Victoria Point Champaign IL Apartments in Urbana

I live at the Refinery building, and overall, I have enjoyed living at the building. I find that the rental fee is economical for what is offered: secured access into building and included gym membership with lease at the Refinery Gym (which is also a great gym that offers group classes included with the lease). The weekends that events are hosted on the first floor can be challenging to some, however, I dont find it too much of a disturbance since I live on the third floor.Katie, the leasing manager, has been easy to work with. If I have some questions, she is willing to communicate with me via email, text, or even in-person if that is easier. If there is a large upcoming event, she will always make sure to communicate that with residents. I also had several questions when I moved in two years ago and she made sure all my needs were met, including various in-unit touch-ups. Maintenance has also been great. Ive never had an issue where maintenance took longer than 2 days to address the issue.

Have had a great experience in one of the 2-bedroom, high-ceiling units. It is very spacious. Katie, the manager, has been very nice.

A nice facility and very close to I-72, I-74 and I-57. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood, and a short walk from one of Champaigns bigger parks. The leasing agent, Katie Ponton, communicates really well, and she is very efficient.

Its a very nice apartment. Management response very fast for all the maintannent requests. Its a very nice place to live!!

!!!Do not live in Refinery building!!!The worse apartment I have ever lived in Champaign in my life.1. The manager ask for early moved in but the cleaning is not done( maintenance never come again to clean, I clean the mess and carpet by myself)2. The manager only answer the questions that she wants to.3. Hidden the facts about the balcony is shared(please be careful)4. Forcing tenant to sign the noise waiver (this is illegal!!! I’ve ask attorney. Please do not sign the document)which the Refinery event on first floor will have event on almost every SATURDAY ( the whole building is shaking at night time, cannot go to sleep)5. The unit does not have garbage disposal!!!!!! But on their official website they claimed the unit included disposal.6. I try to negotiate with them to solve the problem of noise, but the option they gave is asked me to move out. Did I do something wrong? Why is me suffering the noise and moving? All they need to do just talk to the event guys, buy some sound proof or sound absorb materials. I don’t understand how hard it’s that.I just want people who are looking for a rental place, DO NOT CONSIDER REFINERY BUILDING!!!!!!!

It is a nice place to stay. Spacious and fully furnished apartments in a nice locality with very reasonable pricing. Excellent maintenance services were provided even during the peak of the pandemic. Also provides free membership at the refinery gym for one per household.

Great place.

Not enough parking for Refinery Building tenants! 22 units and only 8 parking spots, everything else is reserved for Refinery Gym and Events!Management keeps sending threats to tow our cars. Where are we supposed to park?!This has been a constant battle for the past 5 years! The tenants are always put aside for the benefit of the Refiny Gym and events, and we dont even have free gym pass!

Victoria Point has been great for us! The apartment offers great amenities and we love having a gym downstairs! Katie is always very accommodating and does a wonderful job managing the place. Maintenance requests are answered quickly and we never had any issues with our unit.

*read in entirety* Horrible management. The apartment was disgusting upon arrival. We moved into our apartment and the kitchen was covered in grease floor to ceiling from the previous tenant. Black sooty handprints all over the walls. Doors falling off hinges. Dryer vent not hooked up and massive amounts of lint in the vent. Major fire hazard. Light bulbs were missing from almost every fixture. Sink was clogged the day we moved in, and maintenance took three days to respond at all. When they did finally show up, they left a humongous mess of sludge all over the floors. The kick plate for the deadbolt had been broken as if the door had been kicked in, and the door did not latch or lock. After three attempts to get it replaced, maintenance simply turned the kick plate over. Due to COVID, myself and the other tenant had to evacuate 4 months early. We attempted to break the lease, which we were unable to do (understandable). We later get a notification from the water company that there is a leak in our apartment and our bill has gone over $200 (we usually ran $30-40 per month). We called at least a dozen times to see if someone could check on the unit as neither of us were able to drive the 2 hrs and take off work. NOBODY DID ANYTHING FOR FIVE DAYS. THE WATER BILL SOARED OVER $800. The property manager had been notified several times that we were vacating the unit and when asked for move out instructions, they were sent to us two months after returning the keys. They now have the audacity to charge a cleaning fee for an apartment I scrubbed top to bottom and was cleaner when I left than when I moved in.Property manager is never in the office when she is supposed to be, does not respond to any correspondence in a timely manner.

Best apartment ever!!! Very quiet and clean! I had zero complaints living here.

We lived at Victoria Point for a year, and it was awesome! Washer and drier in unit, brand new appliances, and the apartment was very spacious. My wife and I couldn’t even hear each other talking from opposite ends of the apartment.We had a few maintenance requests, and they always followed through either the same day or the next and always fixed the issue.Katie, the property manager, is super friendly, very accommodating, and constantly communicates with her tenants. I loved getting a text reminding me of upcoming events, inspections, or other activities. She always went above and beyond!Would definitely live here again. One of the nicest apartments in the Champaign area!

I have lived in these apartments for a couple years, its a great location and a great price. Katie the property manager is very friendly and accommodating and really goes above to ensure retention of tenants, where a lot of properties manager just see you as here one year gone the next type. Katie and victoria point really do want to keep you happy . also maintenance is very quick and responsive.

Gorgeous, spacious apartments for young professionals. Appliances are modern and location is very convenient to local shopping, a high-quality gym, and the UIUC campus. Leasing agents (in my experiencehave been friendly and accommodating.

Victoria Point is a great place to live. The location is great, the apartments are nice and well kept and the staff are especially helpful.

Stayed here for a year or so, it was a temporary situation and it worked out great! Dont really have any complaints with this company, being that I have stayed at multiple of their locations. Any maintenance issue was resolved in a reasonable manner, they were always kind and professional, and I would love to stay with them again!
