Очень красивое и торжественное место. Монумент Победы очень вписывается в ансамбль архитектуры проспекта независимости, он же сталинский. Вид сверху завораживает своим пафосом. Одно из мест Минска, которые стоит посетить обязательно. Фото ниже

В 1954 году в центре Минска на Площади Победы был возведен обелиск памяти советских солдат, погибших во время Второй Мировой войны. Возле монумента установлен вечный огоньС четырех сторон у основания 40-метрового Монумента Победы расположены горельефы с изображением сцен военного периода. Это самое яркое место, посвященное тематике ВОВ. Думаю, что более эпичного места у нас в городе и не существует.

The cities of Belarus are covered in massive monuments and statues. The problem is you dont know, nor can you find information on many of them. Are they Belarusian monuments are former U.S.S.R. monuments. This one has an eternal flame and large wreaths located in a roundabout.

Striking monument to the Great Patriotic War and the defeat of the Nazis. Access via subway to avoid the ever entertaining Minsk drivers (I witnessed a spectacular crash while admiring the monument).Some impressive engravings surround it, with an eternal flame burning in front. Pop down into the subway to see the Victory murals and artworks.

Very nice historical monument to visit. Make sure if you have the opportunity visit in the daytime as well as the evening. If youre wondering how to get up close to the monument they have passages leading under the streets so you can get into the actual square. You definitely dont want to try and cross the busy roadways surrounding the landmark. Make sure to also see the dedication to the Fallen Soldiers below the monument in the pathways. Cool monument

Монумент очень красивый, так же в подзесном переходе вы можете увидеть необычную инсталляцию со стихами на стене.С каждой стороны монумента шикарные скульптуры, приятно было посетить это место, вспомнить тех кто пал защищая родину и какой кровавой ценой досталась СССР победа.Расстроили венки - они ржавые. За это должно быть властям стыдно.

Ein grandioser Platz. Der Obelisk tagt 38 Meter in die Höhe und überragt alles, so dass man dieses schöne Denkmal von weitem sieht.Davor lodert ein ewiges Feuer.Das Victory Monument liegt direkt an der Metro...also gut zu erreichen.

Very impressive location in Minsk, especially at night when illuminated. Excellent monument to Second World War / Great Patriotic War. Some much smaller monuments to the Hero Cities of the Soviet Union also in the square.

_красивая площадь, у обелиска есть «Вечный огонь», интересная наземная и подземная архитектура, достаточно просторно и монументально одновременно. Место нравится иностранцам, особенно кто ценит архитектуру времён существования Союза Советских Социалистических Республик.

Всегда прохожу мимо и осознаю достижения нашего народа в победе велико, как этот монумент. Красивый, великий памятник.

It is a proud of our city and country. This place symbolizes the victory in the Great Patriotic War. When you are here, you feel how goosebumps run over the body.

Una grande piazza con un obelisco al centro molto alto, ben curato e con molti particolari che meritano di essere ammirati, inoltre vi è una fiamma perennemente accesa in ricordo delle vittime della guerra.Intorno alla piazza posso dire che è tutto ben curato, pulito ed ordinato.Di negativo posso dire che, nelle ore di punta, molte auto, bus e camion attraversano la piazza.

Cool place. Not a lot to do, but historical and patriotic. They did a very good job with this monument, especially the underground. You should definitely come and visit. And a plus? Its right next to Gorky Park.

Victory square - commemoration of the 2nd World War. The central monument depicts a scene of the victory with bronze sword in the foundation. Granite blocks on the square represent Hero Cities.Under the square there is a Memory Hall. Names of the Heroes of the Soviet union, who died during the liberation of Belarusian territory, are placed on the walls.The square is surrounded by houses. They are notable for bricks of Pavlov house from Stalingrad, which were placed in the foundations. As well as neo-classical architecture. Interesting fact: Harvey Oswald lived in the left house.

Get there just before noon so you can see the changing of the guard. At night the eternal flame is quite big.
