of Armenia all the time.

not bat ,The statue of Mam of Armenia is there and it is one of the highest points of Yerevan

A lively place for a walk. Lots of families enjoying the funfair. Immense views of Ararat. The Mother Armenia statue is a particular highlight.

Here you can see the view of Yerevan City. The park is full of riders & fun .one of the attraction is Mother Armenia statue .A museum is available where you can know history of Armenia.

Return to Soviet times. Everything is still working and the people are very kind. The park is beautiful. Attractions at least 25 years old.

The Victory park complex has numerous alleys, a picturesque pond, cafes and various amusements and rides. From the park there is a panoramic view to the downtown Yerevan.In the park you will see the samples of military vehicles. Also there is the military museum of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

This is where you can find the Mother Armenia monument. It also include a military museum dedicated to the victory of Soviet Armenia in WWII.

Enjoy a panoramic view of the city and admire a symbol of Armenia at Victory Park and Statue of Mother Armenia, a green area overlooking Yerevan. The monumental, 51 m (167 ftmetal figure of a sword-bearing woman stands on a huge basalt pedestal resembling a three-nave Armenian basilica.

Great location, POOR maintenance. If there was only a good management or this park, it could easily be a great tourist attraction for the city. Beautiful views over the city and tall trees everywhere. However, it gets super unsafe during the dark hours. So many drunks during the night.

nice old style park

Its a bit of a hike to get there but worth the effort. With a rusty old amusement park, Mig fighter and T34 tank near the main statue it looks like a classic Soviet park.

Looking over Yerevan from the very top :)A nice and spacious area permitting to admire views over Yerevan at any time of the day but without any specificity except this fundamental monument to the nations mother.The place requires some restoration and regular cleaning activities since its absence is, unfortunately, evident.Yes, there is some park with old era attractions close to that but they seem to be of interest just for those with Soviet Union nostalgia since they are too outdated.If you have enough spare time you could visit it as one more reference point on your route.

The park is fine, but very outdated. It desperately needs a reconstruction. Definitely not good enough for an amusement park in the centre of a capital city.

Nice park. Bit noisy. I think there is some event or its a historically relevant day today. Many military personnel walking around and portraits of soldiers mounted up here. Or thats just Armenia, military aint got much else to do.

Really cool park with very old style rides

It is nice but for me, since I visited in winter, was not so amazing. The amusement part was close and I can say there was almost nobody else me & my friend. I suggest to visit it in soring or summer.

The park is quite big and theres this war museum inside which you could visit free of charge and it is worth a visit. But its all poorly maintained. Its a lonely place so you might enjoy it if youd like to take a walk away from city noise but thats about it. And theres this view point overlooking Yerevan.

If you want to see Yerevan and Ararat from above, this is your place! It is a calm park, but if you want to have fun there are many attractions as well. The (artificiallake is like an oasis for the water-lovers, and you can rent a boat as well. The “Mother Armenia” statue is waiting for you at the end of the park with all her glory. If you ride the ferris wheel, you’ll have a different perspective of her as well. Overall, the park and the attractions may seem old school, and sometimes deserted, but it is a place that everyone should see when visiting Yerevan.

Really enjoyed it - happened to be there on the big Armenian celebration - 100 years of the First Armenian Republic. Great entertainment park, astonishing Mother Armenia statue, nice cafes.

Victory park is a great place to visit if you are on a leisure trip to Yeravan. The place is very scenic that you get to take great photos with the city of Yeravan in the background. The long walk way into the forest, the statue and old military equipments are nice.

Great place to walk around, enjoy the live music on the stage and have a drink or a snack. Many rides are available for the kids too.

Attraction park with historical segments. Just entering, go left and you will reach attraction part, go right and there will be tree path with high view of a city and at the end uou will reach Mother Armenia statue and Military museum

Only go there if its not too crowded. I always skip the theme park section.. chill out at the lake or go enjoy the views from the footsteps of the giant Mother Armenia statue.
