Be aware that there is loud construction going on in the hotel. Hence, the pool area is barely usable as of dust, noise and construction crew walking around. Also it is quite noisy in the rooms due to the construction. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax go somewhere else! Also, female travelers do not use the bathroom next to reception. I had the unfortunate incident of construction people looking through the window…Breakfast is good. The rooms are spacious and clean but a little outdated.

Out of town means it is quiet but not convenient. However 25% of the price of Ryans Bay just down the road so if you want just an overnight bed it is fine. Excellent breakfast included in the 75000TZS tariff

Victoria Palace Hotel is the beautiful place specifically for the one who want to enjoy thats why it has a good food and drinks bevarage. Also is the good place for resting at night as well as for meeting conference.

Excellent place to stay in Mwanza. Reception staff are well trained for their job. Very professional and cooperative. Manager Phileman is highly professional and polite person.They should have some different varieties in their breakfast for their European and North American guests.Their rooms are petty big and very well maintained. Room service is great. I look forward to stay at the same Victoria Palace hotel.

Great place. The AC are a bit noice, have to be placed a bit far from the window to cancel the noice.

This place is amazing. The staff are the best I ever encountered in the hotel industry. Humble and swift in carrying out their duties and willing to go out of their way to assist. Food is so so delicious and satisfying.The price is very friendly and the environment so cool and tranquil. Simply lovely.

Clean decent hotel in secured location of Mwanza town called capri point. The rooms are clean and you will get hot water in the showers. The breakfast provided is buffet style with mostly african set menu and an egg counter. The restaurant however is the weakest point as it has average meal provide.

My stay was calm and relaxing. I personally enjoyed the stay and I will be visiting the hotel again cause I think it is the best you can find in Mwanza city.

Nice Hotel in Mwanza situated near Bugando Hospital, its a handy place if you want to stay near city centre and still receive great services

Its a nice place. All the can do to improve is to remove/replace the carpets in corridors

it wasnt my intention to visit this place in the first place but our flights got cancelled and there I was, it is a nice hotel with big spacious room and a lovely Mwanza view from the windows, the food is fantastic and good customer service from the hotel employees, definitely I would visit next time if I will be looking for a weekend gateway...And there is not alcohol, dont know if everything apart from soft drink was out of stock or else.

The manager Philemon is an excellent host. The general staff is very amicable. I came all the way from Texas, and received a very welcoming stay. I definitely recommend!

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the food and the staff members. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with three six year olds and lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in three weeks period during our visit in Mwanza.My two six year olds loved the swimming pool and the great view. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

The hotel is located in a serene area of town. The rooms are huge. There is an elevator. They have really good breakfast, lots of options and some options are freshly prepared by chefs on request.The staff are polite.

What a terrible hotel. It is dirty, it feels like you are checking in to a hostel. Do not go here unless you have nowhere else to go (like in my case). There is a very good reason this is the only place with accommodation available.

Large room, clean sheets, comfortable bed. TZS 75,000. Lacking in small things like rubish bin in toilet, glas for toothbrush, shampoo, floor mat in front of shower.Room safe was not open and thus inoperational. Various wooden objects in bad maintenance mode. Power plugs in poor quality (European plug didnt hold). Little worm in the sink and shower looked like bloodless leeches. Room 204
